Motherhood is a divine blessing. Anti-natal care is a potential timely care of mother and foetus till delivery from first month of her pregnancy which is co-related with Garbhini Paricharya explained in Ayurveda, to get Shreyasi Praja which ensure normal pregnancy and uncomplicated labour with delivery of a healthy baby from healthy mother. Wellbeing of garbha can be achieved only through of the wellness of the garbhini thus Acharyas have given it under Garbhini Paricharya concept. In Ayurveda along with Trimester wise regimen, Garbhini Paricharya comprises Masanumasik Pathya (Month wise dietary regimen), Garbhopaghatakara Bhavas which are contraindicated Dietetics and mode of life for mother. Garbhasthapaka drugs which are useful for foetus.   AIMS AND OBJECTIVE To study Garbhini Paricharya and establish its Ayurveda co-ordination. To evaluate Trimester wise regimen. To give proper nutrition, equilibrium of doshas, welfare and contraindication of mother and Foetus.   METHODOLOGY Reviewing the modern science literature regarding Anti-natal care and Ayurvedic classics, commentaries also recently published books and Research journals, the Garbhini Paricharya collection done and attempt to get co-relation between Ayurveda and Modern Anti-natal care for healthy progeny.   CONCLUSION- Ayurvedic preconceptional measure help to achieve the goal of preconception to have healthy and good progeny. Ayurvedic remedy for getting healthy progeny emphasizes again preventive aspect of Ayurveda.   KEY WORDS: Garbhini Paricharya, Month wise dietary regimen, Garbhopaghatakara Bhavas, Garbhasthapaka drugs, Anti-natal care.

Background: Healthy child development is dependent on a mentally and physically healthy mother. Depressions in mother can adversely affect their offspring healthy growth. Aim: To estimate the frequency of post-natal depression in mothers having malnourished infants. Place and duration of study: Department of Psychiatry, Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Qeutta from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2020. Methodology: In this case control study 250 mothers (125 were malnourished infants or toddlers mothers and other 125 from healthy weight infants/toddlers mothers) were interviewed to assess their depressional state. Their stress inducing factors, age and other clinical comorbidities were also documented. Results: Mean mother age of malnourished infants/toddlers was 28.1±6.6 years in comparison to 27.8±5.2 years of healthy weight infants/toddlers mother’s respectively. Twenty four percent malnourished infant/toddlers’ mothers were single parent. Un-employed spouse of mothers to malnourished infant/toddlers were found at higher frequency (51.06%) than of healthy infant/toddlers (23.4%).The frequency of post-natal depression among mothers of malnourished infants/toddlers was observed in 57.6% cases Conclusion: Out of total 57.5% mothers of malnourished children suffering from post-natal depression there are 15.2% to 9.6% those having moderate to highly moderate post-natal depression. Keywords: Post-natal depression, Malnourish, Infants, Toddlers

In light of official reports indicating a still prevalent tendency to masculinized obesity and overweight in Japan (Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare, 2015), this article explores the experiences of 28 Japanese men grappling with bodyweight control. Aged between 24 and 67, 3 of the men were postgraduate or undergraduate students, 7 self-employed, 17 company workers and 1 retired. Fourteen hold a university degree, 1 completed senior high school and 10 finished 3-year junior college. Twelve were married and 16 were single. Ten of the participants have been requested to lose weight because of being at risk of developing metabolic diseases, the rest have been called “chubby” ( debu) and all of them have unsuccessfully tried to lose weight. A set of two, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with each participant in Tokyo and Osaka in June and July 2015, 2016, and 2017. Grounded in symbolic interactionism, the interview analysis allows for a reading of the participants’ embodied subjectivity in line with three axes: autodidact self, gendered self, and emotional self. The article highlights how the feminization of care has an effect on the participant’s daily interactions. In conclusion, the article underscores the salience of “emotional attachment” to food (Lupton, 1998, p. 158), the “emotionalization” of food consumption and the emotionalization of the “fat body” in understanding their experiences dealing with corpulence in a country where slimness appears to be “ethnicized.”

Abstract Peking opera epitomizes the traditional Chinese performing arts, and all six factors concerning the story and performance of Peking opera, namely plot, role type, song, speech, acting, and combat, can produce humorous effects among the audience. The present paper is a tentative study on humor and sensing humor in Peking opera. The scale study testified that all six factors were able to produce humorous effects and that they had different degrees of comprehension difficulty and humor for different contributing factors. The degree of comprehension difficulty can assert negative influence upon the degree of humor. Different from the traditionally held nonmonotonic (inverted-U) correlation between the two, a monotonic inverse proportion between the two has been detected. The interview analyses revealed that the humorous effects had something to do with incongruity but that resolution might not necessarily be involved. The scale study and the interview analysis both support this finding.

In the recent years voluntarism in Russia has been growing steadily. This activity has some characteristics, which make it particularly sense sensitive: it is performed without any payment, or any obligation motives, volunteers are more likely to establish personal and closed relationships with elderly people and get in touch with main existentials (death, blame, suffer, aging, etc.). The main directions of volunteerism scientific investigation are generally devoted to volunteers` characteristics, their motivation and organizational issues. At the same time there is a lack of studies, which could represent this activity from the participants` point of view. In this article the results of interview analysis with volunteers from two volunteer organizations, who provide help for elderly people in institutions, are exposed. Following the approach of phenomenological interpretative analysis, "felt senses" are described: breaking everyday life bounds, broadening perspective, sense of unity, "the foundation of life".

ABSTRACT. The goal of this study is to explore the strategies of reading comprehension among Iranian learners at A1 and A2 levels and thereby access a part of their mental process. A field study based on semi-structured interview was carried out in four French institutes in Tehran. Our results demonstrate that the syntax and lexicon act as a double-edged sword. Although they facilitate learning process, but also are considered as obstacles in the reading comprehension. Regarding to interview analysis, our participants resorted to guessing / inductive inference, resourcing and affective strategies including the technique of "dodging difficulties". Keywords: beginning level learners, Reading comprehension, FFL (French as a ForeignLanguage), Learning strategies.

Abstract Retirement is an ever-evolving, dynamic, and complex social construct we associate with the end of one’s career. Exploring what retirement means to different people can contribute to a better understanding of the implications of this important transition at the individual and societal level. However, sifting through participants stories is not always a straightforward endeavor, particularly in the case when participants have something to hide. This paper examines the value of qualitative research methods in unpacking complex personal narratives. As the landscape surrounding mature workers’ experiences continues to change, this paper extends policy debates about retirement, as well as scholarly conversations about the richness and complexity of qualitative research.

Abstract Introduction: Maternal obesity/overweight during pregnancy has reached epidemic proportions and has been linked with adverse outcomes for the offspring, including cognitive impairment and increased risk for neuropsychiatric disorders. Prior neuroimaging investigations have reported widespread aberrant functional connectivity and white matter tract abnormalities in neonates born to obese mothers. Here we explored whether maternal pre-pregnancy adiposity is associated with alterations in local neuronal synchrony in the neonate brain. Methods: 21 healthy mother-neonate dyads from uncomplicated pregnancies were included in this study (age at scanning 26.14 ± 6.28 days, 12 male). The neonates were scanned with a 6-minute resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) during natural sleep. Regional homogeneity (ReHo) maps were computed from obtained rs-fMRI data. Multiple regression analysis was performed to assess the association of pre-pregnancy maternal body-mass-index (BMI) and ReHo. Results: Maternal adiposity measured by pre-pregnancy BMI was positively associated with neonate ReHo values within the left superior frontal gyrus (FDR/FWE –corrected p < 0.005). Conclusions: Our results imply that maternal pre-pregnancy BMI associates with local functional synchrony within the neonate left superior frontal gyrus. In line with previous studies, our findings indicate that maternal pre-pregnancy BMI has a programming influence on the developing neonate brain functional networks.
