T he current epidemic situation in Russia and the world caused by coronavirus infection requires prompt solutions to eliminate the consequences of the pandemic in almost all sectors of economic activity. The isolation of the population from mutual contacts was one of the effective solutions to the problem. This arose the need for the educational institutions to promptly switch to a remote mode of education. Those involved in the distance learning process faced a wide range of different problems, which defines the topicality of developing the efficient measures aimed to overcome the challenges of the distance learning process. The subject of the work is the analysis of the processes arising from the sudden transition of the educational environment of the university to the distance learning format, the development of a rating model designed to grade the problems which are important for the students and which are determined by the transition to the distance learning format, and the development of directions for solving the established problems. The aim of the study is to identify the problems that have arisen from the transition to a distance learning format among the students and to develop an organizational and managerial tool to fix these problems. The study relies on the information taken from a secondary data analysis performed by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) and the results of their own research by the students specializing in Economics at the Institute of Economics and Management in Penza State University. The research methods included SPSS based comparative and frequency analysis. The scientific novelty of the work is as follows: 1) a rating evaluation of the problems arising from the transfer of the educational process of the university to a distance learning format in the context of a "shock" transition associated with force majeure caused by coronavirus infection has been developed; 2) University students’ satisfaction with distance learning and students’ readiness to apply the technological distance learning tools and possibilities of Moodle based electronic educational resources in the distance learning format have been identified. Statistical processing of the research results with nonparametric criteria contributes into the reliability of the findings and the recommendation. The practical significance of the research lies in the developed concept of the organizational and managerial mechanism for overcoming the problems arising from the transition to the university’s distance learning environment. This mechanism refers to the social and informational areas, reduces the time of transition to the distance learning format, and accounts for the interests and readiness of the teaching staff and students. Further research is seen to be connected with monitoring the validity of the revealed problems in their dynamics with a one semester lag.

The work considered a system of knowledge control of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. It was shown that the quality of higher education depends mainly on the level of student training, the qualifications of teaching staff, the organization of the learning process, the efficiency of monitoring the quality of the education, and also factors allowing to improve the quality of education in the university. Assessment of the knowledge quality received by the students in the "Chemistry" discipline was carried out among the students of the Automobile Faculty of the KHNADU, entered the first year of the Bachelor of full-time education, during 2014/15–2018/19 academic years. The control was carried out with the help of traditional pedagogical practice types – the main (preliminary, final, and control of residual knowledge) and periodical (current and thematic knowledge tests). Statistical research on the performance of the main types of students' knowledge control, as more significant, shows that the important part of educational activity in university is an effective organization of its control. It was established that main principles of the control of students’ knowledge received during learning subject are the regularity and systematical conduct, the objectivity of assessment of the level of students' skills, the ability to identify the actual level of learning educational materials by the students, the timeliness of identification of the gaps in the learning process by the teacher and applying ways to overcome them. The internal and external factors affecting the performance of students during studying the "Chemistry" discipline have been distinguished. The internal factors are the knowledge level before entering the university and the motivation for learning the subject. The external are an organization of the educational process, self-organization of student learning activity, teaching methods and forms and professionalism of the educator, quality of additional services (holding consultations and individual lessons), educator-student relationship. It was identified that during studying the "Chemistry" discipline, the influence of the factors that students had before entering the university is weakened, and the external factors, which appeared in the process of studying in university, have a significant impact.

Distance education is essentially the basis for the development of educational institutions that provide innovative services, which cannot be obtained elsewhere. It is believed that distance education is a substitute for the traditional as part of simplifying and cheapening the learning process. At the same time, the leading global trends suggest the need for the development of elements of self-education and the expansion of the geographical nature of educational offers. The relevance of the study is that it is necessary to distinguish between the use of distance education methods in the traditional sphere and the sphere of training professionals. The paper presents the concept of the need to integrate elements of distance education in the process of preparing university teachers. The authors believe that teachers in drawing up courses and applying learning technologies use the same techniques as in distance learning. Therefore, the use of distance learning technologies can be shown as the basis for the development of advanced training programs and additional professional education. The authors proposed a study on the need and sufficiency of the use of distance education technologies and the possibilities for their integration into the process of postgraduate education. The practical significance of the work is determined by the fact that the possibilities of self-development of teachers are fully disclosed, not only as subjects of the educational process but also as subjects of training.

This work is devoted to some aspects of the psychological adaptation of students of a medical university to the distance learning process during a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. The presented research is relevant for several reasons, the leading of which are: the ongoing reform of the education and health care systems in our country – both of which affect students of medical universities and various aspects of their educational activities, including their psychological adaptation to it; as well as the global pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 that emerged in 2020, as a result of which, almost all scientists at various levels around the world were forced to switch to distance learning. The purpose of this work was to identify and analyze some elements of psychological adaptation of students directly to the distance learning process. The objects of the study were 200 men and women, students of the medical faculty. A certain interest in the study is also due to the fact that the same students were involved in it for 2 semesters (spring and autumn) of 2020. In order to track the development of their possible adaptation mechanisms to distance learning, the level of anxiety, both personal and situational, was determined; identified various depressive states; determined the reasons for the main fears and concerns, both directly to the period of an unfavorable epidemiological situation, and to the distance learning process itself. The main points of psychological adaptation were identified, with the identification of factors contributing to them. This work is of certain interest for all higher school teachers involved in the educational process with students, as well as for psychologists and all kinds of researchers dealing with the psychological health of students.

The growing global competition and the need for exibility of educational institutions of higher education actually require a transformation of processes that provide a high level of interaction and integration between business processes and systems at all organizational levels and all participants in the entire value chain. The digitalization of the educational system is an objective necessity for functioning in a modern highly competitive environment. The introduction of innovations in educational activities using digital technologies allows you to reduce the cost of implementation, making changes, updating educational programs, and increasing the degree of exibility of the educational environment to changes in external factors.Digitalization as a whole is aimed at reducing the in uence of the human factor, which makes it possible to minimize negative risks when making managerial decisions. The purpose of this article is to study the opinions of students of the Federal state Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev-KAI» (hereinafter referred to as the University, KNRTU-KAI) on the prevalence of digital technologies at the university. In the context of the study, the opinions of students (users of KNRTU-KAI services) about their readiness to switch to digital technologies in the educational process are considered. In the current realities, in the context of a dif cult epidemiological situation in the world associated with the spread of coronavirus infection, digitalization in higher education - the transition to distance learning determines the relevance of the chosen topic. In the current realities, in the context of a dif cult epidemiological situation in the world associated with the spread of coronavirus infection, digitalization in higher education - the transition to distance learning determines the relevance of the chosen topic. The digital transformation of society at the beginning of the 21st century, which conceptually changed the daily life of every person, has in uenced almost all levels of social relations.Taking into account the fact that digitalization affects many areas, the authors consider the issue of its impact on the quality of modern higher education.

Nowadays the model for adaption complex in students with disabilities for studying in higher educational establishments is being developed and implemented that supposes the following main components: 1) physical adaptation to the space of institution (spatial component); 2) inclusion in the educational process (educational component); 3) adaptation to the environment of course-mates and faculty staff (socio-psychological component). In comparison with spatial component, educational and socio-psychological components are not well-developed. Scientists define the following factors of successful professional adaptation of the students with disabilities: basic level of preparation for study at university; correspondence of skills and experience with the volume and level of knowledge of academic activity; aspiration to acquire the chosen profession and to work in the given field; interest to the subjects of the general and special cycle; acquisition of skills to work independently; availability of tutors’ institution; professional and pedagogical expertise of teaching staff; psychological monitoring of teaching process and etc. Students with disabilities face the specific difficulties in the process of interaction with course-mates. These difficulties are connected with the course-mates not always being able to perceive and accept such people adequately. While showing sympathy, patience and understanding to these students, notionally healthy students are not eager to consider them as their friends and spend free time with them. On the other hand, the difficulties in interaction with course-mates and teachers for the students with disabilities resulted from their communicative skills – adequate self-expression in the process of communication, tendency to establish tight contacts, orientation to the compromise and cooperation. The process of adaptation of the students with disabilities to study at higher educational establishments is a complex and specific process. The specifics of the considered process is due to negative impact of student’s disability on it. Therefore, the process of adaptation to study at the university occur in two ways: adaptation to the outer conditions of the learning process and by way of displaying activity with the aim of overcoming own disability. Despite the described ways of students with disabilities adaptation to the learning process at higher educational establishments are closely connected, that is the second way that is considered to be the most successful one.

The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that open educational resources carry the ability to overcome the basic methodological construct complicating the learning process among students and namely the use of international experience while learning and obtaining knowledge. This study shows the aspects of functioning open educational resources and their technological basis. The novelty of the work was the formation of a model for the use of open educational resources in training of specialized courses of the Department of applied chemistry. The authors showed that the effectiveness of open educational resources use depends directly on the share of online learning and technological isolation of subjects. In particular, not only learning processes in the implementation of the program in applied chemistry, but also other disciplines that require the exchange of experience between countries and the use of a wide range of technological equipment and online structure are considered. In particular, training on the example of databases, information networks, and other spatially distributed structures are considered too. The practical significance of the study is defined by the fact that the use of open educational resources will not only intensify the learning process at the university, but also to determine the possibility of integration into the world educational space.

Introduction. In spring 2020, Russia, as all other countries around the world, faced the challenge of massive shift of schools to online learning. This shift revealed the lack of existing empirical data on technological and instructional readiness of the local teaching communities to such learning format. Having regulatory and platform capacities for distance education at the national level, there was a widening gap between local teaching communities regarding their facilities and readiness to transform traditional learning process. Aim. This research is aimed at defining the attitude of teachers to the shift to distance learning, as well as their estimates of its potential for the learning process. Methodology and research methods. The current research is based on the ideas of innovation and technology acceptance, as well as planed behaviour that have been suggested by F. Davis, T. Guskey, M. Fishbein and I. Ajzen, and R. Puentedura. The research materials were collected via a survey completed by 239 learners of the online upskilling programme “Digitization of the educational process”. The survey was conducted in March-April 2020. Texts collected for the open-ended questions in the survey were subjected to the content analysis. Results. Judging from the survey results, local teaching communities multiplied their usage of online platforms and other e-learning technologies (messaging services, videoconferencing, etc.). Teachers highly evaluated their technological and instructional competencies for distance learning as early as in April 2020, while they perceived their pupils' readiness to such learning as moderate. At the same time, teachers moderately valued the state's contribution into the support of schools when they shift into massive distance learning, and showed significant interest in the non-state educational platforms. The majority of teachers believe that digital educational technologies are sufficient for high-quality teaching of their disciplines and achieving their learning objectives. The survey results demonstrated significant internal potential of the regional education system for a change, technological and instructional development. Scientific novelty consists of a deep analysis of a specific local pedagogical community, based on the collection of material about the reflection of school staff on technological and methodological changes in education specifically in the period of active transformational changes. A high internal potential of the local pedagogical community for transformation on the basis of operational empirical measurements has been recorded. Practical significance. The present research shows that respondents, who perform remote teaching during the Covid-19 quarantine, perceive digital technologies as approachable, helpful and already date-to-date tools; the regional teachers proved to be self-reflexing and flexible. The deficits and growing points that the teachers defined, should be used to navigate the actions of the decision makers responsible for distance learning at school during and after the quarantine.
