Improving the technology for the preparation of clay raw materials for the refractory production

The technical solution of the screen with increased efficiency of separation of clay rock mass is considered. The most rational design of non-driven grate screens cantilever and spring-loaded screens — has been identified. A mathematical model is presented and a methodology for calculating the screen parameters is presented. It is shown that when selecting the appropriate parameter values for the grid-irons of the screening surface, the screens can be used for screening clay mass.

A technical solution is proposed for the elimination the grabbing of drilling tool, based on the use of energy due to the circulation of the drilling fluid. The expediency eliminating the grabbing drilling tool using the hydro-impulse method is substantiated. A method of drawing up a mathematical model for the dynamic process of a grabbing string of drill pipes in the case of perturbation of hydro-impulse oscillations in the area of the productive rock layer is developed. The law of longitudinal displacements arising in the trapped string is obtained, which allows choosing the optimal geometrical parameters of the passage channels and the frequency rotational of shutter for these channels. Recommendations for using this method for practical use have been systematized.

This work is part of a series of articles under the general title The structural design of the blast furnace wall from efficient materials [1–3]. In part 1, Problem statement and calculation prerequisites, typical multilayer enclosing structures of a blast furnace are considered. The layers that make up these structures are described. The main attention is paid to the lining layer. The process of iron smelting and temperature conditions in the characteristic layers of the internal environment of the furnace is briefly described. Based on the theory of A.V. Lykov, the initial equations describing the interrelated transfer of heat and mass in a solid are analyzed in relation to the task – an adequate description of the processes for the purpose of further rational design of the multilayer enclosing structure of the blast furnace. A priori the enclosing structure is considered from a mathematical point of view as the unlimited plate. In part 2, Solving boundary value problems of heat transfer, boundary value problems of heat transfer in individual layers of a structure with different boundary conditions are considered, their solutions, which are basic when developing a mathematical model of a non-stationary heat transfer process in a multi-layer enclosing structure, are given. Part 3 presents a mathematical model of the heat transfer process in the enclosing structure and an algorithm for its implementation. The proposed mathematical model makes it possible to solve a large number of problems. Part 4 presents a number of examples of calculating the heat transfer process in a multilayer blast furnace enclosing structure. The results obtained correlate with the results obtained by other authors, this makes it possible to conclude that the new mathematical model is suitable for solving the problem of rational design of the enclosing structure, as well as to simulate situations that occur at any time interval of operation of the blast furnace enclosure.

In this paper, we study mathematical model of ecology with a tritrophic food chain composed of a classical Lotka-Volterra functional response for prey and predator, and a Holling type-III functional response for predator and super predator. There are two equilibrium points of the system. In the parameter space, there are passages from instability to stability, which are called Hopf bifurcation points. For the first equilibrium point, it is possible to find bifurcation points analytically and to prove that the system has periodic solutions around these points. Furthermore the dynamical behaviors of this model are investigated. Models for biologically reasonable parameter values, exhibits stable, unstable periodic and limit cycles. The dynamical behavior is found to be very sensitive to parameter values as well as the parameters of the practical life. Computer simulations are carried out to explain the analytical findings.

The purpose of the study is to improve the efficiency of production areas of multi-stage production with the possibility of rational use of equipment capacity and stocks of WIP inventory in the operation conditions of the automated operational scheduling system. Features of the considered problem regarding operative calendar planning are: necessity of processing raw materials at several stages according to the flow chart; an array of the equipment which demands division of work into three periods for each party; availability of planned and unscheduled equipment downtime; necessity to complete set of orders from several suborders; availability of incomplete production in a warehouse; restrictions in order and timing of orders. In the work, the authors construct a mathematical model with the use of multidimensional matroids with structured elements in the construction of free time scale for equipment loading. Automatic Synchronization as the Element of a Power System's Anti-Collapse Complex In the work, a new universal technical solution is proposed for blackout prevention in a power system, which combines the means for its optimal short-term sectioning and automatic self-restoration to normal conditions. The key element of self-restoration is automatic synchronization. The authors show that for this purpose it is possible to use automatic re-closing with a device for synchronism-check. The results of computations, with simplified formulas and a relevant mathematical model employed, indicate the area of application for this approach. The proposed solution has been created based on many-year experience in the liquidation of emergencies and on the potentialities of equipment, taking into account new features of blackout development that have come into being recently.

The paper presents a mathematical model for analysis of friction between the tool bearing saddle and conductor at CNC lathe. The analysis of longitudinal advance movement laws is performed taking into account the appearance and development of disturbing harmonic forces created by auto-vibrations determined by the interaction between the partial elastic systems of tool and workpiece. The friction force is emphasized as product of two components depending on the sliding speed and on the normal disturbing force. By establishing the dynamic response of the system, when the normal force depends linearly on speed, acceleration and mobile ensemble position, the premises are created for stability analysis of the friction movement, obtaining the limit speeds under which the stick-slip phenomenon occurs. Thus, it is provided for a rational design of CNC lathe elastic structure, in order to improve the surface quality and the dimensional precision.

Mathematical modeling utilized to simplify real phenomena that occur in everyday life. Mathematical modeling is popular to modeling the case of the spread of disease in an area, the growth of living things, and social behavior in everyday life and so on. This type of research is included in the study of theoretical and applied mathematics. The research steps carried out include 1) constructing a mathematical model type SEIRS, 2) analysis on the SEIRS type mathematical model by using parameter values for conditions 1and , 3) Numerical simulation to see the behavior of the population in the model, and 4) to conclude the results of the numerical simulation of the SEIRS type mathematical model. The simulation results show that the model stabilized in disease free quilibrium for the condition  and stabilized in endemic equilibrium for the condition .

The article presents a developed mathematical model for calculating the granulometric composition of the blasted rock mass based on the mechanism of action of an explosion in rocks, a mathematical description of the determination of natural units (blocks) in the rock mass, the relationship between the degree of rock fragmentation and the size of the units and the definition of sections of the controlled pressure zone.

The purpose of the research is to increase the level of security of electronic document metadata in the face of destructive influences from authorized users (insiders). Research methods: new scientific results allowed using a combination of data integrity control method based on the «write once» method and of authentication of HMAС messages (hash-based message authentication, as well as graph theory methods. Research result: a method of cryptographic recursive 2-D control of the integrity of electronic documents metadata is proposed. The analysis of the object of the study was carried out, based on the results of which it was concluded that it is necessary to effectively protect the metadata of electronic documents processed by automated information systems of electronic document management. Developed and described a mathematical model of the proposed method, based on graph theory. The developed technical solution makes it possible to implement the functions of cryptographic recursive twodimensional control of the integrity of the metadata of electronic documents, as well as to provide the possibility of localizing modified (with signs of violation of integrity) metadata records, in conditions of destructive influences of authorized users (insiders). This, in turn, reduces the likelihood of collusion between trusted parties by introducing mutual control over the results of their actions. The proposed solution makes it possible to ensure control of the integrity of data processed by departmental automated information systems of electronic document management, where, due to the peculiarities of their construction, it is impossible to effectively use the currently popular blockchain technology.

We focused on vibration characteristics of reciprocating compressors and constructed the mathematical model to calculate the natural frequencies and modes for crank angles and proposed a method to estimate the degree and the suspicious portion of failure by difference of temporal parameter values obtained using measuring data in operation and the mathematical model. In this paper, according to the proposed method, a case study is carried out using the field data, where the data were acquired before and after the failures occurred in the connecting parts of connecting rod, to prospect the difference between each parameter value for two operating states. Inspecting resonant characteristics each in the frequency response data relating to the natural frequencies for bending modes of the piston rod, we determined two resonant frequencies, which could correspond to the 1st and 2nd mode about bending of the piston rod. To equate the calculated each natural frequency from eigen value analysis based on the proposed model with each resonant frequency, we define the error function for the identified problem, namely optimum problem. In the identified results, it is found that some parameter values have much difference and the corresponding failure could occur around the connecting rod. We could show the possibility to detect both the change of the parameter values and the deterioration parts for two different kinds of the operating states by our proposed method.
