The strategic development of retail is taking place in a fiercely competitive environment. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic and the weakening of the ruble, the development of the strategy has become particularly important for retailers. The apparel market has a number of specific features that significantly affect the formation of the development strategy. One of the most important directions in achieving competitive stability is to optimize logistics costs through the development of the distribution network. The article presents the results of a study of the competitive position of the apparel brand "MOHITO". The study proved the logistics strategy of the retailer in Siberia and the Far East as well-founded. This strategy is based on the organization of a distribution centre in Irkutsk which leads to reorganization of the supply chain of the LPP holding including the retailer "MOHITO". We also provided supporting rationale of the capacity of the potential market of the retailer in Siberia and the Far East in the case of the opening of a reference distribution centre in Irkutsk.

<p>This paper deals with the results of the businesses combinations and the advantages felt in solving the problems of certain entities, the extension on other markets or obtaining increased quotas on the market. Also, businesses combinations can generate disadvantages regarding the access to credits or negative effects on the salary. A business combination is based on taking risks an has advantages as well as disadvantages, on both the short and the long term, while the decision of making it has in view the development strategy of the organisation. The aim of the paper is to analyze and balance the benefits and disadvantages of business combinations. It is questioned the need to use this method and its use only for the advantages obtained despite the existing disadvantages.</p>

The main subject of the research in this article is the development  policy of the Far East as one of the aspects (components) of the  strategy of pivot to the East, declared and implemented by the  country's leadership from the beginning of the 2000s. The case of  Russian policy related to the development of the Far East has a  scientific and practical interest in two respects. On the one hand, as  a means of ensuring success in Russia's general pass to Asia, on the other, as an example, allowing judging the content, basic  approaches and principles of modern Russian regional policy as a  whole. The main features and peculiarities of this policy are  considered by the authors in the context of the discussion about the so-called new paradigm of regional policy that is unfolding in  recent years. The article analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of  the new regional policy, and evaluates its effectiveness.

The article is a development of a variation of the methodology for developing a strategy for the development of an enterprise in the field of agribusiness. The strategic development line for an agribusiness enterprise is based on a detailed analysis of the external environment and a comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of the potential of the internal environment, but the emphasis in the development strategy, unified for all agribusiness enterprises in Russia, should be uniform, as the results of this work show. Many agribusiness enterprises are not able to use a development strategy, due to the fact that they have a weak internal potential that does not allow them to realize the opportunities provided to them by a favorable external environment. An agribusiness that is in a different position, in order to use all the benefits available to enterprises that use the traditional approach in forming a development strategy, must first use a comprehensive analysis. Agromarketing is singled out as the main direction aimed at strengthening and developing the internal environment of the agribusiness organization. Agromarketing, based on the principles of customer orientation, realizing all the needs and requirements of a potential consumer of agricultural products.

Subject. This article focuses on the development strategy of the agro-industrial complex and innovative development of agricultural organizations in the Republic of Mordovia. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Mordovia. Methods. For the study, reviewing fundamental and applied research works of domestic scientists, I used general scientific and special methods. Results. Having analyzed the main trends of technological development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Mordovia, the article identifies the priorities of innovative development of agricultural organizations and presents methodological approaches to the formation of a strategy for innovative development of agro-industrial complex industries. Conclusions. The identified positive developments in technological development are not sufficient for the comprehensive innovation of the agricultural organizations of the Republic of Mordovia.

The proposals of the authorities on the development of the Far East at the beginning of the 20th century are considered. The relevance of studying the past experience in the development of this region is due to the increased attention of the authorities to the introduction of large-scale programs to strengthen the eastern borders of the state. The authors note the increased scientific interest in the study of the history of the Far East development at the beginning of the 20th century. An analysis of government actions in the Amur region during this period allowed the authors to determine their relationship with the foreign policy position of the empire in the Far East. It was determined that the formation of the Committee for the Settlement of the Far East was aimed at consolidating the actions of the central and provincial authorities. The authors note that at the stage of preliminary coordination of the directions of the Committee’s activities, the members of the government did not have a holistic idea of the regional development strategy. A comparative analysis revealed that the proposals of the central and regional authorities did not have any fundamental differences. The pragmatism of the proposals of local governors was noted. The authors come to the conclusion that the creation of the Committee for the Settlement of the Far East and the organization of the Amur expedition were undertaken under the influence of an external threat and aimed at strengthening the military-industrial potential of the region. The authors note that the administrative and economic development of the region was not a priority for the central authorities.

Tourism development can be seen from two strategic development approaches, one of them is the aspect of market driven. This research is aimed 1) To identify the factors that influence the tourists’ satisfaction who have visited the Kuta Beach Lombok; 2) To analyze the relationship between tourists’ importance level and performance of tourism destination elements of Kuta Beach Lombok; 3) To determine the development priority based on tourists’ satisfaction on the performance of tourism destination elements of Kuta Beach Lombok. This research is based on quantitative method that are factor analysis and Important Performance Analysis. Sample determination in this research used purposive sampling. The number of sampel for factor analysis is 165 and 30 samples for Important Performance analysis of foreign tourists’ who have visited Kuta Beach Lombok. Data in this research were gathered by questionnaire. Factor analysis showed eight factors that affected the tourists’ satisfaction who have visited Kuta Beach Lombok that are accomodation, hospitality, transportation, public facilities, infrastructure, tourism facility, safety and price. Importance Performance analysis showed the suitability level of importance and performance of tourism destination elements of Kuta Beach Lombok have satisfied the foreign tourists. The development strategy is increasing the bad performance of tourism destination elements in quandran I and maintaining the good performance of tourism destination elements in quandran II based on the result of caretesian quandrant.
