The article is written in the framework of the research project of the Moscow state university of psychology and education "Development of a conceptual model of a new school". In this article, the authors attempt to start a comparative analysis of conceptual educational systems and practices that have common value and theoretical and methodological foundations and can become the basis for building the educational process within the framework of the project being developed. It is important to enrich understanding of how the principles of subjectness, cooperation, and development can be implemented on a school-wide scale through a comparison of the system of developmental instruction training and the reflexive-activity approach. The article attempts to integrate these approaches in the process of designing a new school.

Purpose : To determine the conditions and prospects of traditional and innovative education. Indicate the principles and patterns of the development of educational system. Consideration of established traditions, definition of modern methodology and methods of teaching history corresponding to the realities of a changing society, identification of the specifics of this discipline in the context of technical education based on the analysis of the pedagogical experience of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. Methods: Comparison, observation, generalization, ascent from the abstract to the concrete. Historical, problem-chronological, discourse analysis, which makes it possible to determine the prospects for the development of pedagogy. Results: The analysis demonstrated the importance of rich experience in teaching history at a technical university and the prospects for traditional and innovative development of education; the advantages and disadvantages of the electronic educational process are specified. Modern education requires the integration of traditional and distance technologies, the creation of an effective system of innovative education, management and regulation of high-quality testing of the innovation flow. Conclusions: Based on the pedagogical experience of the National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, the article analyzes significant teaching and training methods in the modernization of the education system, the use of digital technologies and traditional education, which retains its importance with the rapid development of innovations.

The role of the museum display of the Natural Zoning and Soil Formation Department of the Space Earth Science and Sustainable Nature Management Sector of the Landholding museum of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in the formation and development of the scientific conceptual apparatus of students and schoolchildren of the last stage of education is discussed. The scientific and artistic forms of providing the provisions of science are revealed. The role of scientific and philosophical creativity of V.I. Vernadsky, V.V. Dokuchaev, G.V. Dobrovolsky, Yu. K. Efremov, E.D. Nikitin, V.P. Belov in the educational process is shown on the example of the display. Outlines the history of the formation of layered geological formations at MSU. The features of independently established educational standards and curricula at the geological faculty of Moscow state University are considered. The difficulties encountered in the formation of the structure of educational standards, curriculum development and transition to the system of credits are analyzed. Questions of formation of structure of educational process in a magistracy on the basis of master's programs, instead of on profiles of preparation, as in a bachelor's degree are brought up.

The creation of the laboratory of experimental geodynamics of the Earth Science Museum history is considered in the context of geodynamics establishment of as a branch of geology. The main directions of experimental research carried out in the laboratory for the period 2015-2020 and the main results of the experiments are presented. The issues of using experimental results in the educational process and in the museum exposition are highlighted.

The purpose of this paper is to examine different social and academic activities related to the development of a digital culture of bachelors and masters of culture and arts. It analyses the achieved results of the research project aimed at the study of educational and pedagogical opportunities and resources for the more effective development of digital competencies of students and graduates in the life-long system of sociocultural education and realized in the Moscow State University of Culture (Khimki, Moscow region), the Petrozavodsk State University (Petrozavods, Republic of Karelia) and in the Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin (Ulyanovsk) in 2010-2019. The authors consider digital competences as a core of a digital culture of graduated in arts and culture is a multi-level, complex, interdisciplinary phenomenon, and therefore it needs a comprehensive analysis from the standpoint of several sciences (philosophy, sociology, psychology and pedagogy, etc.). The results of the implementation of educational technologies orientated to values and competences of a digital culture are discussed. The paper focuses on the importance of the educational process orientated on creation of values of digital culture which are significant for the organization of social and cultural activities in the frame of the state policy on digitalization of education and culture.

The subject of this research is the learning of English language by students of the department of Foreign Languages and Area Studies of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in the context of the basic course curriculum “Foreign Language I (English)”. The object of this research is the motives for learning English language and their impact upon motivation in the educational process. Based on results of survey carried out among students, analysis is conducted on the motives for learning English language and their transformation during the educational process. The acquire data present new relevant information that allows determining the forms of motivation contributing to successful acquisition of the curriculum, formation of professional and general cultural competencies of students, and improvement of educational process. The conclusion is made on the prevalence in students of inner motive for learning aimed at development of communication skills and overcoming language barrier. Implementation of classes in form of discussions into the educational process enhances positive motivation, and involvement of the specifically developed textbooks contribute to successful learning of foreign language within the framework of educational standard.

The article discusses the prospects of role-playing games in the educational process to increase students’ motivation and involvement, as well as the possibility of modern information technologies (primarily social networks) for constructing innovative forms of such games. The author’s format of the live-action role-playing game is presented. It was developed and tested at the Saratov State University. It involves the integration of numerous educational tasks into a single plot, within which each participant plays a role and communicates with other participants to complete tasks. The main interaction, plot development and group activities occur in dialogs, conversations and groups of social networks. This approach has shown its viability in teaching legal disciplines, and also has prospects for use in IT education.
