Balai Pertemuan Bumi Sangkuriang is one heritage building  in Bandung. However, its existence as a Heritage Building is still less known by the public in society Bandung. The attitude of the people of Bandung to Balai Pertemuan Bumi Sangkuriang just a meeting place that can only be visited by people of Bandung that are members of the society. This study aims to determine the attitude of the people of Bandung to the existence of Balai Pertemuan Bumi Sangkuriang as a heritage building. This study took a sample of 100 respondents by job. Data were processed using simple regression models.The results showed a significant influence on the attitude of the people in Bandung against BPBS Building existence as a Heritage Building. Perceptions of Attitudes Bandung society to Buildings BPBS rated Good. Similarly, public assessment of the existence of the building BPBS Bandung as a Heritage Building also rated Good.A good assessment of the attitude of the people of Bandung to the existence BPBS building as a heritage building, but managers still need to increase efforts to inform BPBS building as one of the heritage building in the city of Bandung. Keywords: Heritage building  , Attitude

This chapter tells the story of public speaking in Russia from the imposition of greater restrictions on the public sphere in 1867 through to the eve of Alexander II’s assassination in 1881. It shows that in this period the focus of the Russian public switched from the zemstvo to the courtroom, where a number of high-profile trials took place (and were reported, sometimes in stenographic detail, in the press). The chapter examines the careers and profiles of some of Russia’s leading courtroom orators. It also explores the activities of the Russian socialists (populists), in particular the ‘Going to the People’ movement of 1873–4 and later propaganda efforts in the city and the courtroom. It ends by considering the intensification of public discourse at the end of the 1870s: the Russo-Turkish War saw a surge of patriotic mobilization, but at the same time the populist adoption of terrorism seized public attention.

This chapter explores the similarities and differences in methods of conveying information to common people in two societies where printing was coming into greater use — the huge agrarian empire of Song China (tenth to thirteen centuries) and the city of Renaissance Rome (fourteenth to fifteenth centuries). The Song material is strongest on the bureaucratic reasons for posting notices and the language used in them. Authors preserved hundreds of notices, probably seeing in them proof of their serious commitment to promoting the welfare of the people under them. The sources for notice-posting in Renaissance Rome are fuller on the practices associated with circulating notices throughout the city on church doors both by the papacy and by its critics, who sometimes posted satirical or contemptuous notices at the same sites. The posting of notices in Renaissance Rome was a bureaucratic practice that had strong ritualistic overtones, was often highly politicized, and therefore could easily be subverted by critics of the regime.

This study aims to analyze the significant influence between the implementation of the Complete Systematic Land Registration policy on Land Order in the City of Bontang through the implementation of the PTSL policy, which is measured from the aspect approach: communication; resource; disposition; and bureaucratic structure. This research uses a quantitative method approach. The results showed that the implementation of the Systematic Complete Land Registration policy in the City of Bontang; well implemented in the aspects of communication, availability of resources, disposition, implementing policies, and aspects of the bureaucratic structure. The implementation of the Systematic Complete Land Registration policy in the City of Bontang has a positive impact on the creation of an orderly land law, seen from the decreasing number of land disputes and increased awareness of the people of the City of Bontang of the importance of an orderly land. Throughout history, cities have incorporated into their urban context a significant influence of migratory currents. Among Brazilian cities, Rio best reflected racial and cultural miscegenation in welcoming foreign migrants from other states in search of work. The lack of working-class resources led her to occupy hills, river banks, and other vacant areas of the city to raise her dwelling. Living in communities without urbanization and basic sanitation reveals the contempt of the public power towards the poorest sections of the population. This article aims to reflect on this and other issues related to urban development in Rio to level the quality of life in the city.

The phenomenon that occurs in Bima City today is the excessive purchase of goods, and there is no benefit. Their goal is to buy only to get satisfaction. Bima people choose to buy clothes only to be exhibited on social media and get recognition from others because of  trends. This research is new research, research on fashion trends that are always changing every year and fashion trends are still minimal researchers who study them, and researchers also add a hedonic lifestyle of the people of the City of Bima. This research uses a quantitative approach with 96 respondents. The contradiction coefficient results show a strong relationship between Fashion Trend and Hedonic Lifestyle Purchase Decisions. Hedonist Fashion and Lifestyle partially has a positive and significant influence on the purchase results, while the Hedonist Fashion and Lifestyle trend has a positive and significant effect on purchases

This study aims to find out and describe the implementation of garden management policies in the City of Palangka Raya through Regional Regulation No. 03 of 2006 in order to create useful gardening conditions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In this case, the researcher wants to describe and also explain the phenomena that occur related to gardening problems that are still lacking in management. The primary data source of this research is the people of the City of Palangka Raya and the Office of Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Housing. The results of this study address this shows that there is still low awareness and willingness of the community to participate together in maintaining and managing parks. In addition, the communication, supervision and human resources factors that are owned by the related Office as the implementation of the policy to the public is felt to have not run optimally

April 17, 2019 has passed with every story, the election is a democratic process to elect the President and Vice President 2019-2024, this election is held simultaneously with the legislative general election. In this 2019 election. Are the steps and actions of the Samarinda City Election Commission team carrying out education and outreach to the public about the urgency of awareness of choosing a trustworthy central and regional leader for the next 5 years. Either through conventional media or social media that is currently being used by young people in the city of Samarinda, because it is undeniable that the number of beginner voters has a not small quota. Besides that, it also discusses how the communication of the political participation of the people of Samarinda City in following and enlivening the 2019 Election. Political participation is to take part or take part in state political activities or activities. In determining the selection of informants can use purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling technique is to determine the sample with certain considerations that can provide maximum data and subjects / objects according to the purpose. Pada Pemilu tahun 2019 ini. Apakah langkah-langkah dan sepak terjang tim Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Samarinda telah melaksanakan edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang urgensi kesadaran memilih pemimpin pusat dan daerah yang amanah untuk 5 tahun ke depan. Baik melalui media konvensional ataupun media sosial yang marak saat ini dipergunakan oleh pemuda di kota Samarinda, karena tidak dipungkiri bahwa jumlah pemilih pemula memiliki kuota yang tidak sedikit. Selain itu membahas pula bagaimana komunikasi partisipasi politik masyarakat Kota Samarinda dalam mengikuti dan memeriahkan Pemilu 2019 ini.  Partisipasi politik adalah mengambil bagian atau mengambil peranan dalam aktivitas atau kegiatan politik negara. Dalam penentuan pemilihan informan dapat menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling.Teknik purposive sampling adalah menentukan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu yang dapat memberikan data secara maksimal serta subjek/objek sesuai tujuan. KPU Kota Samarinda bisa dikatakan, dapat dipercaya dan memiliki daya tarik, maka diharapkan sebagai sumber/komunikator dapat mengenali dengan baik dan memiliki pengetahuan akan komunikan yang dihadapinya dalam kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi politik pada Pemilu 2019. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Gontoran Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Pemilihan Kabupaten Lombok Barat karena dekat dengan Wilayah Kota Mataram yang memiliki tingkat infeksi Covid-19 tertinggi di wilayah NTB. Lombok barat berada pada peringkat 2 setelah Kota Mataram. Angka ini terus meningkat jika tidak ada kesadaran dari masyarakat untuk mengikuti himbauan pemerintah. Desa Gontoran adalah jalur perekonomian wilayah kecamatan lingsar, sehingga banayak masyarakat melewati Desa Gontoran menuju Pasar Mandalika, sehingga alat semprot disinfektan sangat dibutuhkan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberi kemudahan kepada masyarakat agar dapat melakukan penyemprotan secara otomatis agar tidak terlalu banyak tenaga yang dibutuhkan karena Desa Gontoran merupakan jalur ramai menuju pasar Mandalika untuk memasarkan hasil pertanian dan perkebunan masyarakat kecamatan Lingsar. Metode yang digunakan adalah membuat modul dan membuat langsung alat semprot bersama masyarakat Desa Gontoran dengan memanfaatkan pengetahuan elektronika di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika. Hasil pengabdian berupa modul pembuatan gerbang disinfektan dan produk gerbang otomatis disinfektan desa Gontoran. Kata kunci: alat semprot disinfektan otomatis; covid-19. ABSTRACTCommunity service activities are carried out in Gontoran Village, West Lombok Regency, West Lombok Regency Election because it is close to the Mataram City Region which has the highest Covid-19 infection rate in the NTB region. West Lombok is ranked 2 after the City of Mataram. This number continues to increase if there is no awareness from the public to follow the government's call. Gontoran Village is an economic route for the lingsar sub-district area, so that many people pass through Gontoran Village to the Mandalika Market, so that disinfectant spray equipment is needed. This service is done to make it easier for the community to spray automatically so that not too much energy is needed because Gontoran Village is a busy route to the Mandalika market to market the agricultural and plantation products of the Lingsar district community. The method used is to make modules and make a spray device directly with the people of Gontoran Village by utilizing electronic knowledge in the Physics Education Study Program. The results of the service are in the form of making disinfectant gate modules and automatic gate disinfectant gate products in Gontoran village. Keywords: automatic disinfectant sprayer;covid-19.

The aim of our study was to investigate for the presence of total and fecal coliforms on the hand contact surface of the public household waste bins placed near the blocks of flats. The samples were taken from five different areas of the city of Timişoara. According to the Order no. 119/2014, for the aproval of Hygiene and public health standards regarding the population’s living environment, this waste bins should be maintained clean by periodically washing and, concidering that they serve for the temporary storage of household and food wastes, fecal coliforms are supposed to be absent from these surfaces.From a total of 100 analyzed samples, 27% were positive for total coliforms and 6% for fecal coliforms. Only the samples taken from a single area were all negative for fecal coliforms. In the other three areas, we found 16% and twice 4% positive samples.Analyzing the results, it can be assumed that the contact surface of these household waste bins might be a possible source of contamination with intestinal pathogens, for the people handling them.

This chapter explores the public opinion strategies adopted by Buenos Aires police in the context of a deep crisis of consensus in the 1920s and 1930s regarding their right to use force. In so doing, it tackles a question transcending this case: how can police forces act as the guardians of a social order they themselves might perceive as unjust, and still earn the respect of those who suffer from its injustice? The answer lies within the process of the symbolic construction of an idealized police officer, one able to remain connected with those he claims to protect. In this case, the connection between the police and the people was woven using fiction, mass media, and other key elements of popular culture.
