Modeling the business processes of the organization is an integral part of the work to optimize the activities of the institution. In this paper a brief descriptive characteristic of the area under consideration is given and a list of processes to be automated is formed, which was identified based on the results of a study of the work of a preschool educational institution. The first process under study is the process of setting the tasks of the head to educators and other kindergarten workers and subsequent control over their implementation. The next process was the process of conduct-ing a survey of teachers in the framework of informal internal assessments of the institution using testing tools. These processes were modeled «As Is» to clarify the weaknesses of the solutions used, and then options for their optimization were proposed as part of the design of an information and methodological system for preschool institutions. The main purpose of such a system is to automate the informal administrative processes of the kindergarten. The result of the work is the modeled «To Be» business processes, which involve the use of modern information tools. The proposed solution can be used both within the framework of independent means and within the framework of separate modules of the information system.

Modern information system environments generally contain complex computing infrastructure often mapping business processes to people and data. Data manipulation to summarize and report meaningful information is commonplace, although some of these systems and techniques have not been extensively exploited within developing countries. Even in developed economies, where resources and experience are abundant and accessible, the process for moving from information management to knowledge management is not well understood and therefore remains a challenge. In this study, a comprehensive process model that guides the transitioning of an existing information system to a knowledge management system is developed and evaluated. The results indicate that the model sufficiently represents and organizes the activities to be carried out to meet the desired outcome of converting an existing information system into a knowledge management system.

Cloud computing technology allows a service to be accessed from anywhere and anytime through the internet network, this technology can be utilized for organisations to encourage standardisation of business processes for all business units. Muhammadyah as one of the largest education institution in Indonesia currently operates more than 5000 schools from elementary to high school. In general, all schools have similar business processes that are run manually and have almost identical information system requirements. This condition causes no data structure standardisation, no data consolidation between one school and another and the inconsistency of information system development. These problems become the rationale for designing an information technology architecture model using the concept of cloud computing. Based on the results of the analysis on current conditions and using the chosen TOGAF framework, a cloud computing-based information technology architecture model is produced. The information technology architecture consists of vision architecture, business architecture, application architecture, data architecture and technology architecture. Research is expected to contribute to educational institution in Indonesia, especially as a reference in designing information technology architecture.

The research goal is to identify and analyze the need of accounting information system related to the revenue cycle at PT XYZ. This paper designing the useful of accounting information systems to support the current business processes, especially on the revenue cycle process. The design method is an Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) which refers to the modeling and design requirements discipline. And the result achieved by analysis and design of accounting information systems can support current activities of the revenue cycle, especially for the documentation and store of transaction data, and generate reports in accordance with company requirements. Conclusions derived from the analysis and design is the implementation of a webbased application that can help PT XYZ to do the work in different places, such as marketing office, head office and especially at the exhibition. Index Terms - Accounting Information System, revenue cycle, OOAD

The main focus when improving business processes is on the analysis of material flow. Thorough analysis of the information flow and associated information systems is still undervalued. Working with inaccurate and/or obsolete data leads to incorrect outputs that negatively affect the entire control process. Analysis of the state of material has to go hand in hand with the information analysis. A mini audit of the information flow and information system can be carried out, which follows the classic principles of VSM (Value stream mapping), in order to make an initial analysis of the information flow and information system. Information about the current state of the process together with a measure how well it is represented by the model in the information system can be obtained thanks to this mini-audit. This article focuses on this mini-audit and briefly describes the auditing process. The details of how to create VSM maps is discussed with the main focus on an information flow where the key elements are the inputs and the outputs of the job orders for planning and production management. Attention is also focused on the form of delays in discrete-event recording in the production process which appear in the information system.
