Too broad understanding of the term stress, which Selye himself and his followers used in their popular science works, reduces its scientific value. Based on a brief analysis of examples of the ambiguity of the term stress, it is proposed to restore its research significance. For that, the concept of stress should be used more strictly and unequivocally and it would not be allowed to use a commonly broad understanding the term in scientific papers. In the frame of earlier Selyes stress definition, it suggests a more detailed structuring of the term based on levels of studying of living objects, including genetic.

The article is devoted to the study of the state and trends of the publishing activity of Ukrainian scientists and leading countries in the field of life sciences («Life sciences»). The Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC), Journal Citation Report (JSR) and InCites, as well as classifications of scientific fields designed to structure the publication flow of scientific papers and journals in these information resources, are used for the research base – Web of Science Categories and Research Areas. The article presents the results of the author’s research on the publication indices of scientists of Ukraine and the leading countries of the world for the period 2008-2018 in the field of “Life Sciences” according to the international science-computer database of Web of Science. Conclusions about the growth of indicators of publication activity of scientific works in the field of “Life Sciences” are made. The tendency of a significant increase in their number in Ukraine has been revealed, but domestic studies do not represent all the areas of «Life Sciences» most popular in foreign scientists

The article examines and analyzes 10 of the 1,500 most commonly used French idioms from the site "Les expressions françaises décortiquées". Phraseological picture of the world plays an important role in cognition of the world around us, because it not only captures its phenomena in the language, but also adds to them connotations, which are manifested in the choice of words of a particular language register. The study of hierarchies of values, recorded in idioms, and ways of their representation allow us to build a value hierarchy in the French mentality and understand the main features of the French national character. We have a broad understanding of phraseology and consider idioms not only idioms, but also phraseological units, proverbs, sayings, winged expressions, speech stamps, because they all name a concept, are reproduced unchanged, and are stable phrases. The phraseological units, taken into the analysis, are allocated on frequency of addresses that allows to define a hierarchy of values in the French phraseological picture of the world. Each of the permanent statements, taken into the analysis, nominates one concept, and the frequency of appeals to them allows not only to understand their priority in the French mentality, but also to outline the features of the French national character. French national values are fixed in the selected phraseological units, and the relation to them is distinguished on the basis of connotations, the register of speech, the present euphemism, and metaphorization. It is interesting to trace the history of the considered phraseological units and lexical units in their structure, ways of entering the French language, numerous hypotheses that explain their meaning. These areas of research and identification of social strata, in which the idioms arose, show where the phenomena denominated by them were the most common, and the hierarchy of values recorded in them, in the French mentality.

SummaryThe research aimed to evaluate suitability of Bitcoin and its platform in emerging markets such as Vietnam. We used qualitative analysis combined with data collection method published, statistics, analysis, synthesis, comparison, to generate qualitative comments and discussion; evaluate results, the article analyzed and evaluated the impacts of Bitcoin and virtual currency on society of Vietnam, both positive and negative sides. It was found that virtual currency not accepted in Vietnam as means of payment yet, while many nations in the world accept it. We need to complete the legal framework for virtual currencies in general, Bitcoin in particular. The State should continue to have policies to improve information technology infrastructure, build and improve the capacity of the contingent of financial experts, encryption, and security experts and give warning risks in virtual currency transactions. The scientific value of paper is using experiences from previous studies in other countries to generate recommendations for conditions of Bitcoin development in merging markets. Last but not least, the research was limited to the case of Vietnam; hence, we can expand research to other Asian countries or other emerging markets.

Russia is the largest country in the world and occupies one of the leading places on the planet in terms of natural resources, but the bulk of deposits were explored to some extent more than a quarter of a century ago, back in the Soviet era. Due to the changes in the sources of financing for the reproduction of mineral resources and geological exploration of the subsurface, qualitative and quantitative indicators are reduced by an order of magnitude, which leads to greater risks in the development of mineral deposits. Even despite the large number of scientific papers, the economic situation forces us to search for more modern and multi-parametric methods for evaluating the efficiency of mining. The article considers the main economic methods for evaluating the efficiency of mining, determines their essence and application features. On the basis of conducted analysis, disadvantages and advantages of using the studied methods were identified, and the author's interpretation of the economic assessment of efficiency of mining resources was given.

Therefore, it is aimed at grasping the knowledge of sport tourism from those studies: its nature, scope, significance, concepts, theories, approaches, models, perspectives and paradigms. This paper is intended to provide a broad understanding of sport tourism and its implications to the people who are involved in the tourism industry. It is believed that activities in sport and tourism build social capital by bringing people together and establishing their relationship. In this way they are making the world a smaller place contributing to greater understanding between different cultures, tolerance and ultimately, to world peace with a focus on adventure sport tourism. The study of sport tourism is equally important in the context of Nepal because it is one of the popular destinations for adventure sport tourists and tourism. This paper discusses on water sport in terms of whitewater river rafting tourism in the context of Nepal, which is still ignored and untouched in the field of academia. The Gaze: Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Vol.5 2013 pp.13-42

This paper suggests a simulation model to investigate how science and technology fuel economic growth. This model is built upon a synthesis of technological capabilities represented by national innovation systems. This paper gathers data of papers and patents for 183 countries between 1999 and 2003, as well as GDP and population for 2003. These data show a strong correlation between science, technology and income. Three simulation exercises are performed. Feeding our algorithm with data for population, patents and scientific papers, we obtain the world income distribution. These results support our conjecture on the role of science and technology as sources of the wealth of nations.
