This paper examines a new approach to defining digital ecosystems. Within the digital economy of ecosystems, competition is eliminated, and organizations form unions and alliances in order to work together and cooperate to reach a set goal. This means a digital ecosystem can be viewed as a complex environment in which organizations without any hard ties operate. Digital ecosystems differ from traditional ecosystems in many ways. The business organization of the latter is based on management decision making by people. This paper presents theoretical foundations for developing digital ecosystems based on a literary review. Based on the logic of scientific search using the keywords “ecosystem” and “biological ecosystem”, the commonality of the properties of the digital ecosystem and the biological ecosystem is shown. The aim of the study is to identify common characteristics in biological, economic and digital ecosystems in order to substantiate the possibility of using the same approaches for research and modeling of such systems. A definition of a digital ecosystem is proposed by the authors which points out the main features of this kind of system and highlights the dominant role of modern digital technologies in the formation of the digital ecosystem. The paper looks at the distinctive features of digital ecosystems and characteristics similar to the characteristics of biological ecosystems, such as ecosystem participants, presence of limiting impacts, lack of vertical hierarchical communication. The developed model can be used to model digital ecosystems. The authors believe that the emergence of a trend in the transformation of ecosystems in the direction of expanding the collaboration of economic agents is reasonable. At the same time, digitalization helps to replace competition with collaboration. The paper finishes with a discussion of the obtained results and a plan for further research.

Selain itu diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola perpustakaan yang lainnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada pemustaka khususnya peneliti.ABSTRACTThe Bibliography is very important for  researchers in particular those at the Marine and Fisheries for   Socio-Economic Research Center. The purpose of writing this paper is to give an illustration of  the importance of the bibliography  to support  the task of researchers. It describes   the definition of  bibliogra-phy, the   types of bibliographic, as well as the role of  bibliography for  researchers. Researchers need to understand bibliography in order to  show other researchers the research activities that have been and will be conducted.  Another function of the bibliography is as a part  of the library services to the patrons/users. By publishing a bibliography, librarians  can offer  their  collection to the users without having to  displaytheir entire collection, and they can also  reach those who are in remote places away from the library. Therefore, the bibliography can be  used  as a reference material to the library collection as well as a reference for other  library managers in  improving the quality of their service to the patrons especially researchers

The article features project method in teaching Russian as a foreign language to students of Iranian universities. The research objective was to study the opinions of teaching staff (13 interviewees). The research was based on the project theory and personality-oriented approach. The survey showed that most teachers consider this method an indicator of professional skill and argue that project activities affect the motivation of teachers and students. Most of them implement project method in their work. However, they also point out the following problems: a lack of time and effort to create and apply pedagogical innovations, as well as a lack of material incentives and support from colleagues; problems associated with the transition from the role of a mentor to the role of a consultant; difficulties in applying research and creative methods. The results can be used to teach Russian to Iranian university students.

AbstractSocial groups in Honduras played a key role in regional developments betweena.d.800 and 1100, acting as the pivot in long-distance networks extending west as far as Tula, north to Chichen Itza, and south to Costa Rica. Understanding the role of Honduran settlements at this time has been obstructed by the lack of well-dated contexts from this period and the associated uncertainty about the development of the key Honduran ceramic type, Las Vegas Polychrome. This paper offers a definition of the distinctive features that characterize Las Vegas Polychrome, reviewing evidence supporting earlier dates than traditionally suggested for this type, as early as the emergence of any white-slipped polychrome in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It summarizes evidence for a suite of luxuries consumed in conjunction with Las Vegas Polychrome, and points to the products most likely produced in Honduras for exchange with partners who provided these. Finally, the article considers the ideological, social, and political implications of changes in Honduran settlements where the new pottery was used.

In other words, it looks into the characteristics of the role they carry out in their daily routine together with teachers, in order to identify the specific functions and activities, as well as the models and advising strategies used.  For this purpose, a qualitative investigation is developed, choosing case study among other possible designs, since it allows an approximation to the real context of the educational centers, in which school counselors play an important role. Three cases have been analyzed, each one with its own profile and distinctive features, by adopting criterion such as academic education, features of the center, seniority and model of work. By using semi-structured interviews (individual ones for counselors and group ones for the teaching staff), a content analysis is carried out. The results show that these professionals increasingly assume more counseling functions, although complementary to other functions of a more deep-rooted nature, such as psycho-pedagogical assessment. Other results reflect the existing heterogeneity of demands and performances in the studied cases and that the styles or intervention models are diverse. The conclusions affect the identity of the role of school counselors and, to a large extent, the contextual features determine the style or model of work, which may be interventionist, facilitator or collaborative.

Civil society organisations in East Jerusalem play a crucial role in protecting Palestinian cultural heritage in the Old City of Jerusalem by providing grassroots support and enhancing the steadfastness of East Jerusalem's Palestinian residents. In critically engaging with the Palestine National Authority's (PNA's) definition of the role of culture, this article seeks to provide the first comprehensive assessment of this civil society mobilisation. After breaking new ground by demonstrating how Jerusalemite university students perceive Palestinian identity, it concludes by asserting that the forging of an active collaboration between the PNA, Jerusalemite students and minority communities could bolster the frontline defense of vulnerable cultural heritage against further Zionist remodeling of Jerusalem's ‘one giant house’. The proactive role of university students demands that teaching staff engage in attempts at motivating students to make greater efforts at building knowledge by providing them with resources that facilitate learning. This paper provides details of a study that has involved designing and building Learning Objects (LOs) for Architectural Graphic Expression and inserting them into a university degree as a teaching aid to study their influence on student motivation. Findings show that the use of LOs in Architectural Graphic Expression produces significant improvement in students’ intrinsic goal orientation, which is fundamental to the development of deeper learning.

Abstract This research aims to answer the question if e-commerce favoured in a special way the growth of low-cost carriers within the civil aviation market. After defining low-cost and traditional carriers’ business models, data on transported passengers were collected for three countries (Italy, Germany and Spain) and confronted with the number of e-consumers. Despite a significant correlation in all the three markets, only in Italy our hypothesis has been supported by Granger causality, and the regression analysis allows to forecast a future characterized by a growing dominance of LCCs. Although the definition of an econometric model will require further studies, the distinctive features of the Italian market might represent a starting point for future research on the complex relationship between e-commerce and air transport.

The article examines the main features of various forms and methods of organizing the independent work of university students. The opinion is substantiated that independent work, aimed at mastering the acquired knowledge and skills, allows students to fully understand the nature of the work performed and organize their own activities. In the context of the implementation of distance learning in higher education, the goals and functions of independent work of students have been revised, the role of which in the educational process is significantly increasing. In the course of the study to identify the importance of independent work of university students, results were obtained that allow one to draw some conclusions, for example, active independent work is possible only if there are motivating factors: student involvement in research activities, intensive pedagogy, individualization of tasks and the personality of the teacher.

The aim of the article is to present the views of a classic forensic scientist prof. zw. dr hab. Tadeusz Hanausek, the founder of Cracow school of forensic science, who has shaped the Polish foundations of forensic tactics, which is currently one of the disciplines of forensic science. The presentation of professor Hanausek has been reflected in the implementation of his dogmatic point of view in the practice of law enforcement agencies and the justice system both during his life and after his death. Professor Tadeusz Hanausek determined the reasons for the initial underestimation of the role of forensic tactics despite the acceptance of this term, built a definition of forensic tactics and developed scientific research that allowed him to indicate a growing role of forensic tactics in the implementation of the functions of forensic science and the criminal procedure. The article presents the fundamental issues of Tadeusz Hanausek’s creative scientific interests, which he first defined and then consistently pursued and developed in his scientific and research activities. The pioneering scientific and research issues in question were passed on by professor Tadeusz Hanausek to the representatives of his Cracow school of forensic tactics and then developed, presented and widely discussed on the national, European and international forum. The subject matter of the article is also focused on the examples of practical application of the professor’s ideas in an effective detection of perpetrators of crime. In addition, the publication is based on the research findings of the judicial and prosecutorial records of one of the authors of this article, who is an active representative, popularizer and, above all, a continuator of professor Hanausek’s Cracow school of forensic tactics.
