Adolescente Infrator: em Conflito com a Educação

Este trabalho consiste em um estudo exploratório e descritivo que procura esclarecer - através da revisão da literatura nacional - a vinculação ou não do jovem infrator com a educação e o quanto a realidade encontrada está em sintonia com o atual Sistema Nacional de Atendimento Socioeducativo (SINASE). Nos capítulos iniciais, procura-se contextualizar a história brasileira de atenção à infância e juventude, a atual política socioeducativa e o contexto sociofamiliar em torno do público estudado. Quanto aos resultados, os estudos nacionais evidenciam a desvinculação do jovem infrator com a escola, fenômeno multideterminado por fatores individuais, familiares, institucionais e por falhas na própria execução das medidas socioeducativas. Conclui-se que, apesar da educação figurar entre os fatores de proteção à conduta delinquente e de todas as diretrizes nacionais acerca da relevância da intersetorialidade para o alcance dos objetivos da socioeducação, é imperioso mais investimento em capacitações junto aos atores das políticas educacionais e do SINASE com a finalidade de adequado cumprimento do disposto nas normativas legais.Palavras-chave: Medida socioeducativa. Intersetorialidade.AbstractThis work consists of an exploratory and descriptive study that aims to clarify - through the review of the national literature - the binding or not the young offender with education and how the reality found is in tune with the current National System of Socioeducational Service (SINASE). In the initial chapters, it is aimed to contextualize the Brazilian history of attention to childhood and youth, the current educational policy and the sociofamiliar context around the studied public. Regarding the results, national studies show the untying of the young offender with school, a multidetermined phenomenon by individual, family, institutional factors and by failures in their own implementation of socio-educational measures. It is concluded that, in spite of education among the protective factors to criminal conduct and all national guidelines about the importance of intersectoral action for the attainment of the Socioeducation objectives, it is imperative that more investment in training with the educational policies actors and SINASE with the purpose of adequate compliance with the legal regulations provisions.Keywords: Socio-Educative Measure. Abstract This biographical essay is designed to give a survey of Constantin Brunnerʼs early years, from his childhood and youth until the end of his student days, based on the available letters, manuscripts and published writings. A major focus is on Brunnerʼs intellectual development from protected child, spiritually shaped by Jewish orthodoxy, to aspiring religious scholar and finally to the secular philosopher known today. The article is therefore a contribution to a range of research topics: to the field of German-Jewish biography during the period of the German Empire; but also to the history of ideas, particularly in relation to the secularization of religious minorities. It also touches upon developments inside the Jewish community: the way different intellectual and religious currents are related to each other, the informal networks between Jewish intellectuals and how national (German or Jewish) identity is related to the Jewish self-image.

AbstractThis review reports the Brazilian history in astrobiology, as well as the first delineation of a vision of the future development of the field in the country, exploring its abundant biodiversity, highly capable human resources and state-of-the-art facilities, reflecting the last few years of stable governmental investments in science, technology and education, all conditions providing good perspectives on continued and steadily growing funding for astrobiology-related research. Brazil is growing steadily and fast in terms of its worldwide economic power, an effect being reflected in different areas of the Brazilian society, including industry, technology, education, social care and scientific production. In the field of astrobiology, the country has had some important landmarks, more intensely after the First Brazilian Workshop on Astrobiology in 2006. The history of astrobiology in Brazil, however, is not so recent and had its first occurrence in 1958. Since then, researchers carried out many individual initiatives across the country in astrobiology-related fields, resulting in an ever growing and expressive scientific production. The number of publications, including articles and theses, has particularly increased in the last decade, but still counting with the effort of researchers working individually. That scenario started to change in 2009, when a formal group of Brazilian researchers working with astrobiology was organized, aiming at congregating the scientific community interested in the subject and to promote the necessary interactions to achieve a multidisciplinary work, receiving facilities and funding from the University de Sao Paulo and other funding agencies.

The following article critically deals with Mihai Iovănel's Istoria literaturii române contemporane. 1990-2020 [The History of Contemporary Romanian Literature. 1990-2020] (Polirom, 2021) from three different, yet intertwined, perspectives, namely 1) the methodological turn, highlighted by an overt post-Marxist attempt at interpreting contemporary Romanian literature, 2) the question of what is - or if there is any - literariness in Istoria literaturii române contemporane. 1990-2020, 3) the issue of transcending normative aesthetics into post-aestheticism as a last resort or perhaps as a new dead-end. Finally, the ideological threshold that divides - or rather emphasis - local national literature as substantially distinct from global literature will be tentatively broached.

Background. Allergy nurses are exposed to allergens and respiratory irritants, and there are no national guidelines addressing personnel safety when working with these agents. Objective. To investigate the prevalence of allergies, asthma, and hypersensitivity symptoms among allergy nurses and the use of protective equipment and measures when working with allergen concentrates and respiratory irritants. Methods. A questionnaire survey was performed among the members of the Swedish Association of Allergy Nurses. Results. Diagnosed asthma was reported by 17%, while 18% had allergy to pets, 28% had allergy to pollens, and 26% reported nasal symptoms. Fifty-one percent reported a history of asthma, allergic diseases, or hypersensitivity symptoms in their family. Exhaust ventilation was used by 24% during skin prick tests, 17% during allergen specific immunotherapy, and 33% when performing methacholine challenge tests. Tightly closed containers for disposable waste were used by 58% during skin prick tests, by 60% during immunotherapy, and by 40% during Pc provocation tests. Conclusion. Allergy nurses had a tendency to increased prevalence of lower respiratory symptoms, asthma, and allergic rhinitis and more than half of the nurses had a family history of asthma, allergic diseases, or hypersensitivity symptoms. Additional studies are needed to evaluate the validity of these results.

This article will stretch the boundaries of the interdisciplinary lens to consider the history of and current potential for the arts to enhance, advance, and amplify individual, family, and community social change goals of the social work profession. To begin, consider the following questions: What would inspire artists and social workers to intentionally work together to reveal new strengths, energy, and capacity in the areas we care about? What do the arts have to teach the profession of social work and vice versa? How have the arts already played a role in the profession, and what has impaired social work’s ability to make greater use of the strengths associated with the arts? How have other professions (public health, psychology, education, and others) incorporated partnerships with the arts? This article concludes with a call to action to advance the potential of the arts in coordination with social work and related disciplines.

Forming national identity is placed on top of the seven aspects of High-Impact Educational Practices (HIEPs) in Northern Border University. Similarly, the concept of academic awareness to national literature has been one of the main challenges to national literature in the Middle East. Just as the strong presence of national identity in Saudi’s 2030 vision has initiated re-evaluations of how national identity is shaped, Saudi novel has similar concerns that inform social constructs of national identity through overarching themes and comprehensive representations of cultural issues. This study investigates the ways in which two Saudi novelists interrogate the intertwined issues shared by 2030 vision and national novel which address the archetypal Saudi identity: first, that the construction of modern identity requires much cultural openness with the world; second, that construction of Saudi identity needs exclusion of otherness; and third, that national identity depends on the rich history of two historical regions – Najd and Hijaz - that binds identity to a unified territory. The study focuses on how these novels give visibility to issues that are at the core of 2030 vision’s social and cultural aspect such as life style, appearance behaviours, attitudes, accepting differences and willingness to work and volunteer. Drawing on this narrative analysis, the study advocates for the utility of introducing national novel for undergraduate students to help them perceive identity as a position and support their identity enactment.

The article examines the research of famous Ukrainian scientist Yuri Shevelov developing Ukrainian studies associations in period of emigration after World War II, when Ukrainian novelists were united in Ukrainian Аrt Movement (1945-1948). The attention is focused on those meetings which have been arranged by Shevelov and his confederates for the unification of different segments of Ukrainian creative intelligentsia in difficult conditions that were caused by emigration from the motherland. During those years, the scientist was considering questions among the important problems of Ukrainian studies about originality of Ukrainian literature, emigration purpose, provinciality and the methods of its overcoming. It is proved that the concept of national organic style, as a constant of Ukrainian literary and artistic life, was extremely important in the scientist's views. Yuri Shevelov made its main provisions like one of the leading ideologists of Ukrainian Аrt Movement during the existence of this association. The original idea of national organic style had caused the rejection from some part of Ukrainian emigrants and led to a boisterous discussion where there were considered important questions about Ukrainian originality of national literature and its place in European and world culture. The article highlights the essence of discrepancy of views on national organic style between Yuri Shevelov and his opponents. The most famous of them was Volodymyr Derzhavin. There is an emphasis that Ukrainian Аrt Movement went beyond just literature organization due to Shevelov's efforts. It had opened not only a grand literature, but even publishing and research activities and became an important branch in the history of Ukrainian literature in a relatively short period of time.

A história da cidade de São Paulo e do Brasil é uma história de desaparecimentos e esquecimentos, de resistências e lutas pela sobrevivência física e cultural, de transformações e adaptações. Arar a memória dos destinatários e dos agentes da primeira evangelização, por ocasião dos 450 anos da “conversão do Brasil”, é uma tarefa instigante, sobretudo no contexto histórico de hoje, onde a pergunta sobre a possibilidade de um outro mundo é ao mesmo tempo uma pergunta sobre a relevância da evangelização. A comemoração da fundação da “Casa de Piratininga”, um pobre colégio que se tornou megalópole, tem a tarefa de religar o conhecimento histórico ao reconhecimento contemporâneo do outro. O Autor, missiólogo e historiador, por muitos anos ligado à causa indígena no país e no continente latino-americano, conduz o leitor pela cristandade do Brasil e pela diversidade étnica da Província de São Vicente. Dois eixos da evangelização ganham destaque: a questão da comunicação num contexto lingüístico plural e a questão da violência e da força diante da proposta evangélica de gratuidade e paz.Abstract: The history of the city of São Paulo and Brazilian history, in general, are full of disappearances and omissions, of resistance and struggles for physical and cultural survival, of transformations and adaptations. On the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the “conversion of Brazil”, to trace the memories of both addressees and agents of the first evangelization is a stimulating task, particularly in today’s historical context, where the question about the possibility of another world is, at the same time, a question about the relevance of evangelization. The celebration of the foundation of the “Casa de Piratininga”, an ordinary school that became a megalopolis, seeks to reconnect historical knowledge to the contemporary recognition of the Other. The Author – a missiologist and historian that, for many years, has been connected with the Indian cause in this country and in the Latin-American continent – guides the reader through the Christendom in Brazil and through the ethnical diversity in the Province of São Vicente. He focuses, in particular, on two axles of the evangelization: the issue of communication in a plural linguistic context and the issue of violence and coercion in the face of the evangelical proposal of graciousness and peace.

The topics of gender and sexuality in Brazilian historiography, though available from colonial chroniclers to the present, were notably absent in 19th-century historiography, which was constrained by the moral taboos and racial prejudices of that age. This was true until the early 20th-century turning point represented by the works of Paulo Prado with regard to language, and of Gilberto Freyre with regard to content, in their pioneering attempts to address the issue, emphasizing how interracial procreation and sexual desires shaped Brazilian history. Historical research at universities began in the 1980s, based on unpublished sources and international scholarship on new topics. This resulted in studies on marital relations, misogynist patriarchalism, accepted models of licit sexuality, and various other transgressions such as adultery, concubinage, male and female homosexuality, sexual imagery, libidinous behavior by members of the clergy, and acts considered deviant behavior or associated with heresy. Recently, sources have come into use from the Ecclesiastical Court and the Portuguese Inquisition, which assumed jurisdiction over accusations of bigamy, sodomy, priests who took advantage of the confessional to molest their parishioners, and declarations that contradicted Catholic moral theology with regard to chastity, celibacy, and fornication or were suspected of being heretical due to their association with Protestant doctrines. Additionally, there are important works inspired by French scholarship on the history of mentalities and the historical and philosophical contributions of Michel Foucault.
