<p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The aim of research was to determine the need for multimedia based on Problem Based Learning in biological matter. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method used is in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). Questionnaires were given to 67 students of SMAN 1 Way Jepara in August 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results indicates that 67.2% of students stated that the material immune system was considered the most difficult, 93.3% of students wanted the development of new learning media, 54% of students wanted interactive multimedia. The conclusion of this study is that it is necessary to develop learning media in the form of interactive multimedia based on Problem Based Learning in the XI class immune system material.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis <em>Problem Based Learning</em> pada materi Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan berupa angket (kuesioner). Angket diberikan kepada 67 siswa SMAN 1 Way Jepara Agustus 2017. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 67,2% siswa menyatakan bahwa sistem imun materi yang dianggap paling sulit, 93,3% siswa menginginkan adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran baru, 54% siswa menginginkan multimedia interkatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa multimedia interaktif berbasis <em>Problem Based Learning</em> materi sistem imun kelas XI.

As good citizens, when we gather among fellow language users who have different regional languages, we must always use Indonesian as a language of unity. This study aims to describe how the language behavior between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative and how the language behavior barriers between Buton and Buru tribe employees at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative in Namlea Buru Maluku Regency. This qualitative descriptive study examines linguistic phenomena. The data source in this study is the utterances used between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe in the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative which contains the regional languages of the two tribes. The method of data collection is done through non-participant observation. While the technique of data collection is done through the technique of referring to skillful engagements, recording techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data that has been classified is then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study revealed that the language behavior between the employees of the Buton tribe and the Buru tribe at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative was initially not very good considering they communicated with each other in their respective languages but over time this could be overcome so that between the Buton tribes and the Buru tribe cooperated well. Subsequent findings of language barriers between Buton and Buru tribes employees at the Buru Jazirah Namlea Multipurpose Cooperative influenced their respective regional languages, between the two tribes unable to understand each other because the two tribes used their respective regional languages. when interacting.  Sebagai warga negara yang baik, ketika kita berkumpul antara sesama pengguna bahasa yang saling berbeda bahasa daerah, kita harus selalu menggunakan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa persatuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea dan bagaimana hambatan-hambatan perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea di Namlea Kabupaten Buru, Maluku. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini mengkaji tentang fenomena kebahasaan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan-tuturan yang digunakan antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea yang mengandung bahasa daerah kedua suku tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi nonpartisipasi. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Data yang sudah diklasifikasi kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif.            Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea pada awalnya kurang begitu baik mengingat mereka saling berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan bahasa daerah masing-masing, namun seiring dengan berjalannya waktu hal tersebut bisa teratasi sehingga antara suku Buton dan suku Buru terjalin kerja sama dengan baik. Temuan berikutnya hambatan-hambatan  yang terjadi dalam perilaku berbahasa antara karyawan suku Buton dan suku Buru di Koperasi Serba Usaha Buru Jazirah Namlea yaitu pengaruh bahasa daerah masing-masing antara kedua suku tersebut tidak bisa saling memahami karena kedua suku tersebut menggunakan bahasa daerah mereka masing-masing ketika berinteraksi.

Suppression activities on large wildfires are complicated. Existing suppression literature does not take into account this complexity which leaves existing suppression models and measures of resource productivity incomplete. A qualitative descriptive analysis was performed on the suppression activities described in operational documents of 10 large wildfires in Victoria, Australia. A five-stage classification system summarises suppression in the everyday terms of wildfire management. Suppression can be heterogeneous across different sectors with different stages occurring across sectors on the same day. The stages and the underlying 20 suppression tasks identified provide a fundamental description of how suppression resources are being used on large wildfires. We estimate that at least 57% of resource use on our sample of 10 large wildfires falls outside of current suppression modelling and productivity research.

Globally, students have long familiarized with utilizng a presentation program from Microsoft named Powerpoint, this program is good just not enough to attract the attention of students’ creativity. It is necessary a program that can not only be used to display concepts but also be able to attract the attention of students while presenting. The program in question is Focusky, in addition to being easy to use the program is also able to display slides with zoom in-zoom out effect with friendly facilities and object effects galore making this program very suitable used by students in presenting their tasks in front of the class. This study employs a qualitative descriptive study by conducting data collection through books and other literature as the main object.  Descriptive analysis method provides a clear, objective, systematic, analytical and critical picture and description of the application of focusky presentation media to the creative writing of Unuiversity students. Students in general, for example in the Faculty of Literature UMI do not have the same information technology capabilities (evenly) where there are those capable while some who are less in designing presentations. Hence, utilizing focusky will help students who could make creative presentations media to the best of their abilites.  Focusky-based presentation acts as an alternative to support students creativity that is very appropriate to apply to creative writing ideas and motivate students during presentations in higher education setting.

Abstrak: (1) menghasilkan multimedia interaktif pembelajaran yang layak digunakan, mudah dipelajari mahasiswa dan dapat dipakai untuk pembelajaran individual, (2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada mata kuliah Tata Rias Wajah Khusus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan produk Borg dan Gall yang dipadu dengan model pembelajaran Dick dan Carey. Model pengembangan produk pembelajaran ini merupakan model yang disusun secara terprogram dengan urutan yang sistematis dan memenuhi karateristik mahasiswa dalam belajar. Model ini meliputi enam tahapan, yakni: studi literatur, perencanaan atau desain pengembangan, pengembangan produk, validasi ahli, uji coba, revisi, produk akhir. Subjek uji coba terdiri dari dua ahli materi, dua ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli rekayasa perangkat lunak dan desain grafis, tiga mahasiswa untuk uji coba perorangan, sembilan mahasiswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan lima puluh delapan untuk uji coba lapangan. Data tentang kualitas produk pengembangan ini dikumpulkan dengan angket. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kata kunci : Multimedia Interaktif, Pengembangan bahan ajar. Tata rias wajah khusus Abstract: This study aims to: (1) to produce interactive multimedia education proper use, easy to learn students and can be used for individual learning, (2) to assess the effectiveness of the media that was developed in the subject of Face Makeup Special. This type of research is the development of research that uses models Borg and Gall product development combined with Dick and Carey model of education This education product development model is a model that is prepared in a programmed sequence of systematic and meet the characteristics of students in learning. This model includes six stages, namely: literature studies, planning or design development, product development, validation expert, testing, revision, the final product. Subject trial consists of two subject matter experts, two instructional design experts and software engineers and graphic design, three students for individual testing, nine students for small group trial and fifty-eight for field trials. Data about the quality of the products of this development are collected by questionnaire. This study aims to (1) determine the level of students' spatial ability at Van Hiele's level in problem-based learning. (2) to find out the location of the students' difficulties in solving spatial power problems with the Van Hiele level. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMK Bima Utomo Batang Kuis. The object of this research is the spatial ability based on Van Hiele's level in Problem Based Learning. The results of this study indicate that the level of spatial ability in the low category reaches 51.4%, while the medium category reaches 34.3%, and the high category reaches 14.3%. Subjects in the low category experienced skill difficultiesSubject S.01 (low spatial ability), at Level 1 experienced skill difficulties (question number 1) and concept difficulty (question number 4), at Level 2 experienced skill difficulties, at Level 3 and Level 4 experienced difficulty in principle. Subject S.02 (low spatial ability), has difficulty skills at Level 2 and has difficulty in principle at Level 3 and Level 4. Subject S.03 (moderate spatial ability), has difficulty in principle at Level 3 and Level 4. Subject S. 04 (moderate spatial ability), has difficulty skills at Level 3 and has difficulty in principle at Level 4. Subject S.05 (high spatial ability), has difficulty in principle at Level 4. Subject S.06 (high spatial ability), has difficulty principles at Level 4.Based on the results of this study, it is expected to be an inspiration for users.

This study aims to describe the performance of employees who are at PT. Reycom Document Solutions, employee performance is still relatively low supported by research results. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the subjects of this study are employees of PT. Reycom Document Solutions. Data collection is done by observation, interview and survey techniques. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show good performance because it is influenced by several factors. The influencing factors are external factors, compensation and motivation for employee performance. Managerial implications of this research are HR Placement, work discipline, production targets, job satisfaction, motivation, compensation, management systems, bonuses / incentives, health benefits, family benefits, pensions, transportation and office facilities that have not been able to improve employee performance. Managerial should conduct an evaluation to improve employee performance at PT. Reycom Document Solutions.

Abstract: Jenis penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan SIMDA Keuangan pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Tolitoli. Dengan penjelasan deskriptif analisis, didapatkan bahwa penerapan SIMDA Keuangan pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Tolitoli dapat membantu pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan seperti Kuasa Pengguna Anggaran (KPA), Pejabat Pelaksana Kegiatan (PPK), Kepala Sub Bagian (Kasubag) Keuangan dan para operator administrasi dan komputerisasi berkaitan dengan pengoperasian Aplikasi SIMDA Keuangan dan juga dapat memberikan kemudahan serta penghematan dari sisi pembiayaan ekonomi (cost) sehingga tidak lagi menjadi beban pengeluaran yang besar bagi instansi. Dari hasil perbandingan yang didapatkan, terdapat perbedaan yang cukup besar antara penggunaan Software bawaan Microsoft (Excell) dengan Aplikasi SIMDA Keuangan. Berdasarkan indikator pengukuran berupa kualitas informasi yang didapatkan yakni kecepatan, ketepatan dan ketelitian, penggunaan Aplikasi SIMDA Keuangan lebih unggul. Kata kunci: SIMDA Keuangan & Evaluasi Abstract : This type of the research is part of a qualitative descriptive study aimed at the application of SIMDA Finance in the Tolitoli Regency Environmental Office. With the explanation of descriptive analysis, it is explained that the application of SIMDA Finance in the Tolitoli District Environmental Office can help interested parties such as the Budget User Authority (KPA), the Acting Activity Officer (PPK), the Head of the Sub Division (Head of Finance) and the administrative operators and Computerization related to the SIMDA Financial Application and can also provide convenience and savings in terms of economic financing (costs) so that it is no longer a burden of greater expenditure for institutions. From the results obtained, there is a significant difference between the use of Microsoft-owned Software (Excel) and the SIMDA Financial Application. Learning process at SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman still passive and uncontrolled, this condition affects to the student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in the learning process needs to be improved with the right methods to make students more active and encourage student solve the problems. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of learning method which the characteristics capable of demanding learners actively and directly involved in the learning. The Aim of this study is want to know affect PBL method can increase the activity and psychomotor learning outcomes of students. The subjects were students of class XI SMK Ma’arif 2014/2015 academic year. Collecting data used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in activity of learners by 12.98% and psychomotor learning outcomes by implementing PBL increased 9.01%. The conclution using PBL method was known that activities of learners increase practical subject.
