This paper aims to analyse the effect of quantitative analysis practices in analytical chemistry laboratory designed according to the experiential learning model on the self-directed learning readiness of prospective teachers’. In the research, experiential learning model has four steps that are concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation and active participation. A single group, pre-test post-test experimental design was used. The study group consists of 14 prospective chemistry teachers’. The self-directed learning readiness scale and focus group interviews were used as a data collection tool. After the application increase, the level of self-directed learning readiness. Difference between pre-test and post-test scores of the study group was significant. When the sub-scales of the scale examined, there was a meaningful difference in the ‘willingness to learn and self-control’ sub- scales. In the focus group interviews, the prospective teachers’ emphasised that experiential learning provided an understanding of the purpose of quantitative applications of analytical chemistry. Keywords: Self-directed learning readiness, experiential learning model, analytical chemistry laboratory.

In the curriculum informatics engineering program of South Aceh Polytechnic, functiom derivative is taught in the second semester. The derivative function is a mathematics concept who does manipulation toward a function, thus the function slope can be obtained quantitatively on the slanted point. The derivative function material is one of the difficult material faced by the students. Accordingly, the implementation of a learning model is a good thing to create students' interest on the subject. And the media also use to support teaching and learning process as software maple. The purpose of this research is to find out the students’ results who have taught by quantum teaching and also maple on derivative function and the students who have taught by conventional method, and also to know the students' responses after taught by quantum teaching and software maple on derivative material. Experimental method is used in this research by designing pre-test and post-test and control groups. The population is all of the second semester informatics engineering's students at South Aceh Polytechnic where they divided into two classes. The technique in gaining data is using two tests, they are written and questionnaire test. The result of data is analyzed by T-test, and questionnaire is analyzed by calculating the average scores which have set by Likert-scale. Research found that t-score > t-table that is 2.41>1,69. This showed that, the students' score on derivative material taught by quantum teaching by adopting media maple is better than the students' score taught by conventional method at informatics engineering of South Aceh Polytechnic. As for the students' responses, gainned the average of a proposed statements is 3.52. According to the specified criterias, the researcher concludes that the students' responses toward the implementation of quantum teaching by software maple on derivative function is very positive.

This article explores action research as a tool for promoting transformative learning of prospective teachers. Drawing on two B.A. or M.A. projects carried out at a university in Poland in which teacher-students used action research and the educational ethnography design to examine themselves as teachers and their practice, the article demonstrates the potential of such an approach for the transformation of students’ meaning perspectives and, eventually, of their personal and professional identities. The transformation the teacher-students experienced entailed their emancipation from the teaching models imposed on them in their institutions and the development of their personal teaching theories. This was followed by their transition to deliberate action, increased sense of agency, and readiness to assume responsibility for wider social change, consequently bridging the theory-practice divide. The author argues that despite the challenges of action research in the university context, its transformative potential makes it a valuable component of teacher education.

The background of this research is that learning tends to a cursory understanding, not touching the problems that exist in the environment. This situation occurs when the learning is considered.learning process is only centered on the teacher, students in passive conditions, not actively engaged only to hear And writing what the teacher explained. This causes the students are not eager in learning. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of learning model Student Team Achievement Divison (STAD) to creativity and student learning outcomes, materials classification of woody plants, improving student creativity, Student learning, and student responses at MTs Maarif Cipakem Maleber District. The research method used is experiment, that is one experiment group using Student Team Achievement Divison (STAD) and one control group using lecture method. Implementation of the model (STAD) results of a group of students, teacher presentations, group assignments, tests, comparisons, and rewards. The results obtained from the Students for the average number of post-test experimental class 73.66 is greater than the average post-test class control 19,81, the average number of increase in value (N gain) experimental class 4.94 more Large from the average number of increments (N gain) control class 1.42. That is, there is a difference of students' learning outcomes with the control class. The experimental class students had a higher gain (N gain) than the control class students. This study aims to determine the consistent changes of students' learning motivation resulting from the learning process using the STAD learning model and its effect on student learning outcomes. This study was the pretest-posttest control group design. Sample in this study was VIII class who were randomly determined. The data obtained then tested different using independent sample t-test. The results showed that the two research classes experienced a positive change in the motivation and learning outcomes of students. In the experimental class with STAD learning model showed motivation and learning outcomes that were better than class control. The post-test calculation shows that learners' motivation with the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.003, where 0.003 <0.05 means that there are significant differences. Learning outcomes that show the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000, where 0,000 <0,05 means that there are significant differences between the experimental and control classes. The existence of significant differences indicates that there is an effect of the STAD learning model on students' motivation and learning outcomes.
