Indonesia policy in Presidential Regulation No. 5 of 2006 on National Energy Management 2006-2025 states that one of its tasks is the ethical and sustainable management of energy, including the maintenance of environmental functions and increasing the role of new and renewable energy to 5% by 2025. In response to this problem, an effort is needed to meet the Indonesian people's energy needs. One of the programs of the Indonesian government is the implementation of an energy-independent village program. Jimbaran Village is one of the villages that have the potential to develop into an Energy Independent Village. The majority of Jimbaran Village residents work as cattle breeders, i.e., 1,663 families. The average farmer in Jimbaran Village has 3-4 cows/family heads with a total of 5,976 dairy cows. However, of the many existing breeders, no one has processed cow waste into biogas, which is a source of renewable energy. Animal waste may also be used to develop the clove and coffee plantation sector when processed into compost. Livestock waste is only dumped into sewers or human yards, so the environment is very polluting. It is, therefore, necessary to process livestock waste into biogas or compost. The analysis technique used in calculating the plan for the production of communal biogas is the analysis of supply, demand, and energy performance. Based on the calculation of the energy performance, it can be seen that the energy performance is more than 100 percent, which means that there is an excess of energy generated by existing biogas. Excessive energy can be allocated to other energy needs, such as electricity so that people can convert their current source of electrical energy from PLN to biogas.

This research was conducted to estimate the economic feasibility of establishing biogas plant from dairy farms manure in Al-Dlail district (Zarqa governorate). Biogas is a mixture of gas consisting of 50-70% of methane and carbon dioxide 30-45%, and other gases and water that resulted from the digestion of the biomass process with the absence of oxygen. It is used as a fuel source in many countries for the purposes of lighting and cooking. Biogas is a clean and renewable form of energy that can be sustainable solutions of large organic waste produced in animal farms and reduces the harmful environmental pollution. Also, it can be an opportunity to invest and make profits. Data for this research was collected by desk research, survey and interviews. The respondents were 31 dairy farmers; the interview included the Jordan Biogas plant manager, owners of manure plants, heads of cattle breeders associations and stakeholders in government organization. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS, 5P's analysis, PESTEC Analysis and Canvas model to come up with a clear picture about the feasibility of biogas utilization in Zarqa governorate. The study showed the tremendous environmental pollution that happened in Al-Dlail and Al-Khaldiah areas due to the poor management of cattle farms manure, causing air, soil ground and surface water pollution. As a solution to this problem, the study showed that the most appropriate solution to this problem is to exploit these manure in the production of energy from biogas as a sustainable, and environment-friendly project. The research also included the size of the feedstock of the manure produced from cattle farms, the availability of the necessary technology to build a project of this plant, the availability of markets for its products and the legislative framework governing the renewable energy projects represented by the Ministry of Energy. The study concluded that it is possible to establish a medium-sized biogas plant. The recommendation is to facilitate government procedures for investors in renewable energy and the promotion of environmental awareness between farmers and pay more attention to the management of livestock waste by creation waste management departments in government institutions.

The need of energy increases each year. Likewise, the need for electrical energy increased proportionally with the economic development and Indonesian populations. To meet the needs of national electrical energy, the implementation of new and renewable energy is indispensable, such as geothermal energy, wind and biomass. They have substantial potential in Indonesia. This research aims to explore Indonesia’s capacity of new and renewable energy for electrical energy, as well as how much energy that can has already been utilized, and the constraints such as natural and human resources or other factors, to achieve the fulfil the target in 2025 about fulfilment of national electrical energy needs. This research uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The data are secondary, which are collected from several journals, research articles, media, and government agency reports, especially the Ministry of energy and mineral resources (ESDM). The result shows that for the installed capacity in the plan for 2019 - 2028, wind energy contributes the highest with 82,76%. Geothermal contributes 25.31%, and biomass contributes 4.92%. In fact, in this year of 2020, new and renewable energy could not meet the government's target. Several factors that impede the development of new and renewable energy, especially the geothermal, wind, and biomass, are funding, bad-coordinated plan, and also the implementation. Additionally, there is COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and all funds are diverted for the treatment of the pandemic crisis.ABSTRAK:Kebutuhan akan energi terus meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya waktu.

The use of renewable energy sources plays an irreplaceable role in remote areas where the power grid is not available. Photovoltaic power conversion (PV) and wind power conversion are the main types of renewable energy sources used. Hybrid systems are considered the most efficient solution for remote areas that are not connected to the centralized power grid. Renewable energy is attracting the attention of researchers around the world. The main challenge is to combine the various existing sources into a single model in order to benefit from each of them, while complementing each other's disadvantages. The possibilities of managing combined hybrid systems based on renewable energy sources are currently not thoroughly studied. To increase the generation of electrical energy and reduce losses during the operation of these systems, it is necessary to conduct research aimed at improving the interactions of individual nodes of the proposed generation systems and improving the calculation methods for hybrid power plants. The integrated use of solar and wind generation systems can significantly improve energy performance and increase the generation of electrical energy. This paper proposes a method for integrating a solar photovoltaic system, a wind turbine, and a diesel generator connected to a load. An additional load is also connected to the system to absorb excess power. The hybrid system model was developed in MATLAB / Simulink. A controller based on an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system was developed and the system analyzed in terms of energy production and consumption. The results obtained show the degree of increase in the reliability and stability of the system.

Energy is a basic human need, which continues to increase in line with the level of life. Oil fuel / fossil energy is one of the nonrenewable energy sources which has been a mainstay to meet energy needs in all sectors of activity. The lack of students' understanding of the process of the occurrence of electrical energy makes them not much to save electricity in everyday life. During this time, most students in using electrical energy do not think about the impact on environmental sustainability. The activity of disseminating new and renewable energy is an effort or step taken to reduce dependence on fossil energy and simultaneously preserve the environment. This activity is a socialization activity led by STT-PLN lecturers to provide education to the public about the importance of understanding the use of electrical energy wisely in an effort to protect the environment.
