The purpose of this research was to analyze the important role of educators in the achievement of distance learning outcomes at MI Al-Mursyidiyyah. The method used is the mixing method, where the sources studied come from the results of the literature review and the results of questionnaire processing. The results of the questionnaire processing and literature review provided 3 important discussion points, namely; (1) PJJ (Distance Learning), (2) The Role of Teachers in Distance Learning and, (3) Criteria for Achievement of Learning Outcomes. Seeing the current situation, the role of educators must be optimized so that they can carry out their roles and the learning process properly. Educators not only convey material, but also must be able to design a learning process that is as attractive as possible by using learning media such as online games and so on, so that educators can attract the attention of students so that they remain enthusiastic in the learning process.

This study aims to analyze the principal's competence towards teachers implementing online learning during the 19th period to save the vital role of education itself, especially the opportunity for the principal as a leader in the school environment to give influence to the teacher in the distance learning process (online), as well as providing safety for many people, especially for students to avoid covid19. This study is a study that uses a literature review method that is where the authors make observations and reviews as well as analyzing the results of previous writings that will become a reference in this writing. The results of this study are: 1) the role of the principal is vital in term of the competencies that must be possessed by a leader in the school environment not only during the COVID-19 pandemic but also during ordinary situations; 2) and during such regular activities, the role and Principal competence must be able to provide positive space for teachers to improve competence in term of teaching and learning.

The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world has resulted in changes in various lives, including in the field of education. The government policy requiring studying from home, working from home and praying at home in the first week felt very sudden. And make the confusion of parents and teachers compounded by the lack of preparation for distance learning. As learning materials at home, assignments from student books are given. During this pandemic, more children will be at home, this is an effort made to break the chain of the spread of Covid, which has not yet subsided, even continues to grow. For the effectiveness of learning at this time the role of parents is very important, because the responsibility for education that is usually held by teachers while in school now completely shifts to both parents.Parents must accompany their children more in learning, be more attentive during learning, because when children are given freedom during unsupervised learning, not a few children take the opportunity to play online games, surf in cyberspace such as playing Facebook, Instagram, and other interesting applications, because in the learning process children are facilitated with cellphones plus a quota package that makes it easy to access whatever they want. The Given

The reality of the process of learning mathematics that occurs commonly in the field it’s complicating dan confusing students. This is very impact on interest and student learning outcomes. One of the alternative to improve students in understanding the definition of logarithms. The purpose of this study is to know the understanding of learning concepts and to know the response of students during the learning process. The research was located at SMA Negeri 15 Bandung, in class XII-Language, the number of students 20 people consisting of 6 male students and 14 female students. The location is on jl. Sarimanis I Sarijadi Bandung. Classroom action research method with research design consists of 4 (four) stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study was conducted 2 cycles. Reflection results of the 1st cycle used as the 2nd cycle’s plan material in order to the 2nd cycle of learning process more focused. The results concluded that: The use of image illustration media can improve the concept of logarithm definition. The results of questionnaires and interviews with students showed all students were happy with the learning process, all students interested in discussing with friends, all students declared the role of teachers help in working easily and interactively, most assume the given problem is not too difficult, most students more active, and all students love to solve the problem of logarithm by using illustration of the picture. The method of group teaching is more appropriate because students can communicate with other friends so that all students can understand the definition of logarithms correctly. RESUMO: O trabalho aqui apresentado se propõe a discutir os rumos da Educação a Distância (EaD) no ensino superior brasileiro, a refletir acerca de suas particularidades, do papel do professor, do tutor, do currículo e das plataformas virtuais ao longo desse processo, além, é claro, do papel do aluno, que deve ser (mas nem sempre é) o ator principal do processo educacional. Para tanto, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre esses temas, apresentando-se neste artigo a conclusão de que, para um curso em EaD ser bem sucedido, necessita-se principalmente do esforço e da dedicação de cada aluno, além da comunhão de todos os personagens envolvidos.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Educação a Distância (EaD). Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem (AVA). Tutor. Professor.  ABSTRACT: The paper is proposing to discuss the future of the Distance Learning (ODL) in Brazilian college education. It reflects on the particularities of this, the role of teachers, tutors, curriculum and virtual platforms throughout its process. In addition, it also reflects about the students’ role, which should be the main actor on the educational process – but is not always like this. Therefore, we did a literature review on these topics. Media is a tool or means as an intermediary to deliver lessons from teachers to students. Types of educational media commonly used are: graphics media, three-dimensional media, and media projection. Benefits of media in learning are: (1) Submission of subject matter can be uniformed. (2) The learning process becomes more clear and interesting. (3) The learning process becomes more interactive. (4) Efficiency in time and effort. (5) Improve the quality of student learning outcomes. (6) Media allows the learning process can be done anywhere and anytime. (7) The media can foster a positive attitude of students to the material and learning process. (8) Changing the role of teachers in a more positive and productive direction.

Abstract, Distance Learning should be well prepared from planning, implementing, to evaluating learning. This encourages research to examine how the role of teachers in the learning process is seen from the learning process. The focus of this research is to describe the Role of Teachers in the Implementation of Distance Learning, from the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research model. This research was conducted at MI Mathlau'ul Huda with the subject of the research being the teachers, in this case the teachers were given questionnaires and interviews to find out some indicators of the teacher's role, (1) the teacher's role as a source of learning in distance learning the teacher provided the source of learning among them namely the theme books and programs that the government made through television namely on TVRI; (2) the teacher's role as a demonstrator in this distance learning where the teacher provides facilities such as media for example with video media to help students in the learning process; (3) the teacher's role as a motivator gives the teacher motivating students. The motivation provided by the teacher also varies, there are those who provide motivation with rewards and also those that go directly to students (4) the role of the teacher as a manager in distance learning here the teacher acts as a manager of learning so that learning can be directed according to the basic competencies and learning objectives that must be achieved; (5) the teacher's role as an evaluator here the teacher's role is to provide an evaluation in order to know the extent to which students master a learning material. Abstrak, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh seyogianya harus dipersiapkan dengan baik dari mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai kepada evaluasi pembelajaran. Hal ini mendorong penelitian untuk mengkaji bagaimana peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dilihat dari proses pembelajaranya. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh, dari mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Mathlau’ul Huda dengan subjek penelitianya adalah para guru, dalam hal ini para guru diberikan angket dan wawancara untuk mengetahui beberapa indikator dari peran guru, (1) peran guru sebagai sumber belajar, dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh guru memberikan sumber belajar, yaitu buku tema dan program yang pemerintah buat melalui televisi yaitu di TVRI; (2) peran guru sebagai demonstrator, pada pembelajaran jarak jauh ini dimana guru memberikan fasilitas seperti, media contohnya dengan media video untuk membantu siswa dalam proses pembelajaran; (3) peran guru sebagai motivator, guru memberikan memotivasi kepada peserta didik. Motivasi yang diberikan guru juga beragam ada yang memberikan motivasi dengan reward dan juga ada yang melalui langsung kepada peserta didik (4) peran guru sebagai pengelola, dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh disini guru berperan sebagai pengelola pembelajaran, agar pembelajaran dapat terarah sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar dan tujuan pembelajaran yang harus dicapai; (5) peran guru sebagai evaluator disini guru berperan untuk memberikan evaluasi agar mengetahui sejauh mana peserta didik menguasai suatu materi pembelajaran. Terakhir mengenai faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran guru dalam pelaksanan pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Tutors are a fundamental element of the Distance Learning (DL) process. In fact, they complement the role of lecturers, giving a closer assistance to DL students. Considering the importance of tutors, this work investigates the DL process from their perspective. To that end, an empirical analysis was carried out via questionnaires and interviews, which were applied to 28 distance and 17 local tutors of a DL computing degree course. The collected information was analyzed and classified as a way to stress the main features, problems and solutions that have been applied along the past semesters. A list of suggestions to improve the educational environment/tool and pedagogic method was also elaborated as a result from this research.

Currently, Covid-19 is a hot topic of conversation in all countries, including Indonesia. In Indonesia itself, a Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy was implemented to suppress the spread of this virus so that all activities carried out outside the home must be stopped until this pandemic has subsided. The imposition of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) made the learning system change from a classical system to a Distance Learning (PJJ) or online system. In the Introduction to Management course, student participation was found to be low during the learning process. Lecturers have difficulty determining whether students take learning seriously or not. Often in distance learning, some students deliberately put up a video that has been recorded, so that it seems like they are following the learning process, but in reality, they are doing something else. This is caused by several factors, including media which can be in the form of video lessons and student interest in learning. Looking at the description above, researchers are interested in conducting research that aims to determine the effect of using video learning and learning interest on learning outcomes in the Management Introduction course in the distance learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted in the D3 Transportation Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, the State University of Jakarta in semester 113 of the 2020/2021 school year. This research is an ex post facto research with a quantitative approach. The number of samples in this study consisted of 76 students. The data collection technique is done by using questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using a multiple regression test. The results of this study indicate that Fcount ≥ Ftable = 13.53 ≥ 3.124 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of instructional videos (X1) and interest (X2) on learning outcomes in the Introduction to Management (Y) course. For this reason, the role of lecturers is indispensable in continuously making creative innovations in developing various kinds of learning media that can increase student interest in learning during the Covid 19 pandemic.

ABSTRACTThe role of learning media becomes very important in the period of distance learning to connect educators with learners. Therefore, the selection and use of learning media when Learning from Home (BDR) takes place will have an impact on the learning process that occurs. One of the practical and easy to use multimedia for BDR is Digital Storytelling. This article will present the results of research that produces digital storytelling of physics (DiSPhy) learning media that is equipped with science literacy and STEM projects. This research was conducted by the Research & Development (R&D) method which refers to the ASSURE steps. The resulting DiSPhy is tested directly to educators and learners using likert-scale questionnaire instruments. This research succeeded in producing digital learning media products in the form of DiSPhy equipped with decent science literacy as a medium of distance learning physics.Keywords: digital storytelling of physics, science literacy, learning from homeABSTRAK Peran media pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting pada masa pembelajaran jarak jauh untuk menghubungkan pendidik dengan peserta didik. Oleh karenanya, pemilihan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran saat Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) berlangsung akan berdampak pada proses pembelajaran yang terjadi. Salah satu multimedia yang praktis dan mudah digunakan untuk BDR adalah Digital Storytelling. Artikel ini akan memaparkan hasil penelitian yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran Digital Storytelling of Physics (DiSPhy) yang dilengkapi soal literasi sains dan proyek STEM. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Research & Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada langkah-langkah ASSURE. DiSPhy yang dihasilkan diuji secara langsung kepada pendidik dan peserta didik dengan menggunakan instrumen angket skala likert. Penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran digital berupa DiSPhy dilengkapi dengan soal literasi sains yang sangat layak sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh fisika.Kata kunci: digital storytelling of physics, literasi sains, belajar dari rumah

This chapter provides examples of pedagogical strategies to business schools and business faculty to promote and develop specific competences in business education graduates. In so doing, the chapter recommends understanding the adult learning theory of Knowles, Holton, and Swanson (2011), which emphasizes the role of teachers and adult needs for learning. Teachers should facilitate the learning process and system and must engage students in a process of mutual inquiry. Even though there are different pedagogical strategies available for academic institutions to pursue in order to develop competences of different levels and types in students, it is concluded that in the learning process the learner must take center stage. Academic institutions and faculty should be creative in designing learning and teaching activities as well as diverse and implementable pedagogical strategies.
