Tutors are a fundamental element of the Distance Learning (DL) process. In fact, they complement the role of lecturers, giving a closer assistance to DL students. Considering the importance of tutors, this work investigates the DL process from their perspective. To that end, an empirical analysis was carried out via questionnaires and interviews, which were applied to 28 distance and 17 local tutors of a DL computing degree course. The collected information was analyzed and classified as a way to stress the main features, problems and solutions that have been applied along the past semesters. A list of suggestions to improve the educational environment/tool and pedagogic method was also elaborated as a result from this research.

The study presents the results of a pilot program in which digital storytelling was used in order to inform fourth-grade students about bullying. The constructivist principles concerning the learning process, and in particular, the requirement of students' active participation, provided the necessary framework. Students created their own digital stories about bullying, while the researcher, although present, avoided to intervene, to guide or to lecture students to a great extent. The intervention was short in duration and easily applied, without altering the school's timetable. Qualitative analysis of the data indicates that, through their digital stories, students were able to grasp the main aspects of bullying and how they should react, but the role of bystanders was unclear to them. The results of the study might prove useful in the formation of a more comprehensive anti-bullying program.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the important role of educators in the achievement of distance learning outcomes at MI Al-Mursyidiyyah. The method used is the mixing method, where the sources studied come from the results of the literature review and the results of questionnaire processing. The results of the questionnaire processing and literature review provided 3 important discussion points, namely; (1) PJJ (Distance Learning), (2) The Role of Teachers in Distance Learning and, (3) Criteria for Achievement of Learning Outcomes. Seeing the current situation, the role of educators must be optimized so that they can carry out their roles and the learning process properly. Educators not only convey material, but also must be able to design a learning process that is as attractive as possible by using learning media such as online games and so on, so that educators can attract the attention of students so that they remain enthusiastic in the learning process.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a fundamental impact on various aspects of humanity. Starting from attacking health, this pandemic has hit the education sector which is quite influential on human life. Enforcement of regulations while maintaining a distance of about one meter has implications for the education process in Indonesia. Therefore, the educational element must encourage the distance learning process. The term arises because it sees distance learning as an alternative to face-to-face methods so that education can always be held without controversy under any circumstances. This activity raises the use of technology that is used as teaching material for distance education. Distance learning techniques allow users to take advantage of technologies such as online learning. Teachers will be required to abandon using traditional techniques whose methods are somewhat indifferent. Online learning creates internet connectivity and the use of information technology in helping the teaching and learning process that can be applied in Google Classroom. In this article, researchers focus on using Google Classroom in the context of implementing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of the current research was to identify the students’ subjective experience of the transforming learning environment according to the perceived opportunities provided by the digital learning environment of the university.Methodology and research methods. The research methodological framework is based on leading theories related to the students’ behaviour in digital learning environments (DLE). The synthesis of the theories considered made it possible to propose a theoretical model of the students’ subjective experiences in relation to DLE of the university, which was operationalised by constructing a questionnaire that reveals the students’ perception of the main components of the DLE. The following methods were employed: a questionnaire on alienation from study, a method for the assessment of students’ subjective experiences, and the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS). Previous distance learning experience was identified by the use of self-rating scales. The survey results were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient, the Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient, and the Pearson’s chi-squared test. The authors also used factorial ANOVA, correspondence analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Statistical calculations were performed using Statistica ver. 7.0 (Statsoft). 4558 students from 30 Russian universities (located in 23 subjects of Russia) took part in the research.Results. The present research demonstrated a change in the usual forms of learning activities carried out by students in the distance learning process. Distance learning is presented to students as a basis for meeting the need for subjectivity of their personality, the ability to initiate their own learning activities. Students feel that there are sufficient conditions and resources for mastering digital learning tools, and they easily adapt to the digital environment of their universities. However, in this process, the student acts as an atomised subject, weakly interacting with other people and not feeling a sense of interpersonal closeness and connectedness with others. The research findings revealed that the perceived characteristics of the DLE of the university have a direct impact on the inner states of students in the learning process. The formation of a stable social environment within the framework of the DLE, which ensures harmonious interaction and communication between the subjects of the educational process, contributes to achieving an optimal balance of students’ subjective experiences, reduces the risk of negative inner states that lead to learning demotivation, the experience of alienation from study, the growing sense of meaninglessness and emptiness in the learning process.Scientific novelty. The developed model of the influence of DLE on the subjective experiences of students in the emergence distance learning made it possible to identify significant DLE components, which determine the motivational and emotional states of students, and to establish student ratio to achieve the optimal balance of subjective experiences.Practical significance. The empirically based findings presented in this study can be used to design the DLE of the university, to determine the directions of work on the formation of psychological readiness of students for distance learning.

The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world has resulted in changes in various lives, including in the field of education. The government policy requiring studying from home, working from home and praying at home in the first week felt very sudden. And make the confusion of parents and teachers compounded by the lack of preparation for distance learning. As learning materials at home, assignments from student books are given. During this pandemic, more children will be at home, this is an effort made to break the chain of the spread of Covid, which has not yet subsided, even continues to grow. For the effectiveness of learning at this time the role of parents is very important, because the responsibility for education that is usually held by teachers while in school now completely shifts to both parents.Parents must accompany their children more in learning, be more attentive during learning, because when children are given freedom during unsupervised learning, not a few children take the opportunity to play online games, surf in cyberspace such as playing Facebook, Instagram, and other interesting applications, because in the learning process children are facilitated with cellphones plus a quota package that makes it easy to access whatever they want. For this reason, supervision and cooperation between parents and teachers is needed in continuing children's education. Keywords: parents, learning process assistance, distance, pandemic period
