Media is a tool or means as an intermediary to deliver lessons from teachers to students. Types of educational media commonly used are: graphics media, three-dimensional media, and media projection. Benefits of media in learning are: (1) Submission of subject matter can be uniformed. (2) The learning process becomes more clear and interesting. (3) The learning process becomes more interactive. (4) Efficiency in time and effort. (5) Improve the quality of student learning outcomes. (6) Media allows the learning process can be done anywhere and anytime. (7) The media can foster a positive attitude of students to the material and learning process. (8) Changing the role of teachers in a more positive and productive direction.

The reality of the process of learning mathematics that occurs commonly in the field it’s complicating dan confusing students. This is very impact on interest and student learning outcomes. One of the alternative to improve students in understanding the definition of logarithms. The purpose of this study is to know the understanding of learning concepts and to know the response of students during the learning process. The research was located at SMA Negeri 15 Bandung, in class XII-Language, the number of students 20 people consisting of 6 male students and 14 female students. The location is on jl. Sarimanis I Sarijadi Bandung. Classroom action research method with research design consists of 4 (four) stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study was conducted 2 cycles. Reflection results of the 1st cycle used as the 2nd cycle’s plan material in order to the 2nd cycle of learning process more focused. The results concluded that: The use of image illustration media can improve the concept of logarithm definition. The results of questionnaires and interviews with students showed all students were happy with the learning process, all students interested in discussing with friends, all students declared the role of teachers help in working easily and interactively, most assume the given problem is not too difficult, most students more active, and all students love to solve the problem of logarithm by using illustration of the picture. The method of group teaching is more appropriate because students can communicate with other friends so that all students can understand the definition of logarithms correctly. This research is a development research that aims to to find out the process and result of development of learning media of mathematics using Geogebra on sub subject of tangent alliance of two circles. Supporting devices used are RPP, BKS, BPG, and THB. The chosen development stage is Research and Development (R & D) which has been modified by adding Nieveen criteria that is valid, practical and effective. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. According to the criteria of practicality, it is known that the questionnaire of ease of using media reaches 79.8%. The operation of this media is so easy that it's easy to remember and can be used as a tool to learn the material. Questionnaires the role of teachers reached 81%. By using the teacher's activity media in explaining the material to be a little, because the students are more observing, summing up opinions, and working on the problem, so the teacher's interaction with the students is minimal, and the material explanation is enough to use the media. Observation sheet minimizes teacher's role by 76.95%. From the observer observation the students observed more, no difficulties in the use of media. However, learning cannot be finished as in RPP. According to the effectiveness criteria seen from the test of student learning outcomes so that the mastery of classical reach 35%. This is because learning is too focused on observation and discovery of the formula so that students do not practice in doing the problem. From this research, there are several findings, namely: learning media using Geogebra, supporting tool, namely RPP, BKS, BPG, THB and instrument have validity level on valid criteria, learning media using Geogebra is easy to use, learning media using Geogebra with supporting device can minimize the role of teachers so that the media meet the practical criteria. The test of learning outcomes has not been completed in a classical manner because the classical completeness does not reach 75% upwards, meaning that the media has not met the effective criteria.

Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups.Keywords: Learning, discussion AbstrakProses belajar mengajar yang baik dapat menciptakan situasi yang mmemungkinkan anak belajar, sehingga merupakan titik awal keberhasilan pengajaran. Rendahnya mutu pendidikan tergantung pada pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar yang dapat diartikan kurang efektifnya proses belajar mengajar, penyebabnya: (1) Rendahnya aktifitas belajar,  (2) Sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Kasus pada SMP Negeri % Kota Solok rendahnya aktifitas belajar siswa diduga berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan pengamatanpada  kelas VIII A yang termasuk kelas unggul belum mencapai ketuntasan yang di inginkan, sedangkan kelas yang paling sedikit ketuntasannya adalah kelas VIII B yaitu sebanyak 33,33 % dengan kriterian KKM 65. Melihat kenyataan tersebut, guru dituntut untuk dapat memotivasi siswa dan menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa. Karena itu, untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa, penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui metode diskusi dalam kelompok kecil. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, diskusi

The learning process at this time tends to decrease. This is caused by learning that is less interesting.   The Media and methods as a way to overcome monotonous learning need to be developed to improve the quality of  the student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Creative Proplem Solving (CPS) learning model. "This study uses classroom action research (PTK) consisting of 4 stages,  the stages namely of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. With  the research  subjects XDPIB2 class students consisting of 34 students, 24 male students and 10 female students. The instrument used was an observation sheet of student learning activities, and a test of student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate an increase in the average of student learning activities that continue to increase from cycle I to cycle III, it can be seen from the average learning activity of students who continue to increase starting from cycle I in the category of sufficient activity, amounting to 2.44. Cycle II was 3.38 with good category activity and Cycle III increased by 4.31 with very good category activity. Learning by using this CPS can improve student learning outcomes. based on observations on cycles I, II and III. From the three cycles, there was an increase in the average test of student learning outcomes in a row starting from cycle I, II and III was 60.65, 72.85 and 85.24 and only 1 student had a score below 75 of 34 students so that the application of the model CPS learning can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo

<p>Abstract: The Role of LPTK in Creating Syari’ah Based Professional Workforce in Aceh. The Institution of Learning for Educational workforce (LPTKs) plays an important role in the process of producing professionals in their fields. This article studies the extent to which such institutional programs play, especially those mainly associated with the Islamic sya’riah implemented in Aceh region. The writer of this article argues that, in terms of quality, it can be revealed from how far the lecturers are capable of facilitating the students’ learning process and its relevance to teaching materials. Therefore, the author concludes that the quality of learning can be conducted with the intensity of the systemic and synergistic lecturers, students, curriculum and learning materials, media, facilities, and learning systems in producing process and the optimal learning outcomes in accordance with the demands of curriculum.</p><p><br />Kata Kunci: workforce, professional, LPTK, Aceh<br /><br /></p>

AbstrakKesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi dimensi tiga perlu diatasi. Misalnya dengan menggunakan bantuan media pembelajaran yang tepat seperti  Software GeoGebra. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan software GeoGebra. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini terdiri dari 19 subjek kelas XII IPS salah satu MA swasta di Jombang. Instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan media software GeoGebra diawali dengan menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan mengingatkan materi sebelumnya, menjelaskan unsur-unsur bangun ruang, memperkenalkan software GeoGebra, menjelaskan fungsi masing-masing menu, menjelaskan materi dimensi tiga menggunakan software GeoGebra, dan memberikan penguatan serta menyimpulkan inti materi yang telah dipelajari. Hasil penelitian lainnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pemanfaatan GeoGebra. Software GeoGebra cocok digunakan untuk membantu siswa memahami materi dimensi tiga dengan baik. Learning Mathematics with GeoGebra Software Media with Three-Dimensional MaterialAbstractStudents' difficulties in understanding three-dimensional material need to be overcome. For example, by using the help of appropriate learning media such as GeoGebra Software. The purpose of this research was to describe the learning process and learning outcomes of mathematics using GeoGebra software. This qualitative descriptive study consisted of 19 subjects of class XII IPS, one of the private MA in Jombang. The research instruments are observation sheets, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the learning process using the GeoGebra software media begins with conveying the learning objectives and reminding the previous material, explaining the elements of spatial structure, introducing the GeoGebra software, explaining the function of each menu, explaining the Three Dimensional material using the GeoGebra software, and closing with providing reinforcement and conclude the core material that has been studied. The results of other studies indicate that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes between before and after the use of GeoGebra. GeoGebra software is suitable to help students understand three-dimensional material well.

Assessment is one of the important stages in the learning process of Indonesia because through the assessment of teachers to know the extent to which the learning objectives have been achieved. Assessment can be done through measurement (quantitative description) and / or through non-measurement (qualitative description). When teachers collect information on students' level of understanding through questions, observations, and assignments the teacher actually has conducted a non-measurement evaluation. The activity of the teacher is very useful in determining the level of mastery of students and in assessing the effectiveness of the learning process. Accurate information about student learning outcomes, interests and needs can only be obtained through effective assessment and assessment. The current assessment is a portfolio assessment that has many benefits for both teachers and students. Portfolio assessment is broader than assessment through tests, as with portfolios, teachers can follow cognitive development, attitudes, interests and student activities related to math. Thus, teachers can utilize the portfolio in improving the quality of learning which in turn will improve the quality of student learning outcomes.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the important role of educators in the achievement of distance learning outcomes at MI Al-Mursyidiyyah. The method used is the mixing method, where the sources studied come from the results of the literature review and the results of questionnaire processing. The results of the questionnaire processing and literature review provided 3 important discussion points, namely; (1) PJJ (Distance Learning), (2) The Role of Teachers in Distance Learning and, (3) Criteria for Achievement of Learning Outcomes. Seeing the current situation, the role of educators must be optimized so that they can carry out their roles and the learning process properly. Educators not only convey material, but also must be able to design a learning process that is as attractive as possible by using learning media such as online games and so on, so that educators can attract the attention of students so that they remain enthusiastic in the learning process.

In the teaching and learning process of Social Sciences, many problems are carried out by the teacher. One of them is some students still rely on their teacher's activities in learning, so the role of students is still very lacking. Even thought, the teacher always involving students to play an active in learning process. In contrary, students assume that the subject of Social Sciences is very boring. So that this causes a low quality of learning in Social Sciences, especially in  SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. This cases has tickled the writer to take the theme of research on picture and picture cooperative methods to improve the quality of learning and increase the interest and activity of students in teaching and learning activities in Social Sciences.As for the techniques used of data collection is through observation by teachers and collaborators. The research involved two cycles of 42 students. While the data analysis used description with percentage techniques. Furthermore the level of activity of students and teachers is expressed in the category of "very good", "good" or "moderate", while the success of using picture and picture cooperative methods is stated as "successful", "less successful", or "unsuccessful".The results of this reseacrh with picture and picture cooperative methods have been successful, which is showing indicated by an increase in student activity of learning because it has reached the specified criteria is 81% of students are actively involved, while teacher activities reach 86.53%, as well as student learning outcomes with a value of 78.57, where this shows that it is exceeding the KKM value of 72, with a percentage of completeness of 76%, which has exceeded the criteria of 75%.

This study aims at determining the extent of the application of academic supervision in improving the performance of school principals in applying the learning outcomes assessment model at SMPN 41 Medan. Assessment consists of external assessments and internal assessments. External assessments are assessments made by other parties who do not carry out the learning process. External assessments are carried out by an institution, both domestic and foreign, intended among other things to control quality. While internal assessments are assessments planned and carried out by the teacher during the learning process. Class assessment is part of an internal assessment (internal assessment) to determine student learning outcomes towards mastery of competencies taught by the teacher. The aim is to assess the level of achievement of student competencies that are carried out when learning takes place and the end of learning. The assessment of student learning outcomes is carried out by the teacher to monitor the process, progress, development of student learning outcomes in accordance with their potential and expected abilities on an ongoing basis. Assessment can also provide feedback to teachers in order to improve planning and learning processes. In this surveillance action research carried out in 3 cycles, the results of the actions taken are proven to improve the quality of schools by achieving ideal standards. From 64.25% in Cycle 1, it can be increased to 73.75% in Cycle II, and in the third cycle to 83.25% and has met the ideal standard.
