Introduction: Noise is considered as a risk factor for a wide range of industrial environments, including construction industry. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of job stress caused by noise exposure with sleep disturbance. Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was carried out among 134 workers of an Iranian construction industry. To assess the individuals' noise exposure in accordance with the ISO 9612: 2009, the eight-hour occupational exposure level was measured. To assess the occupational stress, the Parker Job Stress Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index were applied. Epworth Sleepiness Scale was also used to assess the sleep disturbance. Data were analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation test, and multivariate regression in SPSS version 23. Results: The results of Pearson correlation test and multivariate regression showed that noise can cause sleep disturbance by causing occupational stress in workers. Based on the results of this study, noise exposure, occupational stress, and sleep disturbance have a direct and positive relationship. In other words, increased noise exposure leads to occupational stress and sleep disturbance. Conclusion: Assessment of the noise exposure in workers of a construction industry showed that noise was a very important factor in the psychological problems of workers in this industry. In addition to the direct effects of noise on sleep disturbance, it can indirectly exacerbate the sleep disturbances.

ABSTRACTStress can be perceived as a response to threats situations (either physical or psychological) caused by individual inability  to overcome existing threats within his/her environment. Job stress is the result of interaction between an individual (i.e. a worker) and his/her occupation. The objective of this study to identify the factor affecting tojob stress by the divers at PT. X. This study applied cross-sectional design conducted by observing the divers at PT. X. The population of this study was all divers working at PT. X. Data was analyzed by Spearman Correlation Test, Pearson Correlation Test, and Chi-square Test. The results of this study is strong correlation between personality type and job stress (as indicated by correlation coefficient 0.645). The divers’ age (correlation coefficient -0.283), educational level (correlation coefficient -0.220), years of service/experience (correlation coefficient -0.158), length of diving session (correlation coefficient 0.083), and threats of marine animal attack (correlation coefficient 0.156) had lower correlation with job stress. While the divers residence might also affect their job stress (as indicated by correlation coefficient 0.539).Keywords: job stress, diver

Fardhu prayer is a compulsory activity that can create peace of mind for those who run it. For medical students in semester 8 of FK UMP who are experiencing many exams and personal problems, prayer can help calm and relieve stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between the regularity of fardhu prayer and stress levels in 8th-semester students of the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. Methods use a correlational analysis research design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted on an entire population of 48 students of the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. Stress level data were obtained using the DASS test questionnaire, and prayer regularity data were obtained from the fardhu prayer regularity questionnaire. Data analysis with Pearson parametric correlation test. Results show the highest level of stress in students who experienced mild stress, and the results of the regularity of student prayers were found that many students regularly prayed. Based on the Pearson correlation test results, the value of p = 0.0 10 was obtained. There is a significant relationship between the regularity of fardhu prayer and the stress of the 8th-semester students of the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, class of 2013.

The present research was done to analyze the relationship between organizational trust and organizational innovation at Payam Nour University in Tehran Province. To collect data related to organizational trust, Payne questionnaire was used. Organizational innovation data were collected by a researcher-developed questionnaire. The reliability of both of which based on Alfa Cronbach coefficient was 91% and 86% respectively. To analyze data, Pearson correlation test and step-by step regression were applied. The result of correlation test showed that there is positive and significant relationship between organizational trust and all its dimensions with organizational innovation. The results of structural equation modeling were collected by 231 questionnaires and suggest that innovative leadership and organizational trust have relation with organizational innovation. In conclusion, the result is analyzed and some suggestions are made to improve innovation capability in the organization of the target population.

Introduction: Occupational stress is one of the most important phenomena in the workplace. Mental health, as an important factor in all personal, social, and occupational life aspects, is one of the areas of interest in mental health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between job stress and mental health among workers of central iron ore in Bafgh City, Iran. Methods: This was a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population included 2400 people (1600 workers and 800 employees) working in central Bafgh iron ore in 2014. The sample size was estimated as 331 using the Morgan and Krejcie table. Approximately, 216 persons were employed in the labor sector and 115 in the employment sector. Data collection tools included the Goldberg general health questionnaire (GHQ) and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS). The DASS was designed in three parts. The first part included demographic data (7 items). The second section had 28 questions and dealt with the participants' general health status. The third part included 42 questions and was about occupational stress. Later, Spss21 was used and Pearson correlation coefficient and regression tests were run to analyze the data and test the hypotheses. Results: The results showed that mental health was higher in employees, while job stress was higher among the workers. This indicated a significant association between job stress and mental health in both employees and workers. However, regarding the demographic variables, only gender was related to mental health and rest of the demographic variables had no significant relationship with mental health and job stress (5≥participants). Conclusion: Occupational stress was related to mental health in employees and workers; this can affect the level of production and product quality. Furthermore, occupational tress and mental health not only affect the workers and employees, but also expose the society and other people at risk.  Consequently, it is necessary to plan and render different services at the occupation environment to decrease job stress and improve the current situation.

Introduction: Job stress is one of the most important phenomena in social life and is a serious threat to the workforce health worldwide. Job stress can cause occupational accidents, result in injuries to people, and damage equipment of the workplace. Firefighting is also one of the most stressful occupations. Firefighters have one of the most important intensive occupations and need to be physically and mentally fit to perform their missions and tasks safely. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between occupational stress and work accidents among the staff of fire department and safety services of Yazd province. Methods: This descriptive-survey study was conducted on all personnel of the Firefighting Organization (300 employees) in 2018. The sample group consisted of 160 employees randomly selected from the whole population. The available sampling method and the research tools included two questionnaires of individual-occupational information and Bellik's occupational stress questionnaire (1991). The reliability co-efficient of job stress questionnaire was 0.78 and the validity of both questionnaires was confirmed by several experts. The statistical methods used in this research were descriptive and inferential statistics (t tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, and single-variable regression analysis). Results: The results showed that occupational stress in employees was higher than the average. Moreover, job stress had a significant correlation with physical condition of the work environment, accidents, occupational injuries, time pressure at work, work environment problems, and decision making. Conclusion: Employees exposed to stress are involved with physical weaknesses and suffering from low spirits. Stress also causes unwillingness and coldness to perform the tasks, reduces the staff's energy, decreases the employees' adaptation to the environment, decreases efficiency, causes confusion in decision making, leads to disturbances in organizational relationships, and reduces job values ​​and organizational productivity of employees working in fire department and safety services of Yazd province.

Vision is a distant view of a health center or institution, vision can also be interpreted as the purpose of a health center or institution and what must be done to achieve these goals in the future or the future. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlational design approach. This study aims to determine the relationship between the socialization of vision and effective mission towards the level of emotional bonding of staff with institutions in the Plus Awaai care clinic in 2019 by measuring the effective vision and mission socialization with the emotional level of all employees or employees working at the Plus Awaai care clinic. About the Pearson Correlation test to determine the relationship between the socialization vision and variables variables with the emotional level obtained from the Pearson Correlation test on the significant value is 0,000 <0.05 meaning that there is a relationship between the socialization of vision and mission with the emotional level. The degree of relationship is in strong correlation and is in positive relationship. Based on the results of the study can be put forward some suggestions as follows: 1) For Educational Institutions, this research should be useful for education, and it is recommended that the same research be carried out with a larger number of samples and in different places. 2). For Research Sites, In order to improve the provision of information on puskesmas profiles, activities that are often carried out at puskesmas, and routine activities carried out by puskesmas to socialize puskesmas vision and mission.   Visi adalah pandangan jauh tentang suatu puskesmas ataupun lembaga, visi juga dapat di artikan sebagai tujuan puskesmas atau lembaga dan apa yang harus dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuannya tersebut pada masa yang akan datang atau masa depan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain Deskriptif Kolrelasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubunga sosialisasi visi, misi efektif Terhadap tingkat ikatan emosional staf dengan institusi di puskesmas perawatan Plus Awaai Tahun 2019 dengan mengukur sosialisasi visi misi efektif dengan tingkatan emosional seluruh pegawai atau karyawan yang bekerja di puskesmas perawatan Plus Awaai. Tentang uji pearson corelation untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel sosialisasi visi misi dengan tingkat emosional diperoleh hasil dari uji pearson corelation terhadap nilai signifikan adalah 0,000 < 0,05 artinya ada hubungan antara sosialisasi visi misi dengan tingkat emosional. Tingkat hubungan berada pada korelasi kuat dan berada pada hubungan positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan beberapa saran sebagai berikut: 1) Bagi Institusi Pendidikan, Penelitian ini hendaknya berguna bagi pendidikan, dan disarankan dilakukan penelitian yang sama dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar dan di tempat yang berbeda. 2). Bagi Tempat Penelitian, Agar dapat meningkatkan pemberian informasi mengenai profil puskesmas, kegiatan-kegiatan yang sering dilakukan di puskesmas, dan adanya kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan puskesmas untuk mensosialisasikan visi misi puskesmas.

Penjamah makanan adalah orang yang secara langsung berhubungan dengan makanan dan peralatan mulai dari tahap persiapan, pembersihan, pengolahan, pengangkutan sampai dengan penyajian. Personal higiene dan perilaku sehat penjamah makanan harus diperhatikan. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap penjamah makanan dengan hygine jajanan tradisional di pasar tradisional Kota Sibolga Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain deskriptif korelasi. Hasil penelitian didapat dengan menggunakan uji pearson corelation untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel sikap penjamah makanan dengan hygene sanitasi diperoleh Pearson Correlation diperoleh hasil adalah -0,369 < 0,05 artinya ada hubungan antara sikap penjamah makanan dengan hygene sanitasi. Hasil dari uji pearson corelation terhadap nilai signifikan hubungan variabel sikap penjamah makanan dengan hygene sanitasi diperoleh diperoleh hasil adalah 0,041 < 0,05 artinya ada hubungan antara sikap penjamah makanan dengan hygene sanitasi. Tingkat hubungan berada pada korelasi sedang dan berada pada hubungan negatif. Disarankan agar Penelitian ini hendaknya berguna bagi pendidikan, dan disarankan dilakukan penelitian yang sama dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar dan di tempat yang berbeda, meningkatkan pemberian informasi mengenai perilaku penjamah makanan dan hygine di pasar tradisiona di kota sibolga.                                                                                                                                                                    Food handlers are people who are directly related to food and equipment ranging from the preparation, cleaning, processing, transportation to presentation. Personal hygiene and healthy behavior of food handlers must be considered. The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship of the attitude of food handlers with traditional snacks hygine in the traditional market of Sibolga City in 2018. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlation design approach. The results were obtained by using Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between the variables of food handlers attitude and hygiene hygiene obtained by Pearson Correlation. The results were -0.396 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between the attitude of food handlers and sanitation hygiene. The results of the Pearson correlation test on the significance of the relationship between the variables of food handlers' attitudes and hygiene hygiene were obtained as a result of 0.041 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship between the attitude of food handlers and hygiene hygiene. The level of relationship is in a moderate correlation and is in a negative relationship. It is recommended that this study be useful for education, and it is recommended that research be carried out with the same larger sample size and in different places, increasing the provision of information on the behavior of food handlers and hygines in traditional markets in the city of Sibolga.

This research is conducted to identify the Relationship between Introversion and Extroversion Personality with Learning Style of UPSI students. This research is conducted to identify the relationship of the Introversion and Extroversion personality affect the by the Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic (VAK) learning style. In addition, suitable activities are also discussed to suit the needs of introversion and extroversion personality. A total of 233 second year UPSI students were selected in this research. The data was collected using questionnaire and divided into two parts. The first part is the identification of the introversion and extroversion personality of the respondent and the second part is the learning style of the respondent which are divided into 3 parts which are Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic. The data collected was then analysed using Pearson Correlation test. The Pearson Correlation test shows no significant between the introversion and extroversion personality of the respondent and the VAK learning style due to the p=.730. Suitable activities consist of hands-on and group activities is among the major suggestion collected from the respondent. In conclusion, although there is no significant between Introversion and Extroversion personality and VAK learning style, the teacher should pay attention to their students’ behavior in a learning environment to ensure the engagement of the students towards the lesson taught by them

The construction sector exerts an exceptional impact on economic development all over the world. Adequate buildings and infrastructures made by the construction sector ensure that a country reaches certain targets like social development, industrialization, freight transportation, sustainable development, and urbanization. This study aims to determine the construction sector’s connectivity with other sectors through complex linkages that contribute immensely to the economy and gross domestic product (GDP). The data were collected from the Department of Statistics Malaysia and the World Bank from the year 1970 to 2019, and the Pearson correlation test, the cointegration test, and the Granger causality test were conducted. The vector error correction model (VECM) was created for short-term and long-term equilibrium analysis and impulse response function (IRF) was performed to study construction industry behavior. Afterwards, the forecasting was done for the year 2020 to 2050 of the Malaysian economy and GDP for the required sectors. It was revealed that some sectors, such as agriculture and services, have forward linkages while other sectors, such as manufacturing and mining, are independent of construction sector causality, which signifies the behavior of the contributing sectors when a recession occurs, hence generating significant revenue. The Malaysian economy is moving towards sustainable production with more emphasis on the construction sector. The outcome can be used as a benchmark by other countries to achieve sustainable development. The significance of this study is its usefulness for experts all over the world in terms of allocating resources to make the construction sector a sustainable sector after receiving a shock. A sustainable conceptual framework has been suggested for global application that shows the factors involved in the growth of the construction industry to ensure its sustainable development with time.

Objective - The study purposes three objectives, which is to recognize the level of employees' commitment (EC) among employees, to identify the level of IWE application among employees, and to investigate the relationship between EC and IWE. Methodology/Technique - The data was collected through a structured questionnaire from employees working at selected financial firms in Kuala Lumpur and has been statistically analysed using SPSS. Findings - The results showed that the levels of employees' commitment and IWE among employees are high, however the Pearson correlation test shows there is no significant relationship between EC and IWE. Hence, it is recommended for future research to explore a different angle of the management dimension to be tested with IWE and expand the context into a multidisciplinary field. Novelty - This research helps to broaden the employees' knowledge about the work ethics in Islamic perspectives and apply it in their organization.
