Purpose of the study: The aim of this study is to examine the role of special autonomy funds in poverty reduction in Aceh and to find out how to deal with poverty in Aceh and what obstacles are faced by Aceh Government. Methodology: This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach to provide a detailed explanation and exploitation. Research data obtained through interviews and data obtained also through local and national online media and the media data were analyzed using Nvivo 12 Plus, specifically by using the NCapture feature, which allows researchers to systematically compile and analyze documents. Main Findings: This study found that the implementation of poverty reduction programs and policies is still in the form of false participation due to low transparency and accountability and economic dependence on other regions outside Aceh and the small number of medium and large industries in Aceh. Applications of this study: The findings of this study are useful for exploration by the Aceh Government in order to maximize the role of special autonomy funds in poverty alleviation efforts in Aceh. Novelty/Originality of this study: Research on the Aceh Special Independence Fund has been widely explained by a number of researchers. However, there is no publication that specifically explains the role of special self-government funds to reduce poverty. Consequently, the use of accountable and transparent special autonomy funds can reduce poverty in Aceh.

Credit risk is one of the most frequent risks in tough financing such as on financing using ijarah and murabahah contracts in Sharia financial institutions. The reason is due to mistakes in the analysis of financing applications and lack of cooperative readiness in managing and anticipating the possibility of risk exposure in the institution. In other hand, sharia cooperatives follow the principle of lost and profit sharing that requires a careful cooperative in managing their business in order to achieve the expected profit target.As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo which has been operating for 19 years only experienced credit risk less than 1%. Therefore, this study is aimed to firstly understand and describe to what extent the implementation of risk management in sharia financing in As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo is, and secondly, to understand and describe the credit risk settlement scheme that occurs in sharia financing in As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo.This research used qualitative method, using a case study approach. Data are collected through interview technique at main source and documents and regulation of the cooperation as secondary data source. The data were analyzed through 3 (three) steps. They are data deduction, data display and conclusion and verification.The results show that the role of the group and the joint responsibility system become the key in reducing credit risk Keywords: management, risk, credit, Ijarah, Murabahah.

The effectiveness of learning of Christian Religious Education at school needs some media. Song, as a part of musical activity, is one of the media that is used by Christian Religious Education teachers to teach the Christian faith effectively. The aim of this article is to affirm the important role of the song as one of the learning media of Christian Religious Education at school. This Article is written in qualitative method with literature study approach and observation as its approach. This article explains the nature and the purpose of Christian Religious Education, music in church life, music in the history of thinking and practicing of Christian Religious Education, and the use of song as media in the learning of Christian Religious Education at school.

Children as protective objects need to be equipped with the knowledge and behaviors associated with their salvation. One way to get kids to avoid danger is to increase the understanding of parents around toddlers about the environment for dangers and ways to overcome dangers through self-safety education. The surrounding environment is also very instrumental in the formation of child safety culture. The environment can be formed and designed, so that the child can do comfortable activities. Researchers conduct a number of observations to families of children to achieve maximum results. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the environment in supporting the growth of safety cultures in toddler-aged children. The method of study used is a qualitative method with a case study approach that is descriptive exploratory. The results showed that environmental factors held the first and foremost role in the formation of child safety culture.

Abstract:This article discusses the role of the media in Nigeria's Fourth Republic between 1999 and 2003. Employing a case study approach, it highlights as well as analyzes the media's role in insisting on accountability and decency in Nigeria's notoriously corrupt public life. The media's crusade ran against the country's geopolitical divisions and revived the debate on the national question as well as the media's own morality. The article draws on both primary and secondary data to examine the media's role in an emergent democracy.

The role of Mosques for Muslim communities has transformed, not only do they serve as a place for worship but also as a center for such social activities as education/learning, da’wah, meetings, and some other community activities. Such roles of the mosque can be seen at Jogokaryan Mosque in Yogyakarta. Since its first development in 1966-1967, the Jogokaryan Mosque has been known as among the prominnet mosques for its religious and social activities. Moreover, Jogokaryan Mosque is better known now as the pioneer for the transformation of Mosques’ role as the center for productive economic activities. The breakthrough efforts initiated by the management of Jogokaryan Mosque play a significant role in the impressive development in the society. This study employs takes the form of qualitative method, using a case study approach. It aims to examine the breakthrough efforts initiated by the management of Jogokaryan Mosque in regard to its administration and other related policies which support the development of the mosque. It is found that that there are two forms of initiatives done by the managemnet of Jogokaryan Mosque, known as formal and substantive rationality. The concept of “irrationality of the rational”, a logical consequence of formal rationality, also emerged as an effort done by the management of  Jogokaryan mosque to make those who are considered irrational as rational.[Peran masjid bagi umat muslim telah bertransformasi, tidak hanya sebagai tempat beribadah semata, namun juga sebagai pusat bagi beberapa aktifitas sosial seperti pembelajaran/pendidikan, dakwah, pertemuan, dan aktifitas komunitas lainnya. Peran masjid seperti itu dapat ditemukan di Masjid Jogokaryan Yogyakarta. Sejak awal perkembangannya pada 1966-1967, Masjid Jogokaryan telah dikenal sebagai masjid yang terkemuka karena tidak hanya aktifitas keagamaan namun juga aktifitas sosialnya. Bahkan, Masjid Jogokaryan lebih terkenal sebagai pionir transformasi peran masjid-masjid sebagai pusat aktifitas ekonomi produktif. Upaya terobosan yang diprakarsai oleh manajemen pengelolaan Masjid Jogokayan berperan penting dan mengesankan dalam perkembangan masyarakat sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri upaya terobosan yang diprakarsai oleh manajemen tamir Masjid Jogokaryan dalam hal administrasi dan aturan terkait lainnya yang mendorong adanya pengembangan masjid. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa ada bentuk inisiasi yang dilakukan oleh takmir Masjid Jogokaryan yaitu, apa yang disebut dengan rasionalitas formal dan rasionalitas substantif. Konsep “irasionalitas dari yang rasional”, adalah bentuk konsekuensi logis dari rasionalitas formal yang merupakan bentuk upaya yang dilakukan oleh manajemen takmir Masjid Jogokaryan untuk menyebut sesuatu yang tidak rasional sebagai termasuk yang rasional juga.]

The Bioscience and Biotechnology Development Foundation (YPBB) managing organic and non organic waste through a program called zero-waste. This study aimed to determine the zero waste information dissemination activities at YPBB. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were observations, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Study results indicated that zero-waste information dissemination activities were through Programs Zero-Waste Lifestyle (ZWL) and Zero-Waste Cities (ZWC). The ZWL Program comprised training involving partners. Communicators in the ZWL Program were YPBB voluntary trainers, that the message conveyed was informative, using a clear and to understands word approach and a humorous approach. The media used presentation slides as instructional media, organic nonorganic waste, takakura, and biopore drills as instructional aids. The ZWL Program participants were middle and upper-middle urban communities. The kelurahan or RW implemented the Zero Waste Cities Program (ZWC). Communicators in this program were RW heads and cadres, that give messages were persuasive and educational, conveyed through posters and WhatsApp groups. The study concludes that the dissemination of zero waste information through the Zero-Waste Lifestyle (ZWL) and Zero Waste Cities (ZWC) Programs are viewed from communication elements, namely communicators, messages, media and communication elements that are already running and by the program planned. The conclusion this research shows that the dissemination of zero waste information through ZWL and ZWC according to the communication element is already in progress, and according to the planned program.

This present research studies the ideologization practices of the Islamic philanthropy institution managed by the civil society in Indonesia: a case study of Suryakarta Beramal Foundation. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, observations and documentation techniques and then inductively analyzed. The results show that Suryakarta Beramal is a philanthropy institution ideologically affiliated withthe Tarbiyah movement. Most of the collected Islamic philanthropy funds: zakat, (alms-giving), infak (infaq), sadaqah (donation) and wakaf (religious endowment) were provided to finance the educational institution possessed by Suryakarta Beramal, except for poverty alleviation; the educational institution also functions as an ideologization medium. Ideologization was conducted through curriculum engineering, holding various events such as smart recharging, liqa, mabit, rihlah and halaqah and students’ habituation, starting from using uniforms for religious activities either at school or in the dormitory. The result of the ideologization is that the alumni of the school of Suryakarta Beramal became the loyalists of the Tarbiyah ideology and are affiliated with Partai Adil Makmur (PAM) (Just and Affluent Party) as the political wing of the Tarbiyah movement in Indonesia.

The independence of society is inseparable from the emergence of the independence of individuals who are in it, including women. Women who are members of the Betang Asi Credit Union Cooperative business unit in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province with their efforts to wick rattan provide a new meaning in empowering women based on local wisdom of Dayak tribe, with a focus on business based on the potential of rattan plants that grow in nature. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study provide a review of the need for women to join business institutions such as cooperatives or other institutions in marketing their products, so that the weaknesses of the findings in this study can be eliminated and the role of women in the village towards economic independence can run well without having to forget the local wisdom as a person born from Dayak tribe.

Radical labels and terrorist movements are often pinned down on various Islamic organizations in Indonesia, one of which is Wahdah Islamiyah (WI). This stigma is growing rapidly among Indonesians because the news in the media seems to accuse Islamic organizations of being the source of radical movements. Understanding the media becomes a crucial need in society. In addition, Islamic organizations are required to balance technological developments and utilize communication media in the modern era to re-establish the image of Muslims in Indonesia. This study focused on Wahdah Islamiyah in Palu City and was carried out with qualitative methods and case study approach to see and explain how the Wahdah Islamiyah in Palu City understood and utilized the media in responding to radical ideas that were often attached to Islamic organizations. This research shows that WI has a special strategy in responding to radicalism and has been able to utilize online media even though it is not yet optimal.

The study was entitled "The Role of Social Capital as a Strategy in the Development of the Weaving Handicraft Industry in Sukarara Village". The development of the weaving industry has been started since the 1980s, but the process of developing the weaving industry is still relatively slow and has low competitiveness with handicraft industries is in Central Lombok. This study uses the theory and concept of social capital from Putnam. This study also uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The main source in this study is the weaving craftsmen. The research location is Sukarara Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. This research is a qualitative research which aims to explain and discover the role of social capital that is owned by the community in the development process of the weaving industry in the village of Sukarara. The focus of this research is identifying the role of social capital and knowing the obstacles in the development process of the weaving industry. This study aims to determine the role of social capital and its obstacles in the development process of the weaving industry in Sukarara Village.Keywords: Social Capital, Strategy, Weaving Crafts
