The role of Mosques for Muslim communities has transformed, not only do they serve as a place for worship but also as a center for such social activities as education/learning, da’wah, meetings, and some other community activities. Such roles of the mosque can be seen at Jogokaryan Mosque in Yogyakarta. Since its first development in 1966-1967, the Jogokaryan Mosque has been known as among the prominnet mosques for its religious and social activities. Moreover, Jogokaryan Mosque is better known now as the pioneer for the transformation of Mosques’ role as the center for productive economic activities. The breakthrough efforts initiated by the management of Jogokaryan Mosque play a significant role in the impressive development in the society. This study employs takes the form of qualitative method, using a case study approach. It aims to examine the breakthrough efforts initiated by the management of Jogokaryan Mosque in regard to its administration and other related policies which support the development of the mosque. It is found that that there are two forms of initiatives done by the managemnet of Jogokaryan Mosque, known as formal and substantive rationality. The concept of “irrationality of the rational”, a logical consequence of formal rationality, also emerged as an effort done by the management of  Jogokaryan mosque to make those who are considered irrational as rational.[Peran masjid bagi umat muslim telah bertransformasi, tidak hanya sebagai tempat beribadah semata, namun juga sebagai pusat bagi beberapa aktifitas sosial seperti pembelajaran/pendidikan, dakwah, pertemuan, dan aktifitas komunitas lainnya. Peran masjid seperti itu dapat ditemukan di Masjid Jogokaryan Yogyakarta. Sejak awal perkembangannya pada 1966-1967, Masjid Jogokaryan telah dikenal sebagai masjid yang terkemuka karena tidak hanya aktifitas keagamaan namun juga aktifitas sosialnya. Bahkan, Masjid Jogokaryan lebih terkenal sebagai pionir transformasi peran masjid-masjid sebagai pusat aktifitas ekonomi produktif. Upaya terobosan yang diprakarsai oleh manajemen pengelolaan Masjid Jogokayan berperan penting dan mengesankan dalam perkembangan masyarakat sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri upaya terobosan yang diprakarsai oleh manajemen tamir Masjid Jogokaryan dalam hal administrasi dan aturan terkait lainnya yang mendorong adanya pengembangan masjid. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa ada bentuk inisiasi yang dilakukan oleh takmir Masjid Jogokaryan yaitu, apa yang disebut dengan rasionalitas formal dan rasionalitas substantif. Konsep “irasionalitas dari yang rasional”, adalah bentuk konsekuensi logis dari rasionalitas formal yang merupakan bentuk upaya yang dilakukan oleh manajemen takmir Masjid Jogokaryan untuk menyebut sesuatu yang tidak rasional sebagai termasuk yang rasional juga.]

Credit risk is one of the most frequent risks in tough financing such as on financing using ijarah and murabahah contracts in Sharia financial institutions. The reason is due to mistakes in the analysis of financing applications and lack of cooperative readiness in managing and anticipating the possibility of risk exposure in the institution. In other hand, sharia cooperatives follow the principle of lost and profit sharing that requires a careful cooperative in managing their business in order to achieve the expected profit target.As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo which has been operating for 19 years only experienced credit risk less than 1%. Therefore, this study is aimed to firstly understand and describe to what extent the implementation of risk management in sharia financing in As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo is, and secondly, to understand and describe the credit risk settlement scheme that occurs in sharia financing in As Sakinah Cooperation Sidoarjo.This research used qualitative method, using a case study approach. Data are collected through interview technique at main source and documents and regulation of the cooperation as secondary data source. The data were analyzed through 3 (three) steps. They are data deduction, data display and conclusion and verification.The results show that the role of the group and the joint responsibility system become the key in reducing credit risk Keywords: management, risk, credit, Ijarah, Murabahah.

Children as protective objects need to be equipped with the knowledge and behaviors associated with their salvation. One way to get kids to avoid danger is to increase the understanding of parents around toddlers about the environment for dangers and ways to overcome dangers through self-safety education. The surrounding environment is also very instrumental in the formation of child safety culture. The environment can be formed and designed, so that the child can do comfortable activities. Researchers conduct a number of observations to families of children to achieve maximum results. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the environment in supporting the growth of safety cultures in toddler-aged children. The method of study used is a qualitative method with a case study approach that is descriptive exploratory. The results showed that environmental factors held the first and foremost role in the formation of child safety culture.

Purpose of the study: The aim of this study is to examine the role of special autonomy funds in poverty reduction in Aceh and to find out how to deal with poverty in Aceh and what obstacles are faced by Aceh Government. Methodology: This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach to provide a detailed explanation and exploitation. Research data obtained through interviews and data obtained also through local and national online media and the media data were analyzed using Nvivo 12 Plus, specifically by using the NCapture feature, which allows researchers to systematically compile and analyze documents. Main Findings: This study found that the implementation of poverty reduction programs and policies is still in the form of false participation due to low transparency and accountability and economic dependence on other regions outside Aceh and the small number of medium and large industries in Aceh. Applications of this study: The findings of this study are useful for exploration by the Aceh Government in order to maximize the role of special autonomy funds in poverty alleviation efforts in Aceh. Novelty/Originality of this study: Research on the Aceh Special Independence Fund has been widely explained by a number of researchers. However, there is no publication that specifically explains the role of special self-government funds to reduce poverty. Consequently, the use of accountable and transparent special autonomy funds can reduce poverty in Aceh.

It is not easy to reach a harmonious society in a multicultural country, the absence of good communication between stakeholders and groups that are related can create conflict. One of the key variables in fostering and realizing harmony is tolerance. The Lombok region which is the majority inhabited by Muslim communities can live in harmony and side by side with Hindu community. Based on the data obtained, Lombok is the city with the highest level of tolerance. This study examines how harmony can be created there and how the role of communication in creating harmony and communication between the two groups of different religions. This research was conducted with qualitative methods with a case study approach. Research data was obtained from interviews and observations. The results show that Hindu groups in Lombok live in the Lingsar region and in the area get along well because there are several factors, namely time, intermarriage, religion, and interaction. Communication also has a role in creating harmony because the basic condition of interaction is the existence of communication.Keywords : coordinated management of meaning

The purpose of this research is to knowing the role of asset management in an attempt to managing financial independence and optimizing economic activities in Masjid Al-Akbar Surabaya. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive case study, while collecting the data uses purposive technique to specify the informan. The data used in this research isobtained by semi-structured interview, observation, and documentation. This research also uses triangulation techinique in checking the data validation. Triangulation is an examination technique which enables to use one or two another sources for validation or verification. The result of this research showing that asset management of Masjid Al-Akbar has been operated in accordance with asset management’s functions which is including planning, organizing, implementing, and controling which then result in financial indepedence of Masjid Al-Akbar Surabaya.

The independence of society is inseparable from the emergence of the independence of individuals who are in it, including women. Women who are members of the Betang Asi Credit Union Cooperative business unit in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province with their efforts to wick rattan provide a new meaning in empowering women based on local wisdom of Dayak tribe, with a focus on business based on the potential of rattan plants that grow in nature. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study provide a review of the need for women to join business institutions such as cooperatives or other institutions in marketing their products, so that the weaknesses of the findings in this study can be eliminated and the role of women in the village towards economic independence can run well without having to forget the local wisdom as a person born from Dayak tribe.

<p>The aim of the research is to determine the role of Papuan women in raising family income in the traditional market. This research was conducted in traditional markets in West Papua Province with 100 Papuan women as the object of the research. The data was collected using a depth interview and direct observation in some social economic activities at the sites. Afterward, the data were analyzed using qualitative methods with case study approach outlined thematically. The result of the research has shown that the role of Papuan women as traders is extremely crucial in raising the level of family income. Their involvement in economic activities in an informal sector (trading) is largely motivated by family economic necessities, wanting to help their husband, paying children’s tuition, a limited and inconsistent employment and income of their husband, the number of dependents in the family, and a limited level of education and skill.  </p>

The study was entitled "The Role of Social Capital as a Strategy in the Development of the Weaving Handicraft Industry in Sukarara Village". The development of the weaving industry has been started since the 1980s, but the process of developing the weaving industry is still relatively slow and has low competitiveness with handicraft industries is in Central Lombok. This study uses the theory and concept of social capital from Putnam. This study also uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The main source in this study is the weaving craftsmen. The research location is Sukarara Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. This research is a qualitative research which aims to explain and discover the role of social capital that is owned by the community in the development process of the weaving industry in the village of Sukarara. The focus of this research is identifying the role of social capital and knowing the obstacles in the development process of the weaving industry. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic requires that all elements change from the economy, health and education. The role of teachers in education is the main key to successful learning, however, during the Covid-19 pandemic, online-based learning made teachers learn to improve learning media literacy, so that they could provide solutions to a fun learning process. In this research, we want to find answers about how classroom teachers' strategies in increasing media literacy during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The primary data source for the researcher was all class teachers in both Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Collecting data using three techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the research data using the analysis of Miles and Huberman. Combined with the Quin Patton data validity test, namely data triangulation. The results showed that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik increased media literacy individually and institutionally. Meanwhile, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Nur Junwangi Sidoarjo individually. For homeroom teacher, learning media at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Azhar Changing Gresik Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, Youtube and Whatsapp media. Meanwhile, in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Nur Junwangi Sidoarjo, the learning process is still focused on using the Whatsapp Group. In addition, there are obstacles for classroom teachers in improving learning media literacy, including lack of internet quota, and infrastructure.

Al-Huda Mosque, in Dewi Sartika street no.01, carries outsome constructive activities. The mosque takmir always strives to improve the advancement of the mosque. The focus of this study is the role of the mosquetakmir in increasing mosque prosperity in terms of idarah, imarah, and ri'ayah. This study employs qualitative methods with a case study approach. The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the roles of takmir in increasing mosque prosperity in terms of idarah, among others, are planning a program ofworkingcompetently; forming the mosque management through a deliberation; running administration role effectively. Second, the roles of takmir in increasing the prosperity of the mosque in terms of imarah, among others, are holding magdzoh and gairu magdzoh; organizing Islamic education and teaching; organizing da'wah; holding social activities. Third, the roles of takmir in increasing the prosperity of the mosque in terms of ri'ayah among others, are completing mosque facilities and infrastructure; maintaining cleanliness, attractiveness, and security of the mosque; maintaining the appearance of the mosque.
