The article conceptualizes the problem of the place and the role of technology in the life of humanity and its significance in today’s society. The analysis is based on the plays written in the 2000’s by Jesus Campos Garcia, one of the most beloved modern Spanish playwrights. Campos Garcia’s theatre is always closely linked to relevant socio-cultural problems and represents the playwright’s comprehensive introspection towards how specific the influence of modern technology – primarily digital technology – on modern life is; his self-consciousness. An exemplary work in this respect is his existential drama “Naufragar en Internet” (1999) followed by Campos Garcia’s essay “La tecnología como metáfora” (2004), in which, early into the era of active computerization he addresses the questions of the correlation between the real and the virtual; the influence of technology on everyday life and the opening up of possibilities; the existential fears and aspirations of humanity – the fear of non-existence, thirst for immortality, etc. – reflected in modern technology. The present topic is further developed in the playwright’s later works (“[email protected]” 2008; “...y la casa crecía”, 2016).

Islam acts for its adherents to conduct studies on the behavior or forms of circulation and changes that occur, both in the context of the universe and those that occur between fellow humans, as well as the development of modern technology. In connection with this understanding, the requested discussion of Islam, the words requested by the Prophet Muhammad, required compulsory knowledge for Muslims. Islam contributes to science between other verses in the Qur'an which encourages Muslims to develop science. Islam through the Qur'an is the basis of epistemology and ideology for Muslim scientists who connect their attitudes and relationships to transcendence with the creator. Expect that there is a spiritual dimension in dzikir and fear for Allah. Muslim appreciation of the amazing knowledge of the early days of Islam. At this time Muslims were able to play a role and master various disciplines. Islamic Ummah has a very prominent role but has differences in politics and internal crises in involving thinking, the role of Muslims is declining and very alarming. The role of Islam in the development of science and technology adds there are two namely First, making Islamic Aqeedah a paradigm of science. The paradigm that represents Muslims, is not a secular paradigm as it is now. Second, making Islamic Islam (born from Islamic Aqeedah) as a standard for the use of science and technology in everyday life.

AbstractOur response to the commentators covers four general issues: (1) How useful is our proposed conceptualization of the real-life/laboratory controversy in terms of the contrast between the correspondence and storehouse metaphors? (2) What is the relationship between these two metaphors? (3) What are the unique implications of the correspondence metaphor for memory assessment and theory? (4) What are the nature and role of memory metaphors in memory research? We stress that the correspondence metaphor can be usefully exploited independent of the real-life/laboratory controversy, but that a variety of other metaphors, including the storehouse, should also be utilized in order to more fully capture the myriad facets and functions of memory in everyday life.

The world is witnessing dramatic changes in the digital age, marking the advancement and rise of digital technologies that enable more efficient processing, transmission, storage and review of information. As digital technology is increasingly affecting all aspects of social life, innovation is considered the key to making competitiveness and sustainble development of individuals, organizations and the whole society. Innovation is the process of creating new values by applying new solutions to existing problems. And innovation culture is an enviroment that nurtures, promotes and realizes innovation. This shows that the formation of an individual’s innovation culture is essential to be able to build an innovation culture of the organization and even of society. Higher education is also not out of this trend. Therefore, it is necessary to study the innovation culture in the field of higher education, first, the university lecturer’s innovation culture. The article aims to clarify some issues related to innovation culture. On that basis, the content of the concept of university lecturer’s innovation culture will be analyzed, simultaneously, the impacts of the digital age on higher education in general and university lecturer in particular will be mentioned to highlight the role of university lecturer’s innovation culture in the new context of society.

The school defines a system that is too complex to be reduced to functions and practices. Humanity saw the school as a ‘multi-dimensional structure’ in its development adventure; ıts necessity was generally considered to be ‘vital’. Until the last century, there was hardly any serious criticism that the school was unnecessary. Especially the differences such as the innovations of the new century, the monist perspective, the possibilities of the digital world gave the opportunity to discuss the role of the school and its current role was frequently brought up. Even though the evaluations made over the school with the works of thinkers such as Gatto and Illich have a fair share, it will be seen that these are criticisms developed on the basis of ‘negative examples’. In the digital age where the vehicle is rich and purpose is impoverished, the school must be reconstructed as a challenging metaphor. There is a need for a vision of a school that prioritizes the human with wisdom without blessing the machine. In this context, our study regards the school of the future as the most critical institutional phenomenon for human rejuvenation ‘despite all’. School as a natural system is considered to be the strongest structure to rebuild the future against actual and popular ‘negativities’.

This article discusses the role of parents in the digital age. The digital Era is characterized by the presence of technology, where there is an increase in the speed and flow of knowledge turnover in the economy and community life. Parents who are part of the information society cannot avoid that children in the digital age never escape from objects related to technology. The increase of digital technology in children's developmental life invaded many development phases that the child should achieve. Technology makes their lives faster (instant) and more efficient. Entertainment technologies such as television, internet, video games, iPod, iPad, and others have grown so rapidly that it makes a family hardly aware of the significant impact and lifestyle changes in their families. The education undertaken anciently differed from today's education. As new knowledge and technologies and cultural shifts are caused by thought patterns that are influenced by information obtained in a very easy way. It is demanding that parents always update/upgrade their knowledge in order to give direction to their children in a wise way. Parents need to accompany to avoid unwanted things so that the concern of parents and educators of early childhood in the digital age is the importance of the introduction of religious values, local wisdom, so as to fortify the child from global influences.

AbstractThis study describes the need to reconstruct the role of Islamic educationteachers in the post-truth era. This research is a descriptive study using aqualitative approach. In the era of post-truth, hoax, bullshit and radical ideological propaganda a threat in life. So the role of the teacher needs to be reconstructedbecause of the conditions and demands of the times. Society in the post-truth eracannot be separated from the digital world. Likewise, students as the millennialgeneration who live in the digital era need to get attention and bang from theteacher. In the post-truth era teachers are not only enough to have basicqualifications and competencies as educators. So that in this study the teacherbesides having competence as an ideal educator, teachers need to be literate intechnology and media literacy, spirit of nationalism, become educators and jihadisin the real world and cyberspace. Inspired by Herbert Simon's notion of nearly decomposable systems, researchers have examined modularity as a powerful approach to manage technological change in product innovation. We articulate this approach as the hierarchy-of-parts architecture and explain how it emphasizes decomposition of a design into loosely coupled parts and subsequent aggregation of these into an industrial product. To realize the scale benefits of modularity, firms successively freeze design specifications before production and therefore only allow limited windows of functionality design and redesign. This makes it difficult to take advantage of the increased speed by which digitized products can be developed and modified. To address this problem, we draw on Christopher Alexander's notion of design patterns to introduce a complementary approach to manage technological change that is resilient to digital technology. We articulate this approach as the network-of-patterns architecture and explain how it emphasizes generalization of ideas into patterns and subsequent specialization of patterns for different design purposes. In response to the increased digitization of industrial products, we demonstrate the value of complementing hierarchy-of-parts thinking with network-of-patterns thinking through a case study of infotainment architecture at an automaker. As a result, we contribute to the literature on managing products in the digital age: we highlight the properties of digital technology that increase the speed by which digitized products can be redesigned; we offer the notion of architectural frames and propose hierarchy-of-parts and network-of-patterns as frames to support innovation of digitized products; and, we outline an agenda for future research that reconsiders the work of Simon and Alexander as well as their followers to address key challenges in innovating digitized products.

The use of technological devices has become natural, which is why technology seems to become a natural learning environment. Many studies show that technologically-rich learning environments improve learning outcomes. It has been shown that technological integration helps to create more authentic learning environments, in which students are more motivated to participate. Digital world has greater opportunities for communication, collaboration, and problem-solving and have more opportunities to expand and even amplify thinking, thus changing the role of students by building knowledge rather than reproducing information. Given the possible disadvantages of using digital devices permanently, it is important to find a good balance between constructively using digital technology and keeping it to avoid distraction and concentration. However, some research shows that electronic learning does not differ in effectiveness or efficiency from traditional learning. This chapter presents an in-depth and reasoned analysis of cognitive learning of university students using Web 2.0 tools.
