The article examines the conceptual support of the management mechanism of the integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex. It is proved that the conceptual guidelines of the mechanism of management of the integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex should take into account the principles of the strategy of its sustainable development. It is substantiated that the basic mechanism in the management system of the agro-industrial complex is an interconnected set of tools used by business entities in the process of solving certain tasks under the management's influence on the object, with the planned result. The structural and functional aspect of the management mechanism of the integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex is studied. A typical scheme of the management system in the agro-industrial complex has been developed. The peculiarities and specifics of the mechanism of management of the integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex are clarified. The secondary role of infrastructure in the system of social reproduction, on the one hand, and the need for its modern accelerated development, on the other, determine the main contradictions of the management mechanism of integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex. -industrial policy in the context of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the imbalance of the reproductive structure of the complex, the underdevelopment of major industries and segments of the agro-industrial complex of the country. It is substantiated that development management in the agro-industrial complex covers normative, legal, organizational, structural, functional, production, investment, innovation, economic, social and environmental aspects. The priority of the agro-industrial development management system in the context of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the aggressive policy of the external environment is to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth, increase socio-economic standards and ensure food security.

Globalization of the economy, revolutionary technological changes in production processes, and trade liberalization necessitate the deepening of research on theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation of new models to manage industrial development. The paper highlights a number of theoretical provisions that can serve as conceptual guidelines for the modernization of the industrial management system in Ukraine in the context of modern globalization and technological challenges. In particular, the paper emphasizes that the intellectualization of industrial production necessitates the intellectualization of management processes. The specifics of strategizing the innovative development of the industry are considered. Recommendations for the formation of a "scientific and information shell" of the management system based on the coordination of government, business, educational and scientific institutions, NGOs in the modernization of industrial policy and implementation of a new model of industrial development management are suggested. The basic functions of modernization of the industrial management system (worldview, epistemological, genetic, adaptive, social, economic, ecological, and political) are highlighted. The fundamental schemes to implement the new model of management of industrial development and its intellectualization at the macro level are offered. The importance of the regional level of modernization of industrial development management is noted. In this context, the concept of «smart specialization» based on the idea of taking full account of the benefits and capacity of a particular region, and «good governance» concept is emphasized to deserve special attention.

The local and world practice shows that clustering as a form of association of business entities for development of industrial and business activities is an important direction for development of agri-food sector, as well as the arrangement of territories based on efficient use of land, labor, material, technical and financial resources. The article dwells of studies of theoretical and methodological basis of megacluster development of agro-industrial complex. It has been determined that currently four possible concepts (paradigms) can be applied regarding agro-industrial complex (AIC): AIC as a self-sufficient system, AIC as a megacorporation, AIC as a specific market, AIC as a separate society. Study has been carried out and an integrated layout has been designed for arrangement and functioning of an integrated management system for agro-industrial complex sustainable development. Groups of factors determining stability of short-term and long-term development of agro-industrial complex as a megacluster are identified. A number of principles for sustainable functioning of agro-industrial complex as a megacluster were formed: Infrastructure balance, management system improvement, rational territorial and intrasectoral distribution of production, balanced agro-industrial production in terms of resources, etc. These principles and their interpretation have been formulated for agro-industrial complex as a megacluster for the first time. Their novelty consists both in aggregate selection, reflecting stable functioning of agro-industrial complex as a megacluster under new conditions, and in reflecting the most significant aspects of megacluster's activity being the main links in its sustainable functioning chain.

Chapter Five clarifies theoretically the overlaps and distinctions between problematizing contemporary mass incarceration in terms of capitalist production, on the one hand, and in terms of social reproduction, on the other. Greater precision in this regard opens out the question rather than assumption of “racial” significance and signification today, specifically with reference to the “prison industrial complex” as a process of genocide—systematic extermination through arrested life and social incapacitation. Chapter Five concludes by examining the manipulation of prison mail in acts of retaliation and torture: wherein punishment does not operate primarily to discipline a labor force but to deaden those who refuse to be neutralized. Considering the letter as sign of living potential in this context, this chapter ultimately views the violence it magnetizes not as the negation but as the most apparent “evidence” of the letter’s social force.

The declaration of national projects aims at developing methodological and methodological guidelines for planning and managing their development and implementation. The main challenge encountered in building a long-term development management system is that the strategic planning methodology at the national level, the efforts in large degrees of domestic scientists, has been established quite long ago. At the same time, the methodological results obtained are untapped. It may be assumed that this is due to the inadequacy of the existing development management system, the management structure requirements, the requirements for the functions performed. This article addresses some aspects of the methodology for the development of Nzprojects that influence the principles and methods of establishing a management system. In our view, the nature of the Nzprojects and strategies for their implementation is a prerequisite and basis for the formation, on the one hand, of “mega-strategies” for national development, and on the other hand, “mega-strategies” for the development of mesoeconomic systems. The development of strategic management at the meso level is the subject of improved governance. The main subject of strategic management at meso-level is development of development centers. It can be said that as a way to develop, development strategies at the national level are shaped as a mix of meso strategies.

Abstract | The challenge of interdisciplinary intellectual and strategic work in the extractive industries is particularly acute at the interface of research and social activism. Numerous social movements which are dedicated to sustainability fail to ‘connect the dots’ between their campaigns and broader political-economic and political-ecological visions. This is becoming a critical challenge in Africa, where the extreme damage done by mining and fossil fuels has generated impressive resistance. However, the one obvious place to link these critiques from African activists was the Alternative Mining Indaba in Cape Town in February 2015, and a survey of narratives at that event leads to pessimism about interdisciplinary politics. The potential for much greater impact and deeper critiques of unsustainable extractivism lies in greater attention to combining social reproduction and production (as do eco-feminists), and to tackling social, economic, political and ecological factors with a more explicit structuralist critique and practical toolkit. Areas such as energy, economics and climate are ripe for linkages. One reason for optimism is a climate justice declaration made by leading civil society activists in Maputo in April 2015.
