Abstract Every method of deformational nanostructuring is characterized by typical scheme of the processing. One of the main aspects of such methods is the behavior of the processed metal on the contact surface with a tool. The aim of this study is to analyse the distribution of deformation from the contact surface of the workpiece to the bulk in different methods of deformational nanostructuring. High carbon steel was chosen for the analysis. Simulation was performed in ABAQUS software. Methods based on different kinds of deformation were chosen for the comparison: method based on simple shear in one deformation zone, method based on simple shear with torsion, method based on simple shear in two deformation zones with torsion, and continuous method of combined deformational processing by drawing with torsion. Data of the distribution of main strains, tangential strains, equivalent strains, and the Mizes stress from the contact surface to the depth of 0.05 mm to the bulk was obtained. The results of simulation can be used for prediction of steel behavior under different kinds of deformational processing.

The article presents studies of the logistics structure of commodity market, based on the provisions of the general parametric theory of systems (GPTS). The logistics analysis of commodity movement on the market is presented and typical scheme of goods movement on a logistic chain is offered. Considering market logistics as an organizational system, the article presents its parametric model in the form of a matrix, the elements of which are logistic entities with their connections. It is proved, that the main basic element of the matrix structure of logistics system of commodity movement is a business entity that participates in the production and promotion of goods on the market. The types of business entities, which operating in the logistics system of the commodity market, are systematized. It is determined that business entities, which are distributed in logistics chains and their links, perform certain logistics functions due to their properties. It has been proved that business entities, which can be included as elements of the matrix market structure, should have the functions of performing logistics services. The content of these services is revealed and analyzed. The use of the corresponding target function in calculating the optimal logistics chains of commodity movement in the market is substantiated. The application of this approach, based on the multi-attribute utility theory (MAUT) is shown. It is determined that the goal of the proposed target function, by which the value added chain is calculated, is its maximization in the supply chain. Calculations for the target function allow you to determine the optimal route of commodity movement in the market and the relevant logistics entities through which this route passes. Thus, it is proposed to organize (highlight) the most profitable logistics chains of the market, which will significantly reduce the logistics costs of commodity movement, as well as reduce the risks of logistics barriers.

Building techniques in the medieval walls of AlmeríaAlmería was one of the most important cities in al-Andalus, a circumstance that was possible thanks to the strength of its port. Its foundation as an urban entity during the Caliphate of Córdoba originated a typical scheme of an Islamic city organized by a medina and a citadel, both walled. Subsequent city’s growths, due to the creation of two large suburbs commencing in the eleventh century, also received defensive works, creating a system of fortifications that was destined to defend the place during the rest of the Middle Ages. In this work we will analyse the construction techniques used in these military works, which cover a wide period from the beginning of the tenth century until the end of the fifteenth century. Although ashlar stone was used in the Caliphate fortification, in most of these constructions bricklayer techniques were used, more modest but very useful. In this way, the masonry and rammed earth technique were predominant, giving rise to innumerable constructive phases that in recent times are being studied with archaeological methodology, thus to know better their evolution and main characteristics.

Treatment of rainwater industrial wastewater during the operation of oil pipelines and petroleum products’ pipelines is a complex technological process that involves water purification from dissolved and emulsified oil products, oil, suspended solids and other polluting components. Organizations of the Transneft system have implemented a highly efficient technology for treatment of oily effluents, which makes it possible to reduce the level of pollutants to standard values. In order to assess the efficiency of the treatment facilities, an industrial, environmental and analytical control has been organized, which is carried out at all stages of the wastewater treatment and disinfection (after each block of equipment). Also, in order to optimize the performance of this procedure, a specialized program has been developed that allows for an operational analysis of the control results, as well as a comparative analysis of data (values of pollutant concentrations and treatment efficiency) at each stage of the process. According to the measurement results, the average indicators of the concentration of pollutants at all stages of purification are calculated for the observation period. According to these indicators, graphs of their compliance with regulatory requirements and comparison graphs with the typical scheme are plotted, and based on the results obtained, a conclusion is drawn about the efficiency of the treatment facilities for the selected observation period and based on the annual results.

The development of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian states led to the introduction of rail and ferry transportation. It is important to note that the current normative documentation does not fully cover the issues of transporting combined trains by sea. This can lead to a violation of the traffic safety of both the railway ferry and the transport of containers as part of combined trains by sea. In this connection, we investigated the dynamic loading of a container as part of a combined train when transported by a railway ferry. To ensure the stability of the container relative to the frame, we suggested an improvement of the load-bearing structure of a flat wagon. Additionally, we suggested the use of a viscous linkage between containers with the aim of reducing their dynamic load. To justify the suggested solutions, we carried out a mathematical modelling of the container dynamic load. The calculation was performed in MathCad. Due to the fact that the container has its own degree of freedom when transported by sea, the accelerations were separately determined for the supporting structure of the flat wagon and for the container. We found that the total amount of acceleration that acted on the container was 3.57 m/s2 (0.36 g) and on the load-bearing structure of the wagon was 2.47 m/s2 (0.25 g) which were, respectively, 38% and 23% less than the acceleration values in the typical scheme of their interaction. To determine the fields of acceleration distribution relative to the load-bearing structure of a flat wagon with containers, we carried out computer modelling of their dynamic load. The maximum percentage of discrepancy between the accelerations obtained by mathematical and computer modelling was 17.7%. The study will contribute to the creation of recommendations for the safe transport of combined trains by sea, as well as to increasing the efficiency of combined transport through international transport corridors.

This paper proposes a new adaptive watermarking scheme for digital images, which has the properties of blind extraction, invisibility, and robustness against attacks. The typical scheme for invisibility and robustness consisted of two main techniques: finding local positions to be watermarked and mixing or embedding the watermark into the pixels of the locations. In finding the location, however, our scheme uses a global space such that the multiple watermarking data is spread out over all four lowest-frequency subbands, resulting from n-level Mallat-tree 2D (dimensional) DWT, where n depends on the amount of watermarking data and the resolution of the host image, without any further process to find the watermarking locations. To embed the watermark data into the subband coefficients, weighting factors are used according to the type and energy of each subband to adjust the strength of the watermark, so we call this an adaptive scheme. To examine the ability of the proposed scheme, images with various resolutions are tested for various attacks, both pixel-value changing attacks and geometric attacks. With experimental results and comparison to the existing works we show that the proposed scheme has better performance than the previous works, except those which specialize in certain types of attacks.
