This research aims to analyse the determination of rugby game results, as a consequence of territorial dominance or ball possession, by the teams participating in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The objectives of our scientific approach were to record the variables linked to possession and territorial dominance in the rugby games and to process and interpret the results. In this applicative research, 48 matches were analysed, tracking total territorial dominance and sequential territorial dominance in the last 10 minutes of the game, as well as total possession and sequential possession in the last 10 minutes of the game. The research methods used are: scientific documentation, observation, measurement, statistical and mathematical method, graphical method. The results obtained from data processing and interpretation are contradictory. Thus, we have results displayed accordingly, when the team with total and sequential territorial dominance and superior total and sequential possession wins the game, but also when the team with total and sequential territorial dominance and superior total and sequential possession loses the game. We have results when the team with total territorial dominance and superior total possession wins the game, which is normal, but also results when the team with territorial dominance only in the last 10 minutes and superior possession only in the last 10 minutes wins the game. We might consider that these results are not a first, that they represent the exception, but what the research emphasises are the proportions between the results considered normal and those contradictory, which may generate questions and answers about the competition strategy.

The purpose of the research is represented by the improvement and the evaluation of the functional capacity aimed at the students from the economic and technical non-profile higher education, aged 19-22. We hypothesized that if a program which should include homogenous and continuous efforts is systematically applied, significant results can be obtained in improving the functional profile of the students. In this regard, 82 students from two universities participated in the research. In order to carry out the research we used methods of analysis and interpretation of the data obtained: the scientific documentation, the pedagogical observation, the statistical-mathematical method and the graphical method. The comparison of the results obtained in the final tests aimed to verify the efficiency of the training means proposed and applied in the experiment. From the analysis of the results obtained we notice that there are statistically significant differences regarding the functional capacity of the students.

The present research is a sequence of the “Coaching Rugby 7s to Girls” project, which aims to improve the skills of coaches interested in girls’ rugby. There are only 4 women’s rugby teams in Romania with about 60-70 players, of which only 30% are from our country. The small number of females who practise this sport makes the selection and competition difficult. Our research aims to highlight the vulnerabilities faced by rugby coaches and female rugby athletes and find solutions for eliminating or diminishing prejudices like parents’ fears of letting their daughters practise a sport that can be considered tough. The research was carried out over a period of 3 weeks. The participants are 34 female rugby players and 31 rugby specialists. The research methods used are: scientific documentation, survey, mathematical and statistical method, graphical method. The results provide important data for knowing the challenges faced by coaches and women’s rugby 7s players in their activity and possible solutions to reduce them. Based on the results obtained, we consider it necessary to develop a strategy to promote women’s rugby among the school population, highlighting the formative values of this sport with the goal of changing the mentality about the game of rugby and convincing girls to practise it.

Regulation of the financial services authority (OJK) No. 31/POJK.05/2016 on Venture had arranged that the financial services agency on the basis of the law of pledge is in coaching and supervision OJK. Yet the existence of laws – invitation to Governing Enterprise pawn shops causing business activities conducted by the above parties are not yet regulated. The condition is feared could cause harm to the consumer society. The purpose of this research is to know the procedures, mechanisms, protection of goods and guarantee the consumer on an informal pledge financing, methods of determination of the cost of maintenance of the goods and the goods of the execution mechanism of the pledge as well as protection for the collateral items are viewed from the side of the consumer by looking at laws-invitations and Sharia. To find out whether the pledge have gotten permission from OJK. This research uses qualitative research methods with the study of library research, field data and simulations. The approach used in this study is the empirical juridical approach. Elaboration upon the results is discussed further in this article.

A simple, approximate but practical graphical method is proposed for estimating the storage coefficient independently from the transmissivity value, provided that quasi-steady state flow data are available from a pumping test. In the past, quasi-steady state flow distance-drawdown data have been used for the determination of transmissivity only. The method is applicable to confined and leaky aquifers. The application of the method has been performed for various aquifer test data available in the groundwater literature. The results are within the practical limits of approximation compared with the unsteady state flow solutions.

By using a standard graphical method values of Km and V may be found that are independent of the conditions and assumptions that the total substrate concentration approximates to its free concentration and that Km is much larger than the enzyme concentration. The procedure is also applicable to the determination of equilibrium binding parameters of a ligand to a macromolecule.

Recent accomplishments in advancement of accurate astrometric reference star catalogues, development of digital imaging technology, high accuracy tiltmeter technology, and geocentric coordinate availability provided by GNSS, have made possible accurate, fast and automated determination of vertical deflections using astrometric methods. Zenith cameras for this kind of measurements have been developed or are being developed by several research groups. The paper describes a research project by Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation, intended to design a portable digital zenith camera for vertical deflection determination with 0.1” expected accuracy. Camera components are described, proposed data processing algorithm and preliminary results, obtained with prototype instrument, are presented.

The purpose of this research is to study and to analyze the pattern of tourist destinations to determine the excellence of attractions in each district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, as a tourist attraction. This research uses qualitative research methods with sampling techniques using positive sampling. Data sources used are informants, tourist attractions, and documents. Determination of the advantages of a tourist attraction in a regency and even in the Special Region of Yogyakarta aims to increase the selling power or visitors of a tourist attraction and become an icon or mascot in the regency or region in Yogyakarta Special Region. From the results of the discussion, it was concluded that the most preeminent in the Yogyakarta Special Region was Tourism, Beach and Temple Villages. Keywords: Tourist Patterns, Tourist Attraction, Tourist Asset, Potential Resources
