In the research undertaken, the analysis categorised risk in the experience of the millennial generation of backpackers. An attempt was made to systematise it on the basis of the cognitive as well as emotional characteristics presented by the respondents. The research was conducted between 2018-2020. A non-random selection was used to acquire respondents called snowball sampling. 409 Polish millennial backpackers were found and interviewed online, and from this code keys were then extracted, assigned to meaningful categories, and thematic ranges were defined. The analysis of the collected qualitative material was used to establish a typology of risk for millennial backpacking. Analysis of the collected material on backpacking allowed five coded risk categories to be extracted. The first one was the backpacker's attitude towards travel; the second a search for autonomy and independence; the third selective calculation in terms of ‘profit and loss’, the balance determining behaviour; the fourth connected with the emotional needs of backpackers and the search for impressions; the fifth with external conditions involving risk related to environmental and cultural features of the reception area. Typological systematization of risk in backpacking allows the needs of this groups of travellers to be understood and service provision to be adapted to the requirements of a particular generation.

Abstract This paper presents a proposal of simultaneous consideration of load and wear associated with it , of tribological systems of ship main engines (intended for ship propulsion) . Based on results of investigations it was assumed that both the load Q (i.e. a cause of wear ) and the wear Z (i.e. an effect of load occurrence) considered in a given time t (0 ≤ t ≤ tn) are random variables Qt and Zt ,respectively. There was characterized operational principle of ship main engines in definite external conditions (WZ) as well as consequences of excessive load of engines. Three hypotheses highlighting relations existing between load and wear of the above mentioned systems, have been proposed. The first of them deals with explanation of stochastic relation between load and wear, the second highlights why it is possible to assume that the load Qt and the wear Zt are positively correlated , and the third - why it is possible to assume that coefficient of correlation between Qt and Zt may be taken close to one.

Municipal cooperation is important for transformation countries, like Russia, which have to develop legal, institutional and political environments for public service activities. The authors recommend FOCJs as an instrument for coordinated municipal public service provision. To determine the suitability of FOCJs the analyst has to investigate the relation between FOCJ theory, their financing possibilities, the fiscal effects, and the legal forms in which FOCJs can operate in Russia. The authors define several forms of FOCJs and sort out appropriate public enterprises of private and public law for Russian FOCJ. To analyse the establishment, the operations, and the competition between FOCJs the authors present three types of models. One relates to the establishment of an FOCJ, the second concentrates on financing service activities, and the third model deals with competition among FOCJs and demonstrates the effects of different ways of finance. The article concludes with elaborating recommendations for financing FOCJ under conditions in Russia.

Tempeh industry is a typical household business that requires little investment and has few workers. Efficient marketing could optimize the income of tempeh’s producers. This research aims to understand the marketing efficiency and factors that affect the purchasing margin of tempeh in selected areas. This research will study the value of farmer’s share and the marketing margin of tempeh to evaluate the commerce efficiency. The sampels are the producers and sellers. 58 tempeh’s producers are selected by the simple random sampling method. The sellers, on the other hand, are chosen using the snowball sampling, a technique that tracks down the marketing process. The variable studied in the  research are as follows: 1) producer’s tempeh’s selling cost, 2) tempeh’s selling price on commercial institution, 3) marketing cost, 4) total amount of sold products, 5) numbers of  marketing  institution  where the  product  passes,  6)  the  marketing margin, 7) the farmer’s share, and 8) marketing efficiency. The research finds three marketing channels on the case study areas. The first channel is from the producers to tempeh. The second channel is form producers to retailers to consumers. The third channel is from producers to peddlers to consumers. By using the farmer’s share, the calculation of commerce efficiency. The leading cause is the lack of middlemen. Moreover, the double regression analysis show the retailers tempeh selling cost (X4) to be the dominant factor in the marketing margin of tempeh.

This article defends four claims. The first is that in the last few decades, two waves of democratic innovation based on random selection must be differentiated by their partly different concrete devices, embodying different social dynamics and pointing toward different kinds of democracy. The second claim is that the rationale of the first wave, based on randomly selected minipublics, largely differs from the dynamic of political sortition in Athens, as it points toward deliberative democracy rather than radical democracy. Conversely, empowered sortition processes that have emerged during the second wave capture better the spirit of radical Athenian democratic traditions. The third claim is normative: these empowered sortition processes are more promising for a real democratization of democracy. The last claim is that any proposal of a legislature by lot must rely on this lesson when trying to defend a normatively convincing and politically realistic perspective.

AbstractThis study aims to describe the harmonious model of the relationship between foster parents and children of migrant workers' families in educating them about Islam. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques were used to determine the informants in this study. The data collection techniques use in depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentaries. While the data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis technique of the Miles & Huberman model. This study produces a picture that the harmonious model of the relationship between foster parents and children of migrant workers' families in Islamic religious care in the village of Sungonlegowo is shown by: first, Badrus and Kina's attention to the welfare of Taufiq and Tahmid, including the need for food and school. Second, Badrus and Kina are responsive to the needs of Taufiq and Tahmid, namely the need for Smartphones and Motorcycles. Third, Badrus and Kina took the time to do activities with Taufiq and Tahmid, from day to night for Kina, and from afternoon to night for Badrus. Fourth, Badrus and Kina showed enthusiasm for Taufiq and Tahmid's behavior by giving praise and reward. Fifth, Badrus and Kina are sensitive to the emotional needs of Taufiq and Tahmid, namely the love needs of parents. Keywords: Harmony, Islamic Education, TKI Child. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan model hubungan yang harmonis antara orang tua asuh dan anak-anak keluarga pekerja migran dalam mendidik mereka tentang Islam. The thesis of this paper is that Polish humanities exists and is doing well in institutional sense but at the same time it has no social impact. That being so, on one hand we have dozens if not hundreds of units in which thousands of academics work. On the other hand we observe a limited external influence of these institutions and their employees. This impressive institutional and at the same time personal development seems to ignore external goals and functions or undervalue them in comparison to the institutions’ own development and functioning. There are many reasons for this, and not only academic institutions themselves should be blamed for it. It can be claimed that the modern world seems to see humanities as something inimportant, and it happens due to various conditions. One can see a parallel between the satae of the humanities and the state of the culture in general with the whole socio-cultural context, including the humanities. The article consists of five parts. The first one is about the reasons of the humanities institutional development. In the second part, I refer to the character of social sciences and humanities. In the third part, I mention the motivation to practice them. The fourth part deals with external conditions of practicing social sciences and humanities, and the fifth with their important tasks.

The following is the third column in a series on meeting the social and emotional needs of gifted students. In this series, I have provided a number of ideas that teachers, parents, and counselors can consider as they work on behalf of gifted students. Some of the ideas are reasonably well researched, while others are rooted in my professional experiences.

Drawing on my experience of managing a research project on domestic violence service provision to women from black and minority ethnic backgrounds, I elaborate three examples to illustrate the relevance and application of group-analytic concepts and interpretations. First, I outline some striking resonances between the research topic and process within the research team, focusing on the negotiation of similarities and differences within this team arising from its commitment to feminist antiracist work, and how tensions between these two foundational ‘group illusions’ were realized when convening support groups. The third example addresses how dilemmas around safety, secrecy, containment and entrapment came to figure within the research team process, and describes strategies to resolve these difficulties. The paper ends by reviewing the relative compatibility between group analysis and other frameworks for the analysis of, and intervention within, social change projects.
