Human intelligence and talent are notions that have been studied in various disciplines like psychology and education overtime. Developing better understanding on these concepts pass through self-exploration of mankind and researchers use fundamental and complex scientific process skills in this process. In this regard, the study aims at developing a measurement tool by which indicators of gifted and talented students can be observed in a valid and reliable way. The research hypothesized four factored giftedness structures and then following technical operations and statistical computations were performed. Item poll was created after an extended literature review and analysis of existing evaluation scales. Items were revised, modified, improved and probable problematic ones were discarded throughout pilot study, and final template of the scale was obtained. Data was collected from 258 preschool/kindergarten children in Antalya province. Findings revealed sufficient and strong evidence for validity and reliability that the measurement tool developed was theoretically supported and a good measure of giftedness.

The aim of this research is to bring the concept of Self-Expectation for Organizational Improvement” (SEOI) to the field of organizational psychology and to develop a measurement tool by forming the theoretical-empirical background of this concept. In the study, firstly, the theoretical framework related to the concept of SEOI was established and the concept of SEOI defined as follows; independent of the planned actions of the organization management, self-expectations that the individual has designed completely in his/her own mind and that there will be positive improvements and developments within himself/herself, with the individuals around him/her, and in the organization. Subsequently, a pool of items was created in accordance with the theoretical framework, a draft scale was obtained and a pilot study was conducted with 87 employees to determine the validity and reliability of this draft scale. In the analysis, a two-factor structure was obtained from the draft scale and it was found that this structure met the reliability and validity criteria. This factor structure was then tested on the main sample of 274 employees. All findings of the statistical analyses on the data obtained from the pilot study and the main sample showed that the developed scale had scientific validity and reliability and the scale was sufficient to be used in scientific researches.

Gifted and talented students have very distinctive characteristics, namely having high intelligence, task commitment, and creativity. Some of these points then raise questions about how their social skills are, especially regarding interpersonal conflict solving skills. Often the advantages in the intellectual field make the assumption that the social skills of gifted and talented students are lacking. This study aims to determine the profile of interpersonal conflict solving skills of gifted and talented students at SMAN Kota Malang. The research approach used a quantitative research approach with survey research techniques and total sampling techniques. The sample used was 162 students. The research instrument used a scale of interpersonal conflict solving skills that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the most gifted and talented students' interpersonal conflict solving skills at SMAN in Malang were in the high category, namely 76%. The very high category was 22%, the moderate category was 2%, and the low and very low category was 0%. The results of this study can be used by counseling teachers in planning counseling services for gifted and talented students.
This study aims to disclose the relationship between the feeling of psychological security among talented adolescents at Gifted and Talented Schools in Ajloun Governorate/Jordan and Academic Achievement level, and its relationship to some demographic factors: (gender, class). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, it was used Maslow scale of feeling of security, and it was developed by Al-diwani and Al-dirani (1983) to match the Jordanian Arab environment, and to identify and ensure validity and reliability, the sample consisted of 100 talented students were selected randomly from class of supreme basic and secondary schools. It was analyzed the data through the arithmetic averages standard deviations and value of (t), the multi variance analysis correlation coefficient between psychological security & academic achievement, and the study came up with some results including: that the level of psychological security between the talented students ranged between medium, high. And there is statistically significant effect when (α≤0.05) between psychological security and its dimensions at class factor for the seventh class (12 years) and there is statistically significant effect when α≤0.05 between psychological security and its dimensions at the gender factor in favor of females. And there is a positive correlation relationship between psychological security and its dimensions and academic achievement among the talented. And the results were discussed in the light of the theoretical framework & previous studies, it was suggested some recommendations on the basis of the results of the study.

This poster presents a pilot study that analyzed a small corpus of informed consent forms used in research with children, adolescents, and adult early readers using Coh-Metrix, a readability measurement tool. Recommendations for increasing readability of consent forms in order to improve the informed consent process are also provided.

This study explored understandings shared by fifth-grade gifted students as they read the book Restart, which explores bullying. Students read, created representations, and discussed the text. Grounded by Langer’s stances of envisionment, this descriptive case study analyzed student representations and conversations. Each of the stances was represented with most responses being represented in Stances 1 (getting a sense of the text), 2 (interpreting text), and 4 (analyzing the text). In addition, most students viewed bullies and their behavior as being in a fixed state, which was tied to the perceived power a bully held. The results from this study have implications for teachers who work with gifted and talented students, counselors who work with students in mental health and resilience programs, and the collaboration of these school personnel.

Objective: According to the family systems theory, triangulation is defined as reflecting and conveying the tension between two individuals to a third individual to reduce the existing tension, stress, and anxiety. This study was conducted to adapt the “Triangular Relationship Inventory” to Turkish and to assess psychometric properties. Method: The sample of the study included 337 individuals (234 women and 103 men) aged between 18 and 25 years. The structure validity of the inventory was evaluated with the confirmatory factor analysis and reliability was evaluated with Chronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient, test–retest method, and item analyses. Results: The result showed that the Turkish form of the Triangular Relationship Inventory showed similar psychometric properties to the original inventory. The structure which consists of the balanced, mediator, cross-generational coalition, and scapegoat subdimensions of 24 items displayed acceptable goodness-of-fit values in the Turkish sample with the 0.91 Cronbach's alpha coefficient while the reliability values of the subdimensions changed between 0.86 and 0.91. Considering the convergent validity of the inventory, there was a negative correlation between the triangular relationship and satisfaction with life and the differentiation of self, and a significant positive correlation with depression, anxiety, and stress. Conclusion: The psychometric properties revealed in this study show that the Turkish form of the Triangular Relationship Inventory is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to measure the triangulation levels and roles of the individuals, who are in the Turkish sample and between the ages of 18 and 25 years, within the family system.
