This study aims to analyze the comparison of the trading volume of shares before and after a stock split on companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2014-2016. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of manufacturing companies in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2014-2016. The number of samples in this study is 30 companies selected using Purposive sampling techniques based on certain criteria. Data analysis methods used in this study are descriptive statistical methods and normality tests. Based on the results of hypothesis testing conducted, it shows that there are differences in the volume of stock trading before and after a stock split on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016.

This study aimed to analyze the reaction of investors on Indonesia Stock Exchange to the inauguration of the 8th President by observing whether there were any significant differences in abnormal returns and stock trading volume activities before and after the event. The observation period used in this study was 10 days, with details of each 5 days before and after the President's inauguration event that occurred on 20 October 2019. This research was quantitative research and used daily transaction data on the market capital as a secondary data source. The samples used were companies that were included in the LQ45 stock index for the period August 2019 - January 2020. A non-parametric test in the form of Wilcoxon test was used to test the hypothesis. The results of this study showed that there were no significant difference in abnormal return and stock trading volume activity in the period before and after the event. This was evidenced by the probability value above the significance level of 5%. Thus, the results of this study were stated that there was no reaction from the investor related to the event of the inauguration of the 8th President in Indonesia.

This reseach aims to determine the effect of the stock split analysis of the trading volume and stock returns. This study using a quantitative research design causal. In this study population is all companies doing stock split at the company, which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on 2011-2015, whose number is not known and the sample totaling 22 companies. Data were collected by using documentation. Data analyzed using paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that (1) there was no change in the volume of stock trading before and after the stock split and (2) there was no difference in stock returns before and after the stock split on the company stock split in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2011-2015.

This research is motivated by companies that carry out corporate actions in the form of stock splits. The corporate action aims to increase the liquidity of the outstanding shares and to give a positive signal to the company's performance in the future. To find out whether this signal is true or not, it is necessary to test market efficiency which proves that the stock split has an effect on changes in stock trading volume, abnormal returns and the bid ask spread. This type of research is the event study research with a quantitative approach. A sample of 66 companies using purposive sampling technique. The company under study is a company that carried out a stock split and is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015 - 2019. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of daily data on sales of shares, number of shares outstanding, stock price (close price), price index. joint stock, stock offer and bid during the period 2015 - 2019. The results of the research through the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the results (1) There is no significant difference between stock trading volume before and after the stock split; (2) There is a significant difference between abnormal returns before and after the stock split; (3) There is no significant difference between the bid ask spread before and after the stock split.

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in abnormal return (AR) and trading volume activity (TVA) between before and after the announcement of a stock split. The data used in this study are secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling method. With certain criteria obtained a sample of 30 companies. This study uses event studies to determine the information content contained in an event. Hypothesis testing conducted in this study uses the normality test and paired sample t-test. The results of testing the first hypothesis in this study indicate that there is no difference in AR between before and after the announcement of a stock split. This happens because investors consider the stock split announcement have no economic value and prefer to allocate their funds to companies that are truly able to provide a return. While in the second hypothesis testing found the same thing that there is no significant TVA difference between before and after the announcement of the stock split.k split.

This study aims to examine the market reaction caused by the announcement of the stock split. The population used in this study amounted to 67 companies. The method used in sampling using saturated samples, using the entire company that did the stock split. The data obtained is secondary data consisting of stock prices, IHSG, and stock trading volume. In analyzing the data, this study used the One-Sample T-Test and Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that  there was a market reaction to the announcement of a stock split as indicated by an abnormal return, there was a market reaction to the announcement of a stock split as indicated by the volume of stock trading, there is no difference in markets reaction before and after the announcement of the stock split. This study is aimed at examining the effects of the Number of Board of Commissioners, Leverage, Profitability, Capital Intensity, Cash Flow, and Company Size toward Conservatism in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study is the yearly financial statements on firm of manufacturing listed at BEI period 2012-2017, using purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from yerly financial reports published and downloaded through the official BEI website. Data analyzed with Descriptive statistics, test of classic assumption and exmination of hypothesis with multiple linier regression method. The result of hypothesis research shows variable Profitability and Cash Flow have a significant effect on the ability of Conservatism, while the Number of Board of Commissioners, Leverage, Capital Intensity, and Company Size has no effect on the ability of Conservatism.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, peluang pertumbuhan dan leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan mengamati dengan mengunjungi metode analisis data Pusat Informasi Pasar Modal (PIPM) menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: secara parsial, variabel profitabilitas dan peluang pertumbuhan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, growth opportunities and leverage on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The data in this study were obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. This study uses secondary data by observing by visiting the Capital Market Information Center (PIPM) data analysis method using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that: partially, profitability and growth opportunities variables had a positive and significant effect on firm value, while leverage had a negative and significant effect on firm value.

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of KAP size, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations on audit delay. The data used are secondary data derived from the financial statements of mining sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling, so that the total sample can be obtained as 57 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression processed with  the SPSS 22 program. The results of the study simultaneously show that the size of the KAP, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations affect the audit delay. While the research results partially state that the solvency and complexity of operations have an influence on audit delay, while the KAP size and audit tenure have no effect on audit delay. From the results of the study, is expected to assist auditors in identifying factor - factor that affect audit delay in optimizing performance and as a material consideration for investors in making investment decisions. The purpose of this study was to test the market reaction to the announcement of the Sri Kehati Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is all companies included in the Sri Kehati Index from 2013 to 2016. The selection of samples was taken by the population sampling method. Hypothesis testing is done by paired t test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings of this research are: 1) there is no difference in abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the Sri Kehati Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 2) There is a difference in the activity of stock trading volume before and after the announcement of the Sri Kehati index in the 5th and 6th periods, but there is no difference in the activity of stock trading volume in other periods. The Indonesia Stock Exchange did not react consistently to the announcement of the Sri Kehati Index.

For companies that collect funds from the public through capital from capital market, it can be used to meet capital needs and finance the company’s operation. So that company is expected not to rely on commercial debt financing both from within the country and abroad. With stock split, it is hoped that it will increase investors’ interest in buying affordable shares. This study aims to determine whether the stock split has an effect on stock prices, trading volume, and stock return. The method used by the researcher uses quantitative secondary data methods by using descriptive statistical data test, then use the kolgomorov smirnov normality test, and using theaverage paired sample test. The results of this research is that: 1) stock price have a significant effect after the stock split occurs, 2) while the trading volume has no significant effect after the stock split occours, 3)  then stock return has a siginificant impact before and after the stock split because it is expected to have a positive impact for issuers and investors.
