The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of lifestyle and price on purchasing decisions. Individual variables include lifestyle and price. The regulatory variable is the Covid-19 plague, and the dependent variable is the purchase decision. The survey data were obtained from a food factory (coffee shop) in Semarang. Population sampling is used. Data are collected through research methods such as direct surveys. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) testing is used for data analysis. The model of the mathematical equation is used in a statistical test to show the effects of the independent variables on the dependent and controlled variables. The results of the study suggest that: 1) Purchasing decisions do not directly affect lifestyle. 2) The decision to buy has a negative effect on the price. 3) During the COVID-19 epidemic, lifestyle had a positive effect on purchasing decisions. 4) Transmission variable COVID-19 had a positive effect on purchasing decisions during the epidemic. Before the plague, prices were lower than usual, but coffee experts kept their distance, avoided crowds, and cared about their health.

Background: Febrile seizure is convulsions with fever (temperature ³38°C) with no central nervous system infection that commonly found in children (6-60 months). Febrile seizures do not always mean the child has epilepsy. However, febrile seizures can be a possible long-term risk factor for epilepsy. Objective: The objective of this study is to know the profile of febrile seizure in patients with epilepsy. Methods: A retrospective descriptive study on 23 patients with epilepsy in the EEG Department of Neurology, Dr. Soetomo General Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia in the period 2018-2019 based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The total number of epilepsy patients is 849 patients, 216 of whom had a history of febrile seizure. Among 216 epilepsy patients who had a history of febrile seizures, 23 of them were qualified as the sample. The sampling technique used was total population sampling. The instrument of this research is the patients’ medical record. Data analysis is carried out descriptively. Results: The characteristics of the history of febrile seizures that found in patients with epilepsy are more patients are male, have the age of onset on less than 2 years old, have the body temperature more than 38.3°C, have the seizure duration less than 15 minutes, have focal seizures, have recurrent seizures in 24 hours, have a history of more than one febrile seizure, have accompanying neurological disorders, and have no family history of epilepsy. Conclusion: Febrile seizure is still becoming a concern because there is a possibility that it may develop into epilepsy. Even though, not all children who experience febrile seizure will generate epilepsy.

China is one of the countries that have entered the stage of population aging. At present, the phenomenon of aging population has become a widespread concern of the whole society. Scientific and accurate prediction of aging population will help relevant departments to formulate specific countermeasures. This paper uses the Yearbook of China’s 1% population sampling survey in 2015 and the data published by the National Bureau of statistics. Based on the basic population prediction formula, the population prediction formula is established by using the index extrapolation method to predict the population aging development trend of provinces and cities in China from 2020 to 2050. The results show that: China’s aging degree will continue to increase, the size of the elderly population will continue to increase, 2020–2030 will be a period of rapid growth of the national population aging, after then the aging ratio will decline. The government should formulate security countermeasures for the elderly from various aspects as soon as possible and actively respond to aging the population.

Abstract Agricultural insurance is one of the management risk tools. This research aimed to analyze the factors affecting food crop farmers’ agricultural insurance in the Altınekin District of Konya Province. To obtain data using a questionnaire by interviewing 66 food crop farms entreprises who did agricultural insurance in the previous year. The population sampling was calculated with a single-stage non-clustered probability sampling. Factors affecting farmers’ agricultural insurance were analyzed by Binary Logistic Regression. The results of the analysis of factors affecting farmers’ willingness to take out agricultural insurance were farmers age, education, land size, sources from which they receive information on agricultural insurance, and the amount of support paid by the state, the amount of debt, pure product and agricultural income. The sources from which they received information on agricultural insurance had negative effect. The other factors have a positive effect. Providing education and advertising about agricultural insurance to farmers can increase the willingness of farmers to take out agricultural insurance. Support in the form of assistance on agricultural insurance of the government is also needed.

School readiness is an important but challenging issue of child development, especially during COVID-19 when most of the traditional offline activities that could promote school readiness (e.g., on-site visit) have been canceled. There is a gap between the knowledge needed to promote children’s school readiness in times of pandemic and the limited understanding of this topic so far. This gap could be particularly concerning in the social contexts where examinations are stressed and educational competition is high (e.g., Hong Kong). In this study, we examined how well children were ready for primary school, the extent to which parent perceived social support was related to children’s school readiness, and whether parent competence and their time spent with children would moderate the said link. A cross-sectional design survey with total population sampling (supplemented with convenience sampling) was conducted. Massive e-mails were sent to all kindergartens in Hong Kong inviting them to join the study by distributing the survey link to the parents of their K3 students. A total of 643 Hong Kong parents whose children were about to transition to primary school (87.1% mother) participated, answering measures specifically designed for this study online about how well they thought their children were ready for school, their competence to help with children’s school transition, and how much time they spent with children. Data were analyzed with PROCESS macro (model 3) in SPSS. The results found that most parents considered that their children were not fully ready for school, especially in terms of academic skills, self-management, and mental preparation. Furthermore, moderation analyses showed that after controlling for a number of demographic variables, parent perceived social support was positively related to better school readiness in children and this link was jointly moderated by parent competence and time spent with children. Specifically, children were rated most ready when parent perceived stronger social support, felt more competent, and spent more time with children. By contrast, the link between perceived social support and children’s school readiness was insignificant for parent who felt more competent but spent less time with children. Implications of how to enhance children’s school readiness are discussed.
