                                                         ABSTRACTUD. King Rack Surabaya is a rack production home industry. The production process includes welding of the rack structure. This study aims to analyze the relationship between education, job satisfaction, and work motivation to the work productivity of workers in the welding section of rack production at UD. King Rack, Surabaya, Indonesia. This is an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The study sample used a total population of 12 workers. Data were taken in the form of primary data tested with the Spearman correlation test. The results of the analysis show that the majority of respondents graduated from elementary school and the majority of respondents' job satisfaction was high. However, majority of respondents' work motivation was moderate and the majority of respondents' work productivity was low. The results of the Spearman correlation analysis indicate a relationship between education and work productivity (correlation coefficient = 0.475) as well as work motivation and work productivity (coefficient correlation = 1.000). There was no relationship between job satisfaction and work productivity. To increase work productivity, daily standards for the number of racks to be produced by workers need to be set. Besides that, it is important to give praise and appreciation to the workers in order for them to produce racks that are above the work standard. Keywords: education, job satisfaction, work motivation, work productivity

Abstract: Increase of interleukin 6 (IL-6) level occurs in the brain after traumatic brain injury (TBI), however, studies about IL-6 as a prodictor based on CT-scan is still limited. This study was aimed to evaluate the relationship between serum IL-6 level and CT Marshall classification in patients with severe TBI. This was an observational study with a cross sectional design. There were 20 patients with severe TBI admitted at the Emergency Surgery Installation of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado in this study. CT-scan was performed on them to determine the CT Marshall classification and to categorize the hemorrhage location (extra-axial, intra-axial, both), hemisphere (midline/diffuse, dextral, sinistral), and area (frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital, multiple). Venous blood sample used for IL-6 examination was drawn less than 24 hours after trauma. The results showed that mean IL-6 level was 22.0060 pg/mL (SD 4.64494 pg/mL). Patients were distributed relatively uniform in 4 detected categories (diffuse injury II, III, V, and VI) of CT Marshall classification. Final regression model consisted of IL-6, age, and temporal injury as predictors. The Spearman coefficient correlation showed rs = -0.005 (P=0.491). Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between serum Il-6 level and CT Marshall classification, albeit, both of them increased consistantly following the severity of TBI and could be potential predictors to determine the prognosis of severe TBI patients.Keywords: IL-6, CT Marshall, severe TBIAbstrak: Pada cedera otak berat akibat trauma (COBT) terjadi peningkatan ekspresi IL-6 di otak namun penelitian mengenai kemampuannya untuk memrediksi hasil berdasarkan klasifikasi CT scan masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara kadar IL-6 serum dan klasifikasi CT Marshall pada pasien dengan COBT. Jenis penelitian ialah observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 20 pasien yang dirawat dengan COBT di IRDB RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. CT-scan segera digunakan untuk menentukan klasifikasi CT Marshall dan untuk mengategorikan lokasi (ekstra-aksial, intra-aksial, keduanya), belahan (garis tengah/difus, dekstra, sisnitra), dan area otak yang terlibat dalam cedera. Sampel darah vena untuk IL-6 diambil kurang dari 24 jam setelah trauma. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan rerata kadar IL-6 22,0060 pg/mL (SD 4,64494 pg/mL). Pasien didistribusikan relatif seragam dalam empat kategori yang terdeteksi (difus cedera II, III, V, dan VI) dari klasifikasi CT Marshall. Model regresi akhir terdiri dari IL-6, usia, dan cedera pada area temporal sebagai prediktor. Korelasi antara kadar IL-6 serum dan klasifikasi CT Marshall dianalisis dengan koefisien korelasi Spearman dan mendapatkan rs = -0,005 (P=0,491). Simpulan: Walaupun secara statistik tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara kadar Il-6 serum dan CT Marshall namun keduanya secara konsisten meningkat mengikuti COBT dan dapat menjadi prediktor potensial untuk menentukan prognosis pada pasien dengan COBT.Kata kunci: IL-6, CT Marshall, COBT

Main hazard for the coal mining workers is chemical dust that will cause declining of lung function with chronic exposure. PT. X experienced elevated trend of decline lung function of its worker within the past three years (2013–2015 i.e., 15.8%, 18.3%, and 21.9%). November 2015, PT. X stipulated new policy to its field workers that oblige them to use PPE mask of N series type 8211. Using cross sectional design with 300 people chosen by convinient sampling; primary data collection was conducted via interview and filling questionnaire, and secondary data collection was compiled from PT. X’s MCU reports of 2015 and 2016 and HRD-HSE monthly reports. As much as 82% of workers are comply to use PPE. There are statistically significant relation between work motivation (p 0.02, ORa 4.80, 95% CI 1.22; 18.86), PPE knowledge (p < 0.01, ORa 353.77, 95% CI 59.93; 2088.25), PPE comfortability (p < 0.01, ORa 61.64, 95% CI 5.99; 634.13), reward/punishment (p < 0.01), and supervision (p < 0.01, ORa 0.08, 95% CI 0.01; 0.43) with workers’ compliance of PPE mask of N series type 8211. There are three people experienced declining of lung function within a year. PT. X was advised to continue its policy.

Diarrhea disease in Indonesia is still one of the endemic diseases and still often causes extraordinary events (outbreaks) in the community. This study aimed to study the relationship between the application of Germas (Community Movement) hands washing with running water and soap simultaneously with the occurrence of diarrhea in SDN 108 students in Seluma Regency. The type of research used was Analytical Survey using Cross Sectional design.. Samples  of  this study were 167 students in grades 4, 5, and 6 of  SDN 108 Seluma Regency. Sampling in this study used a Total Sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using primary data by interview using a questionnaire. The statistical test used is Chi-Square. The results showed that of 167 students, there were 113 students (67.7%) who did not experience diarrhea, 123 students (73.7%) had poor hands washing with and running water and soap, and there was a relationship between hands washing use soap and running water and soap with diarrhea. Keywords: diarrhea, germas,hands washing, soap

ABSTRACT Nurses in meeting spiritual service needs in patients are influenced by one of the factors namely spiritual intelligence. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between characteristics and nurse's spiritual intelligence by fulfilling the inpatient spiritual service needs in Banten Hospital in 2019. The study was conducted in Banten General Hospital in July-August 2019. This research was quantitative with a cross-sectional design by using a questionnaire as a primary data and using Chi-square test as the data analysis. The sample used all nurses in population with total sampling to 71 nurses. The results showed that respondents who fulfilled the needs of spiritual services were not as good as 37 respondents (52.1%). Bivariate results showed variables related to meeting spiritual service needs, namely the level of education (p value = 0.039), length of work (p value =0.042), and nurse spiritual intelligence (p value =0.022). Based on the results of this study it is suggested that there is a need for assistance or special mentors conducted by senior nurses to junior nurses (length of work ≤ 4 years). Because the results of this research prove that nurses who have a new length of work who have the opportunity to meet the needs of spiritual services are not good for patients. Human resources are a very important factor in an organization both large and small scale organizatio formulation ns. In an organization or company, leadership is one of the things needed to influence performance results. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership and work motivation with employee performance at the Benda Baru Health Center in South Tangerang City in 2020. This study used an observational analytic research type with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 48 people and the sample size equal to the total population of 48 people. The instruments and data collection techniques used were questionnaires which filled in directly and independently by respondents via google forms. Based on the research results it is known that the leadership variable has a significant relationship with employee performance with p-value = 0.006 and the work motivation variable has a significant relationship with employee performance with a p-value = 0.010. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between leadership and work motivation with employee performance on employees at the Puskesmas Benda Baru Kota South Tangerang in 2020.Keywords: LeadershipWork motivationPerformanceEmployeesABSTRAK Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam sebuah organisasi baik organisasi dalam skala besar maupun skala kecil. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang diisi secara langsung dan mandiri oleh responden melalui google formulir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa variabel kepemimpinan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kinerja karyawan dengan p-value = 0,006 dan variabel motivasi kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kinerja karyawan dengan p-value = 0,010. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja karyawan pada karyawan di Puskesmas Benda Baru Kota Tangerang Selatan tahun 2020.Kata Kunci:KepemimpinanMotivasi kerjaKinerjaKaryawan

AbstractWork productivity is potential on the survival of a company. The use of contraceptives may affect the physiology of every woman, so it can affect daily activities and resulted in labor productivity. The aim of this study was to determine the contraceptive use effect on labor woman productivity by controlling with age, education and work motivation. Study with cross sectional design involved 71 married women workers of PT. Bomar Makassar who had got married. Data were found by interview using questionnaire on May to June 2015, then analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results of the study indicate that, there was an effect of contraceptive use on woman labor productivity after controlling for variables as age (p value = 0.011), education (p value = 0.022) and work motivation (p value = 0.028).Withouth being controlled by those variables, a significant result showing an effect of contraceptive use on work productivity was also found (p value < 0.05). The results of multivariable analysis indicate that there were two variables which consistenly affected the productivity, namely work motivation (p value = 0.010) and contraceptive use (p value = 0.010). In conclusion, there is an effect of contraceptive use on woman labor productivity. AbstrakProduktivitas kerja potensial pada kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Penggunaan kontrasepsi dapat memengaruhi fisiologi setiap perempuan, sehingga dapat memengaruhi aktivitas sehari-hari dan akan berdampak terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja perempuan dengan mengontrol usia, pendidikan dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian dengan rancangan potong lintang melibatkan 71 pekerja perempuan PT Bomar Makassar yang telah menikah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner pada bulan Mei sampai Juni 2015, kemudian dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap produktivitas kerja setelah dikontrol dengan variabel usia (nilai p = 0,011), pendidikan (nilai p = 0,022) dan motivasi kerja (nilai p = 0,028). Tanpa dikontrol dengan variabel tersebut, juga terdapat hasil yang signifikan yang menunjukkan dampak penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap produktivitas kerja(nilai p < 0,05). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua variabel yang konsisten memberikan pengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja yaitu motivasi kerja (nilai p = 0,010) dan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi (nilai p = 0,010). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap produktivitas kerja.

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction of engineers in a chemical industry. A cross-sectional design was used. Stratified random samples of engineers (N=91) were taken. The Measuring Empowerment Questionnaire and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire were used as measuring instruments. Pearson-moment correlations indicated a correlation of large effect between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction. Overall empowerment was found to be positively related to all satisfaction subscales. Positive correlations of large effect were obtained between job satisfaction and meaning, impact, and self-determination. A positive correlation of medium effect was obtained between job satisfaction and competence. Multiple regression analysis indicated that 70.5 per cent of the variance of job satisfaction was explained by subdimensions of psychological empowerment, although impact was not found to hold a significant amount of predictive value with regard to job satisfaction.

in Indonesia, breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women after cervical cancer. Based on data from the Cirebon City Health Office in 2015, the number of maternal deaths was 4/5400 live births, the number of infant deaths was 25/5455 live births, and the number of under-five deaths was 8/5378 live births. Aspects of maternal and child health can be seen from several indicators of achievement, one of which is Infant Immunization. In 2015, of 22 urban villages in the city of Cirebon, there was only one village that had not reached the target, namely in the Argasunya village. Meanwhile, the coverage of deliveries by health workers in Argasunya was 52.64% and the highest delivery assistance by traditional birth attendants in the city of cirebon was in Argasunya Village at 4.63%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between characteristics and perceptions of pregnant women on the MCH Handbook. This study used a cross sectional design. The population of all pregnant women in Benda Kerep Sub-Village, Argasunya Village, Cirebon City. Sampling used total sampling. The data taken were primary data obtained through questionnaires given to 23 pregnant women. The correlation test used Chi-Square. The results of the study showed that the majority of pregnant women had a bad perception of the MCH handbook (69.56%), were aged 20-35 (87%), graduated from elementary school (78%), were with 14-27 weeks in gestation (48%), and had a plan to deliver at home (73.92%). Based on occupation, all pregnant women did not work (100%). There was no relationship between age and perception of the MCH handbook, between education and perception of the MCH handbook, between occupation and perception of the MCH handbook, and between planned place of delivery and perception of the MCH handbook.

Abstract: Health worker is everyone who devotes him/herself in the health sector and has knowledge and skills through education in the health sector, such as nurse and midwife. The maximum service of a health worker can be achievd if the level of satisfaction is good. Various factors can affect the satisfaction of nurses and midwives working in an hospital organization, such as welfare, responsibility, and work motivation. This study was aimed to assess the relation-ship between welfare, responsibility, work motivation and satisfaction among nurses and mid-wives. This was an analytical, observational, and quantitative study with a cross sectional design. There were 119 health workers of General Hospital GMIBM Monompia Kotamobagu involved in this study consisting of 107 nurses and 12 midwives obtained by using the total sampling method. The multiple linear test showed that the level of welfare affected job satisfaction (p=0.000), while responsibility and motivation did not affect job satisfaction (p=0.371 and p=0.415). The simultaneous test resulted in an F-value of 6.112 where welfare/income, respon-sibility, and motivation simultaneously affected the job satisfaction of nurses and midwives. In conclusion, welfare significantly influenced the satisfaction of nurses and midwives meanwhile responsibility and motivation did not.Keywords: level of welfare; responsibility; motivation and job satisfaction Abstrak: Tenaga kesehatan adalah setiap orang yang mengabdikan diri dalam bidang kesehatan serta memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui pendidikan di bidang kesehatan seperti perawat dan bidan. Pemberian pelayanan yang maksimal dari tenaga kesehatan dapat tercapai bila tingkat kepuasan kerja perawat dan bidan baik. Berbagai faktor dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja pada perawat dan bidan dalam suatu organisasi rumah sakit, di antaranya tingkat kesejahteraan, tanggung jawab, dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kesejahteraan, tanggung jawab, dan motivasi dengan kepuasan kerja pada perawat dan bidan. Jenis penelitian ialah kuantitatif dan analitik observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 119 orang tenaga kesehatan Rumah Sakit Umum GMIBM Monompia Kotamobagu, terdiri dari 107 perawat dan 12 bidan diperoleh dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian uji linear berganda mendapatkan tingkat kesejahteraan memengaruhi kepuasan kerja (p=0.,00), sedangkan tanggung jawab dan motivasi tidak meme-ngaruhi kepuasan kerja (p=0,371 dan p=0,415). Pada hasil uji simultan didapatkan nilai F=6,112 dimana kesejahteraan/pendapatan, tanggung jawab, dan motivasi secara serempak memengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah kesejahteraan/pendapatan mempunyai pengaruh bermakna terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat dan bidan sedangkan tanggung jawab dan motivasi tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat dan bidan.Kata kunci: kesejahteraan; tanggung jawab; motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja

The objective of this study was to assess the relationship between job insecurity, job satisfaction and affective organisational commitment of maintenance workers (N = 178) in a parastatal in Gauteng. A cross-sectional design was used. Stratified random samples of maintenance workers (N = 178) were taken. The Job Insecurity Inventory, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and Organisational Commitment Questionnaire were used as measuring instruments. The results revealed small but significant relationships between job insecurity and extrinsic job satisfaction and job insecurity and affective organisational commitment. Job satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between job insecurity and affective organisational commitment.
