The number of premarital sex among adolescents have been increasing. Based on BKKBN’sreport (2014), 46% of adolescents aged 15–19 years old already had premarital sex experience. Therefore, it requires preventions to solve adolescents’ premarital sex problems. This study aims to identify social support to preventive eff orts against premarital sex of high school students X in Surabaya.This descriptive study used qualitative research design and purposive sampling technique to determine the number of sample. Indepth interviewed conducted on 32 informants that were consist of 10 students, 10 close friends, 10 parents and 2 teachers. The results showed that social support especially fromfamilies who provide religious education, contribute to shaping the character of the teens themselves than support from friends and school. The preventive eff orts against premarital sex that can be done are: not dating, be selective in friendship, strengthen their faith and prayers, limiting the friendship, being ina relationship only for good reasons, not watching porn, avoid opposite-sex friends with bad manners, not coming home late at night, being resolute over their principles, learn the danger of premarital sex behavior, widen their social network, and being more active in social activities and hobbies.Keywords: preventive action, premarital sex, adolescents

Various factors causing premarital sexual behavior are loosening of supervision from parents and schools, lack of faith in God, low education in religious values, social influences, easy to absorb western cultures that are currently rife in Indonesia, mass media as well as the internet that provides a variety of positive and negative information. This type of research is a descriptive-analytic study with a cross-sectional approach, which was conducted in February 2017. The population of this study was students of class XII Natural Sciences and Social Sciences of Kartini High School in Batam City, totaling 111 people. Sampling with random sampling technique, as many as 84 people. Data obtained from filling out the questionnaire to respondents, then the data were analyzed univariately and bivariate by computer using the Chi-Square Statistical Test. The results showed that students who had good knowledge about premarital sex were 32 students (38.1%), students who had sufficient knowledge about premarital sex were 24 students (28.6d%) and students who had less knowledge about premarital sex as many as 28 students (33.3%). The results showed that students who had good attitudes about premarital sex were 44 students (52.4%), students who had sufficient attitudes about premarital sex were 21 (25.0%) and students who had fewer attitudes about premarital sex were 19 students (22.6%). Statistical test results show (P = 0,000) meaning that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about premarital sex in Batam City Kartini High School in 2018. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Premarital Sex Knowledge and Premarital Sexual Attitudes in Kartini High School students in Batam City in 2018.

Math anxiety is a crucial problem experienced by almost all students. Due to the math anxiety affects the decreasing of mathematics achievement, many educators and researchers focused to overcome the math anxiety. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effects of math self-efficacy, social support, and academic flow on math anxiety. This research used a quantitative approach, by using psychological scales survey as a data collection. The participants of this study were 167 students which were collected using quota sampling technique at two high schools. The results show that there was a simultaneous significant negative effect of math self-efficacy, social support, and academic flow toward math anxiety. In addition, the partial analysis shows that there is no significant effect between math self-efficacy and math anxiety. While social support and academic flow have a significant effect on math anxiety. Thus, social support and academic flow can be used as strong predictors of math anxiety.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to determine the contribution of social support, self-esteem, and resilience to the academic stress of high school students with path analysis methods with a sample of 307 students taken by cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument was developed by authors with item validity&gt; 0.30 and reliability&gt; 0.70. The results showed a direct contribution of social support and self-esteem to the resilience of 0.242 and 0.453 sig (0.000). The direct contribution of social support, self-esteem, and resilience to academic stress were -0.153, -0.118, and -0.583 sig (0.000). Indirect contribution of social support and self-esteem to academic stress through the resilience of -0.141 and -0.264.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan<strong> untuk</strong> mengetahui kontribusi dukungan sosial, <em>self-esteem</em> dan resiliensi terhadap stres akademik siswa SMA dengan metode analisis jalur dengan sampel 307 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik <em>cluster random sampling</em>. Instrumen penelitian dikembangkan penulis dengan validitas butir <strong>&gt;0.30 dan reliabilitas &gt;</strong>0,70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kontribusi langsung dukungan sosial dan <em>self-esteem</em> terhadap resiliensi sebesar 0.242 dan 0,453 sig (0.000)., kontribusi langsung dukungan sosial, <em>self-esteem<strong>, </strong></em>dan resiliensi terhadap stres akademik sebesar -0.153, -0.118, dan -0.583 sig (0.000). Kontribusi tidak langsung dukungan sosial dan <em>self-esteem</em> terhadap stres akademik melalui resiliensi sebesar -0.141 dan -0.264.

This study aims to analyze the contribution of parental social support and self-control both individually and collectively on student truancy behavior. This research uses descriptive correlational quantitative method. The study population was vocational high school students Muhammadiyah 1 Padang registered in the odd semester of the school year 2020/2021 as many as 447 students. The research sample was 127 students, who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument uses a parental social support scale, self-control scale and the results of student absenteeism recapitulation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive correlational statistics and multiple regressions. The research findings proved that parental social support and self-control simultaneously contributed to student truancy behavior as much as 44.5%. The implication of the results of this study can be used as input for creating guidance and counseling service programs in preventing and reducing truancy in students.

Motivation is an important factor in improving the achievement of high school students in Islamic religious education. Due to the motivation to achieve greatness, it will foster the spirit of learning for students. The purpose of this study to determine how the motivation of high school students' achievement in Islamic education in Nisam District, North Aceh regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multi site design study. Subjects of research data are students, principals, vice-principals, and teachers. Data were obtained by a nonprobability sampling technique with an in-depth interview and documentation research instrument. Data were analyzed by data reduction technique, data presentation, and verification. To measure the validity of data using credibility standards, dependability, and confirmability. The results showed that students of SMP Negeri 1 Nisam and SMP Negeri 3 Nisam experienced increased learning achievement and high learning spirit. With an indicator that students are already motivated to study and school with a passion. Achievement motivation succeeded in improving student achievement da spirit of learning activities toward the desired goal of students has achieved a goal that materialized.

ABSTRACT The premarital sex behavior is a problem and social phenomenon that is  increasingly prevalent in society. At a young age, the premarital sex should be a major concern to reduce pregnancy rates unintended, sexually transmitted diseases, school drop out, abortion and even a death. One effort to prevent the premarital sex behavior for students in schools with methods of providing knowledge about sexual behavior, reproductive health, an understanding of religious and the early marriage law. Evaluation of  indicators usingpre test and post test data that are  analyzed with paired t and regression test. The results show that after counseling, the knowledge of junior high school students about sexual behavior, reproductive health and religious knowledge increased significantly (p <0.05), while high school students of religious knowledge and early marriage law increased significantly.  Keywords: premarital sex; reproductive health; sexual behavior

Work readiness is an important factor that can determine the quality of prospective graduates and vocational high schools as one of the educational institutions that prepare human resources to need to pay attention to factors that can improve work readiness. This study aimed to empirically examine how social support and self-regulation influence the work readiness of vocational High School students. The population in this study was all students of grade XII in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta (a vocational high school), totaling 170 students, and the sample of this study was 111 students. The sampling technique used was randomized sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected with the work readiness scale, social support scale, and self-regulation scale. The data were then analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques. There was a very significant correlation between social support and selfregulation and they simultaneously influence work readiness (r = 0.490, p = 0.000). There was a very significant correlation between social support and work readiness (r = 0.344, p = 0.000). There is a very significant correlation between self-regulation and work readiness (r = 0.490, p = 0.000). Selfregulation plays dominant role in shaping work readiness.

Adolescents are currently in the midst of technological sophistication, which is very helpful for its development. On the other hand, many adolescents are trapped in the problem of technology addiction. Adolescents are the most age group who experience problems with the use of technology, including online games. Online game addiction is the loss of control over the use of online games, which makes other daily activities are disrupted. Online game addiction in adolescents have an impact on several aspects of life, such as health aspects, psychological aspects, academic aspects, social aspects, and financial aspects. Lack of understanding about the risks of online game addiction can get adolescent stuck in online game addiction. This research aims to describe high school students understanding about the risks of online game addiction. The sample consisted of 255 high school students selected by proportional random sampling technique. Data was collected using a scale measuring understanding of the risks of online game addiction. Data analysis used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The results showed that high school students understanding about the risks of online game addiction was included in the moderate category with an average score of 198,48 and an achievement score level of 55,14%. Therefore, school counselors must to improve high school students understanding of the risks of online game addiction.

This study aims at answering the questions what causes many junior high school students fall into drug abuse, and what kind of treatment  must be done so that students have self-control and are not subject to drug abuse. This study employed a phenomenological approach of a qualitative research design.  In this study a semi-structured interview is used to understand how participants experienced the phenomenon. The research revealed that the interpersonal communication has a major role in students' self-control so as not to fall into drug abuse. This study contributes significantly to educational field particularly teachers in secondary schools so that it can be used as a reference to provide counseling to parents about the importance of interpersonal communication to build students’ self-control to prevent teens from falling into drug abuse.
