This study aims to find out the comparison between the performance of Islamic Banks including financial performances such as the ratio of ROA, ROE, FDR and CAR as wells economic and social performance such as MMR ratio before and after the determination of fatwa regarding the prohibition against bank interest. Quantitative approach and independent sample t-test has been used in this study. The data is a secondary data which was obtained by collecting the annual financial reports. The result of the independent sample t-test shows that there are significant differences between the performance of the Islamic banks before and after the fatwa on the ratio of ROE, FDR and MMR. Whereas on the ratio of ROA and CAR have no significant difference before and after the fatwa.

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences of Internet Financial Reporting Quality. This study was using quantitative approach with independent sample t test and mann whitney u test. The population of this study was official website of islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. determination of the number of samples using (sampling jenuh), where all of the population is used as a sampel. Data that being used was secondary data. The data was collected from official website of the sentral banks in each country. The result of this study showed that there was significant differences of Internet Fianncial Reporting Quality between Indonesia and Malaysia. The difference is caused there are significant differences between the quality of content and timeliness components. Meanwhile, there is no differences between technology and user support components.

<p>This study aims to analyze the performance of Islamic banks and conventional banks before and after the implementation of Islamic Banking Act 2008. The performance will be measured using CAMEL ratio selected. This research is considered essential in examining the positive contribution of the application of the Act to improve the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. By using secondary data, this study compared the performance of Islamic banks with that conventional bank selected as samples during the study period. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for inter-temporal and Mann-Whitney test for inter-bank. Inter-temporal Tests conducted on Islamic Banking showed that a significant difference was only seen in the NPF ratio of 2 years before and after implementation of Islamic Banking Act. As for conventional banks showed a more diverse ie for 1 year before and after the application of the Law on Islamic Banking there are significant differences for the ROA and ROE, two years before and after implementation of the Law Islamic banking there are significant differences for the CAR, ROA, ROE and NIM and for the overall test a significant difference to CAR, ROA, ROE, NIM and efficiency. Inter-bank testing showed that prior to the application of Islamic Banking Act there are significant differences between conventional banks and Islamic banks to CAR, ROA and efficiency. Furthermore, after the application of Islamic Banking Act there is a significant difference for the CAR and LDR / FDR.</p>

This study aims to determine there is a difference in average abnormal return of BRI Syariah before and after the signing of the Conditional Merger Agreement (CMA), which is on October 12th, 2020. This research used event study for method and the data in this study are secondary data in the form of stock price data of BRI Syariah. The event window in this study for 11 (eleven) working days which is 5 (five) days before the event, 1 (one) day when the event occurs and 5 (five) days after the signing of the Conditional Merger Agreement (CMA) BUMN sharia bank. Meanwhile, the estimated period is set for 120 exchange days, namely at t-125 to t-6. Test conducted by paired sample t-test. The results of the paired sample t-test showed that there is no significant difference between the average abnormal return of BRI Syariah shares before and after the signing of the Conditional Merger Agreement. It can be concluded that neither the market nor investors reacted to the signing of the Conditional Merger Agreement (CMA) that occurred at BRI Syariah Bank.

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences of Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) index between Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional (LAZNAS)  and Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Provinsi (BAZNASPROV) in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach with an independent sample t-test. The population in this study is the official website of LAZNAS and BAZNASPROV in Indonesia. Sample selection using purposive sampling technique with two criteria. The website have to be can accessed properly, furthermore LAZNAS and BAZNASPROV have been inaugurated for more than 2 years. The data used is secondary data. Data collection was obtained from the official websites of LAZNAS and BAZNASPROV in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in the IFR index between LAZNAS and BAZNASPROV. Based on the four IFR components used, one and only component showed significant difference is technology used. However, the results obtained that between LAZNAS and BAZNASPROV still do not provide maximum on internet financial reporting yet.Keywords: Internet Financial Reporting, LAZNAS, BAZNASPROV

This study aims to find out the comparison between the prediction of financial distress of Islamic Banks in Indonesia and that of Islamic Banks in Malaysia before and after the global crisis 2008 using quantitative method and purposive sampling. The prediction of financial distress was done by using Altman Z-score measuring. The technique used to examine the financial distress is Mann-Whitney, and for those after the crisis were examined using Independent sample T-test. The result of this research shows that there is a significant difference between Islamic banks in Indonesia and those in Malaysia either before or after the global crisis 2008 with 5% significance level. The Islamic banks in Indonesia are in secure zone either before or after the crisis. However, the Islamic banks in Malaysia are in grey areawhich cannot be made sure of the bankruptcy either before or after the crisis.

This study aims to describe (1) the negative self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency; (2) the implementation of narrative counseling to improve the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency; and (3) the impacts of the implementation of narrative counseling to improve the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency. This study used the quasi-experimental design with the quantitative approach. The sample of the study was 20 students in the 11th grade of Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews and analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The study found that the self-concept of most students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency was at the moderate level and there was quite a significant difference in the scores of the students’ self-concept before and after the application of narrative counseling. These results suggest that narrative counseling is effective in improving the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency.

This research aimed to determine there are difference in average abnormal returns of companies in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) before and after phenomenon the revised Corruption Eradication Commission Act, which is on September 17th, 2019. This research use event study for method and the data in this study are secondary data in the form of stock price. Sampling technique uses purposive sampling method. Determined sampling technique, 27 companies were obtained as research samples. Tests conducted are one sample t-test and paired sample t-test. The result of the one sample t-test showed that the phenomenon of ratifying the revision of the KPK law becomes meaningful information to investors and investors show that reactions to these event. It showed by the result of significant and negative abnormal returns in the few day before and several days after phenomenon. The result of the second hypothesis testing indicate that there is no significant difference the average abnormal return before and after the ratification of revised Corruption Eradication Commission Act   Keywords: Revision of KPK Law, Average Abnormal Return, Event Study

This research is an event study research that aims to find out how big the reaction of the Indonesian capital marketis to the victory of the Joko Widodo pair in the 2019 Presidential Election with the indicators used in the form ofabnormal returns and trading volume activity on the LQ45 index stock group. This study uses secondary data in theform of daily data. stock prices, daily data on LQ45 index, daily data on trading volume, and daily data on thevolume of shares outstanding during the period of seven days before, one day during, and seven days after the event.The day of the event was May 22, 2019. Sampling used a purposive sampling method. The type of data used isquantitative data. The data collection technique in this research is by means of documentation. Testing thehypothesis using the One-Sample t Test and Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that there were significantdifferences in the reaction between the average before and after the event. However, there is no significantdifference between the average abnormal returns before the event. Similar to the average abnormal return after theevent, there is a significant difference in the average trading volume before and after the event. There is asignificant difference in the average trading volume before and during the event. There is a significant difference inthe average trading volume after and during the event.

This study aims to reveal the comparison of Third Party Funds (DPK) of sharia bank as Bank Perception Tax Amnesty policy in 2016.This study used a comparative quantitative approach with the subject of research is the Third Party Funds of sharia bank the receiver of Tax Amnesty funds in 2016. The selection of DPK as a research setting based on the existence of funds for bank is vital for business continuity, because without sufficient funds the bank will not be function properly. The determination of samples was decided by Ministry of Economic in Republic Indonesia No.600/KMK.03/2016, so the sample of this research compare within 3 banks, those are; Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah, and Bank Syariah Mandiri. The test equipment used Paired Sample T-Test assisted software SPSS 21. The result of Paired Sample T-Test founded that there was α  P value t equal to 0,000 or< 0,05, means a significant difference of DPK accumulation before and after Tax Amnesty policy in 2016. The average of DPK sharia bank before Tax Amnesty policy accumulated Rp 124,1 Trillion and increased Rp 132,9 Trillion after Tax Amnesty policy.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the difference of abnormal return and net income before and after share split or reverse share split. Abnormal return and net income are important to investor because it indicated the corporate performance and useful for investor’s decision making. The samples used in this research were 61 companies for variable of abnormal return and 59 companies for variable of net income. These samples were the companies that listed in Indonesia Share Exchange (IDX) for period 2003-2010 and meet the criteria sampling of this study. The samples were determined based on purposive sampling method. Data that used in this research was secondary data, such as share price, Indonesia Composite Index (ICI), and financial reports. The method used for analysis was paired sample t-test. The results of this research are (1) there is significant difference between abnormal return before and after share split, (2) there is no significant difference between net income before and after share split, (3) there is significant difference between abnormal return before and after reverse share split, and (4) there is no significant difference between net income before and after reverse share split.
