Abstract: Data of pharmaceutical quality indicator in Karsa Husada Batu Hospital in January-August 2017 showed non-conformance indicator of drug stock void figure with standard. Based on this, in this present study aim to analyze the factors that influence the occurrence of drug stock void. The research used descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that there are five problems causing the occurrence of drug stock void, the coordination between units not yet running, the implementation of the pharmaceutical HIS that has not been operated, the flow of procurement that has not run optimally, the reporting system of drug stock in the unused user unit and the lack of pharmaceutical personnel in the procurement of drug stock. FGD results indicate the need for plan of action. Short-term programs include daily drug stock reporting and analysis of drug procurement flow. Long-term program in the form of pharmaceutical HIS evaluation, data configuration procedure and report into existing pharmaceutical HIS and conduct socialization/training of pharmaceutical HIS that has been configured. Keywords: pharmaceutial service standard, drug stock void, pharmaceutical Hospital Information System (HIS).

The development of the business environment in globalization era has been triggered an increasingly tight business competition. Every companies who have an established its own strategies to manage a variety of information, human resources, allocation of funds and others. Accounting information system is a great resources that very valuable to an organization for the smoothness management of the company’s financial and decision making wheter it is to long term and short term, however there are several aspect that can be a factors the effectiveness of the accounting information system, that is manager’s participation. The research is aimed to proves that manager’s participation and manager’s involvement had a positive influence on the effectiveness of accounting information system (AIS) at manufacturing company, especially in the industrial zone Batamindo Mukakuning Batam City. The research method is using regression analysis to proves are the manager’s participation (independent variable) and manager’s involvement (independent variable) gives effect to the effectiveness of information system (dependent variable) or not. The result of this research is shows that variable of manager’s participation and manager’s involvement has a significant influence to the effectiveness of information system. The method is using purposive sampling is done by taking a sampling of the population according to certain criteria.

This paper describes a decision support system that forest managers can use to help evaluate short-term, site-specific silvicultural operating plans in terms of their potential impact on long-term, forest-level strategic objectives. The system is based upon strategic and tactical forest-level silvicultural planning models that are linked with each other and with a geographical information system. Managers can first use the strategic mathematical programming model to develop broad silvicultural strategies based on aggregate timber strata. These strategies help them to subjectively delineate specific candidate sites that might be treated during the first 10 years of a much longer planning horizon using a geographical information system and to describe potential silvicultural prescriptions for each candidate site. The tactical model identifies an annual silvicultural schedule for these candidate sites in the first 10 years, and a harvesting and regeneration schedule by 10-year periods for aggregate timber strata for the remainder of the planning horizon, that will maximize the sustainable yield of one or more timber species in the whole forest, given the candidate sites and treatments specified by the managers. The system is demonstrated on a 90 000 - ha area in northeastern Ontario.

Accurately predicting the load change of the information system during operation has important guiding significance for ensuring that the system operation is not interrupted and resource scheduling is carried out in advance. For the information system monitoring time series data, this article proposes a load trend prediction method based on isolated forests-empirical modal decomposition-long-term (IF-EMD-LSTM). First, considering the problem of noise and abnormal points in the original data, the isolated forest algorithm is used to eliminate the abnormal points in the data. Second, in order to further improve the prediction accuracy, the empirical modal decomposition algorithm is used to decompose the input data into intrinsic mode function (IMF) components of different frequencies. Each intrinsic mode function (IMF) and residual is predicted using a separate long-term and short-term memory neural network, and the predicted values are reconstructed from each long-term and short-term memory model. Finally, experimental verification was carried out on Amazon’s public data set and compared with autoregressive integrated moving average and Prophet models. The experimental results show the superior performance of the proposed IF-EMD-LSTM prediction model in information system load trend prediction.

The paper presents results from a new series of tests on displacement piles in sand, involving different installation modes, and combines these with results from previous tests at the same site as well as with test data at two other well-investigated sand sites to provide fresh insights into factors affecting “short-term” capacity and set-up of shaft friction. It is shown that the shaft capacity measured shortly after installation reduces systematically with the logarithm of the number of impact blows or jacking increments per unit shaft area imparted during installation. However, the degree of set-up of shaft friction for piles increases with an increase in the number of blows, and piles installed using a large number of blows can attain highest “long-term” shaft capacities, despite having the lowest short-term capacity. The tests indicated that the driving impact frequency had a relatively small influence on shaft friction, while piles installed by vibration attain short-term capacities comparable to driven impact piles, but showed negative set-up.

We studied factors influencing variation in nightly levels of activity (birds arriving and vocalizing) and numbers of birds staging offshore at a colony of Ancient Murrelets at Reef Island, British Columbia, during 1984, 1985, and 1986. Activity was restricted to the hours of darkness and extremely variable in magnitude from night to night. The rate of entry into burrows tended to decrease, and the amount of vocalization and numbers of birds at the staging area increased during the nesting season. We detected an underlying 4-day cyclical pattern of attendance. Nightly variability of activity at the colony was affected by moonlight and weather conditions. Since activity, particularly vocalization, was reduced on moonlit nights, we suggest that nocturnal colony attendance is a strategy to avoid diurnal predators in this species. The largest numbers of birds were present and vocalizing at the colony on calm moonless nights. Weather conditions explained a substantial proportion of the night to night variability in murrelet activity. Among weather variables, wind speed had the most consistent effect and was particularly important in 1985. Both short-term, i.e., of a particular night, and long-term, i.e., over the previous 3 days, conditions influenced activity. Our observations suggest that direct weather effects at the colony may be more important than weather effects related to foraging conditions. Interyear differences in activity may have resulted from the interaction of weather and general foraging conditions.

Omani sport is still searching for new methods to identify its problems and achieve a vision regarding the economic problems in sport, the short-term solutions to revitalize it, and long-term solutions to maintain its stability. It hopes to rise and find an end to its funding problems in order to take off toward international winners’ podiums, especially after the good results achieved lately in several sports. Therefore, the researcher deems it necessary to identify the areas of investment in Omani sport, as potential for investment in the presence of self-finance that covers its financial needs. The researcher used the descriptive method as it is suitable to the nature of the study, and a sample of 273 subjects representing the research population. He used a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, and rank, frequency, percentage in statistical treatment. The main finding of the research was a list of the areas of investment in Omani sport in the following order: launching sports channels, TV streaming, sports professionalism, establishing sporting camps centers, academies of different games, and investment in sporting facilities. The main recommendations were to authorize Omani sporting authorities to launch TV channels to stream their matches, be based on competition with each other, and according to the rules stipulated by the Ministry of Sports Affairs and the Public Authority for Radio and Television

The IT departments must have green IT readiness to control emissions from data centres and selecting equipments of low power consumption. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the factors affecting green IT readiness. A questionnaire of developed to evaluate green IT readiness from the perspective of the IT staff. The questionnaire divided into two parts. The first part is for demographic information and general questions. The second part for green IT dimensions; technology, practice, policy, governance, and attitude. The data collected from 401 respondents. The results showed that the factors; technology, practice, attitude, and maintenance have an agree degree of agreement, while the factors; policy, governance, and green IT readiness have neutral degree of agreement. The governance has the highest correlation and influence on green IT readiness. The study recommends organizations, to setup strategies for implementing green IT as short-term solutions, and the government needs new laws and policies to implement green IT as a long-term solution.

The purpose of the research was to know whether the implementation of Human resource competency at Jasa Marga (Ltd) has been run well in terms of employee recruitment. The two variables being compared in this study were the competency of the employees who hold positions and the work competency itself. The study focuses on analyzing the existing employees competency with the needed job requirements.  The research used descriptive method with qualitative approach by interviewing related parties and conducting a field observation concerning the problem being researched. From measuring competency of the employees who hold positions at Jasa Marga (Ltd) it was found that there were still a few employees whose qualification were below the job requirements. It was proposed that Jasa Marga (Ltd) should continuously increase the quality of the human resources through development training in short term and long-term programs in order to fulfill the predetermined job requirements. The application of the employees competency training should be conducted interactively to produce professional and transparent human resource because it function as initial filter from the early employees recruitment and selection programs.
