Abstract. This School Action Research aims to prove scientifically whether continuous academic supervision can improve the ability of Teachers in optimizing learning media. The study was conducted in 3 (three) months from July to September 2011. The action was focused on evaluation sessions with efforts to improve the ability of teachers in optimizing learning media in 2 cycles. Observational data about students’ activity and teacher activity in managing learning using LCD projector as learning media which were analyzed by calculating the mean value of all aspects of several meetings. The result of the research shows the improvement of teacher ability in using LCD projector. Students’ and teachers’ activities in learning using LCD projector as learning media already meet the indicators of success. Responses and perceptions of teachers and students on learning using the media projector is very good, teachers and students agree to apply the learning process using LCD projector media.  Keywords: LCD Projector. Abstrak. Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara ilmiah apakah supervisi akademik berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Guru dalam mengoptimalkan media pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) bulan dari bulan Juli sampai September 2011. Tindakan dipusatkan pada sesi evaluasi dengan upaya meningkatkan kemampuan Guru dalam mengoptimalkan media pembelajaran dalam 2 siklus. Data hasil observasi tentang aktivitas siswa dan aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran LCD proyektor dianalisis dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata seluruh aspek dari beberapa kali pertemuan yang dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menggunkan media pembelejaran LCD Proyektor. Aktivitas siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran LCD proyektor sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Respon dan persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media proyektor sangat baik, guru dan siswa setuju diterapkannya pembelajaran menggunakan media LCD proyektor.Kata Kunci: LCD Proyektor.

This research was a classroom action research (CAR) carried out to improve the learning process with the steps of planning, implement, observing, and reflecting. This research was carried out in mathematics by utilizing the media of crime tests on integer count material. The formulation of the problem in this research were: (1) Can the media of crime be able to improve mathematics learning outcomes in integer counts ?; (2) What are the learning outcomes of each cycle by utilizing the learning outcomes of students ?. The results of the study showed that the use of stikrim media in mathematics learning integer count material could improve student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle test were obtained by six students or 60% complete, and four students or 40% incomplete. Then the results of the second cycle test showed nine students or 91% complete and three students or 10% not complete. The increase occured in students who have reached 88% of students have completed and exceeds 75% indicators of success, and it is stated that the improvement of this learning has been successful.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

This study attempts to Improving Students’ Achievement Through the Process GenreApproach. The objective of the study is to discover whether the use of the ProcessGenre approach could significantly improve students’ writing achievement. This studyconduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles inten meetings. The subject of this study of SMA Panca Budi Medan which consisted of39 students of class X – 2 reguler.. Orientation test was done in the first meeting, test IIwas done in the fourth meeting, and test III was done in the last meeting. The mean ofstudents’ score test III (76,242) was higher than the test II (66,878) and test I (57,606).Besides, the qualitative data was taken from observation sheet, interview, questionnaire,and diary notes. It was found that teaching learning process ran well. By applying theProcess Genre Approach in the classroom, the students understood the content ofdescriptive text easily. They also were active and enthusiastic during the teachinglearning process. The result of the research showed that the application of the ProcessGenre approach significantly improved students’ achievement in writing descriptive text

This study deals with the way to improve students’ achievement in speaking particularly through Two Stay Two Stray Strategy. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of of the research was class X-AP SMK Swasta Harapan Danau Sijabut in Asahan Regency that consisted of 34 students. The research was conducted in two cycles consisted of three meetings in each cycle. The instruments of collecting data for quantitative data used Speaking Test and instrument for analysis of qualitative data used observation, interview and questionnaire sheet. Based on the speaking test score, students’ score kept improving in every test. In the test I the mean was 61,47, in the test II the mean was 67,41 and the test III the mean was 78,52. Based on observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, it was found that teaching learning process run well and lively. Students were active and interest in speaking. The using of Two Stay Two Stray Strategy is significantly improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to increase students’ vocabulary achievement by using flash cards. The objective of the study is to investigate whether the using of flash card can improve students’ vocabulary achievement. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SD Negeri 174559 Siraituruk, Porsea which consisted of 34 students. For collecting data, the instruments used were quantitative (vocabulary test) and qualitative data (interview sheet, observation sheet, and diary notes. Based on the data, it was found that the mean of the second cycle (80, 44) is higher than the mean of first cycle (64, 85) and pre-test (44, 41).  Based on interview sheet, observation sheet and diary notes, it was found thee students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. It was concluded that teaching vocabulary by using  flash cards can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement.

This study attempts to improve students’ vocabulary achievement through Clustering Technique. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VIII-B SMP Katolik Trisakti 2 Medan that consisted of 32 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were vocabulary tests for quantitative data and diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet for qualitative data. Students’ score kept improving in every test. In the first cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 64.68. And in the second cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 79.85. Based on diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, teaching and learning process had done effectively showed the improvement. Every student was studied actively. And from the research can be concluded that Clustering Technique can improve students’ achievement in vocabulary.

In Teaching-learning process on class, teacher playing vital role for reaching planned education purpose. But that not an easy case, because there are many problems occur in class. Those problems have to be eliminated, and the way to do that is by using class room research. Class room action research is designed to solved a teaching-learning process on class. Class room action research purposed repairing learning process simultaniusly. Class room action research conducted simultaniously to repairing teaching-learning process naturally without disturbing teaching learning process it self. Class room action research conducted based on cycle. Each cycle play vital role fo the next cycle. By conducting training activity for education sports teachers for making and designing a classroom research, they will solve the problems occur in teaching-learning process. By developing education sports teacher ability in class room research will lead the educational purposed to optimal result. Training designed by using classical models, including: discussing, interview, guiding, and assinment. At the end of the training process, every education sports teaching producing one class room action research proposal and making one research based on their own class problem.

Mahārah kalām (speaking skills) is a part of skills that highly considered in learning Arabic at Pesantren Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. It encourages students to practice speaking Arabic on a daily basis both in the classroom and outside. Based on pre observations, there are many students who are unable to speak or communicate in Arabic. Most of them feel tired and bored to learn Arabic due to media being used that does not match with the learning process, while some of them do not practice using Arabic in daily conversation. Based on this situation, the author conducted research using animation media to improve learning speaking skills at the school using action research approach. The results of this study show that the continuity of the learning process with the media is very effective in improving the language proficiency particularly speaking skills. Furthermore, they are also delighted with the use of animation media in the learning process. Keywords: Learning Arabic; Speaking Skills; Animation Media

Abstract: The development of digital comic media is encouraged by creative and innovative learning media that have not been developed yet in learning Arabic of Almaarif Singosari Islamic Senior High School (MA). In addition, teachers have not maximized the use of technology as a learning medium. In the learning process the teacher still uses the media used in general, such as laptops, projectors, books, and blackboards. In qira’ah learning the teacher more often uses books from the ministry of religion and powerpoint as learning media. This research aims to develop a product of digital comics in Arabic as a medium for learning Arabic subjects regarding Maharah Qira'ah for grade X of Almaarif Singosari Islamic Senior High School (MA) students. After the product has been developed, it is then validated by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students to understand the feasibility of the digital comic media. The method used in this research was Research and Development using the ADDIE model. As for the results of validation by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students as a whole obtained a percentage 83,9%. From this percentage it can be concluded that digital comic media is stated to be very valid or suitable to use as a medium for learning Arabic related to Maharah Qira'ah for grade X of Islamic Senior High School (MA) students. Di samping itu, guru belum memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran guru masih menggunakan media yang monoton, seperti laptop, proyektor, buku, dan papan tulis. Pada pembelajaran qira’ah guru lebih sering menggunakan buku dari KEMENAG serta powerpoint sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa komik digital berbahasa Arab sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk maharah qira’ah kelas X MA Almaarif Singosari. Setelah produk selesai dikembangkan, kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan siswa untuk mengetahui kelayakan media komik digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapun hasil validasi produk oleh ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan siswa secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase sebesar 83,9%. Dari persentase tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk komik digital berbahasa Arab dinyatakan sangat valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Arab maharah qira’ah untuk siswa kelas X MA Almaarif Singosari.
