The aim of this study is to improve knowledge and skill about financial literacy, especially for woman who take the most responsibilities to manage finance in her household. Attended by 13 housewives, the method used in this activity is; first, explanation using power point slides and LCD projector; second, experience sharing and discussion; distributing quetionaire to measure their level of financial literacy, discussed about their characteristics on investment and what kind of product which is suit to their ability to accept risk. Held on May 7, 2017, the community service is funded by DIPA BLU Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The result shows that only few participants understand how to measure their financial health and what kind of investment products that suit to their characteristics as an investor.

The basic literacy that must be possessed by someone to be able to compete in the 21st century is literacy, numeric literacy, scientific literacy, digital literacy, financial literacy, and cultural and civic literacy. This community service activity aims to develop digital literacy for teachers and students through the Teaching Campus program at SMPN 19 Mataram. The Teaching Campus Program is one of the implementations of the Independent Campus Policy which is beneficial for students. This community service activity at SMPN 19 Mataram was carried out from August 4, 2021 to September 25, 2021. The method of activity consisted of four stages each week, namely: planning weekly activities with the team, carrying out weekly activity plans, analyzing weekly activities, making improvement plans and follow-up. The form of digital literacy development activities is that students help teachers and students in implementing technology, information and communication (ICT) based learning. Students help teachers and students in optimizing the use of various digital applications, namely WhatsApp, Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, Google Drive, and Google Form. Students also assist teachers in preparing teaching materials in the form of power point media (ppt) and learning videos. Thus, the Campus Teaching program is beneficial for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of becoming professional teachers, teachers and students also gain information and skills in using various digital technologies as a provision to face global competition in the 21st century

PurposeThe purpose of the study is to examine the following two research objectives. The first was to examine the predictive relationships that consumer characteristics of financial literacy, thinking styles and self-control have with a consumer's financial behaviors. The second goal was to ascertain financial management products' ability to aid those consumers who need it the most by weakening the predictive effects of consumer traits on financial behaviors.Design/methodology/approachThe study employed a web-based survey to gather information. The measurement and structural models were analyzed using generalized structured component analysis (GSCA), a component-based structural equation model. The mediation effect of self-control is assessed using the GSCA. The conditional mediation of demographic variables and use of personal financial management products are evaluated using multi-group analysis (MGA) in GSCA.FindingsAntecedents, financial literacy, thinking styles and self-control consumer characteristics are predictors of financial behaviors. However, self-control plays a more prominent role as a mediator between the other variables, strengthening the overall relationship. Also, financial products can have a beneficial moderation effect assisting those consumers who need them the most.Practical implicationsThese insights help in creating target specific financial literacy strategies to influence consumers' financial behaviors. Also, there is a need to develop mechanisms to influence a consumer's self-control and thinking styles to improve financial behavior. In conjunction with other initiatives, the impact of financial literacy has a greater effect on financial behaviors. Further, the insights assist financial institutions and financial technology firms in offering and creating products to help customers make better financial decisions and improve their financial behaviors.Social implicationsThe research addressed a significant global issue – consumer financial health. The Great Recession and the COVID-19 recession highlight the need to focus on the consumer and efforts to improve their financial health.Originality/valueThis research highlighted the mediating role of self-control and suggested that existing and future financial products can positively influence consumer behavior drivers.

ABSTRAKMI Muhammadiyah Wangon merupakan salah satu sekolah yang mempunyai tenaga pendidik atau guru dengan rentang usia yang variatif, dalam menyajikan bahan ajar para guru mempunyai cara yang variatif juga. Di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini para guru dalam menyajikan bahan ajar masih merasa kesulitan untuk membuat video pembelajaran yang komunikatif dan interaktif. Tim pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) memberikan pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan PowerPoint. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini yaitu berupa workshop. Tim PkM melakukan pelatihan secara langsung dengan 1 narasumber sebagai pemateri workshop dan 2 pendamping untuk mendampingi peserta dalam pelaksanaan workshop. Pelatihan ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam membuat video pembelajaran yang komunikatif dan interaktif. Kata kunci: pelatihan; video; interaktif; powerpoint; workshop. ABSTRACTMI Muhammadiyah Wangon is one of the schools that has mentors or teachers with various age ranges, and has various way of presenting teaching materials as well. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers in presenting teaching materials still found it difficult to make communicative and interactive learning videos. The community service team (PkM) provides training on making learning videos using PowerPoint. The method used in this training is a workshop. The PkM team conducts direct training with 1 person as a speaker and 2 assistants to assist participants in the implementation of the workshop. This training can increase the knowledge and abilities of participants in making communicative and interactive learning videos. Keywords: training; video; interactive; power point; workshop.

<p><em>The purpose of community service activity is in the form of training of microsoft power point interactive utilization on natural event material for elementary school at Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo teachers, among others: (1) teachers become skilled in developing computer-based teaching materials, (2) creating learning innovation in elementary school Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (3) realization of computer-based learning in classroom learning activities, (4) improvement of quality and learning outcomes at Primary School Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (5) scientific publication on utilization of Microsoft Power Point Interactive on Natural Event Material for Teachers SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (6) mass media utilization of interactive microsoft power point on the material of natural events for Teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo. The method applied by the community service activity is in the form of short training using lecture, discussion, question and answer method and the demonstration which was followed by 9 teachers held at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo which cover the planning, implementation, and production process</em><em>.</em></p>

It is undeniable that banking transactions are already inherent in everyday life. Therefore, banking literacy needs to be owned by each individual. People who are well literate easier to understand matters related to banking and have information to access the necessary banking services. To support efforts to improve financial literacy, one of which is in the banking sector, socialization in the form of community service needs to be done. Community service is intended for young junior high school students (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) with the theme "Bank Facilitates Our Transactions. The main purpose of this community service focuses on improving the insight of banking literacy among junior high schools. This service program is carried out in 1 (one) day with structured training methods, namely lecture methods, information discussions and lastly conducted previews, evaluations and question and answer questions as a reference to assess how much participants understand the material that has been submitted. Basically the banking literacy of SMP-IT ARAFAH students is quite good and after the implementation of community service there was an increase in the average level of understanding of students which was originally 71.22% to 86.97%. This shows that efforts to improve banking literacy through the implementation of community service have produced positive results. Similar activities need to be developed further in order to instill banking literacy early on. Thus will create a well literate and financially inclusive society that will ultimately support economic development. Abstrak Tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa transaksi perbankan sudah melekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, literasi perbankan perlu dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Masyarakat yang well literate lebih mudah memahami hal-hal yang terkait dengan perbankan serta memiliki informasi untuk mengakses layanan jasa perbankan yang diperlukan. Untuk mendukung upaya peningkatan literasi keuangan salah satunya pada sektor perbankan, maka sosialisasai dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat perlu dilakukan. Pengabdian masyarakat ditujukan bagi kalangan muda siswi Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) dengan tema “Bank Mempermudah Transaksi Kita. Tujuan utama pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan wawasan literasi perbankan di kalangan Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP). Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 1 (satu) hari dengan metode pelatihan terstruktur yakni metode ceramah, diskusi informasi dan terakhir dilakukan preview, evaluasi dan tanya jawab sebagai acuan untuk menilai seberapa besar pemahaman peserta terkait materi yang telah disampaikan. Pada dasarnya literasi perbankan Siswi SMP-IT ARAFAH sudah cukup baik dan setelah dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat terjadi kenaikan pada Rata-rata tingkat pemahaman Siswi yang semula 71,22% menjadi 86,97%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan literasi perbankan melalui pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat membuahkan hasil yang positif. Kegiatan serupa perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut guna menanamkan literasi perbankan sejak dini. Dengan demikian akan tercipta masyarakat yang well literate dan financially inclusive yang pada akhirnya akan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi. This position article proposes that bankruptcy counseling and education should be tailored so that bankrupts and consumer debtors can attain solvency literacy, a new construct developed for this initiative. They need to (a) handle their financial affairs during the insolvency process while (b) concurrently striving for a fresh start, rehabilitation (financial health), and reduced recidivism after discharge. Each of the Canadian and American insolvency education and counseling curricula is described with attendant discussions of financial education (literacy), consumer education (literacy), and credit education (literacy). Intending to keep bankruptcy insolvency education relevant and effective, a specially tailored curriculum is tendered for consideration. The curriculum represents a hybrid of consumer, financial, and credit education. It is relevant to immediate, situation-specific financial needs anticipating that people can strive for more generic consumer and financial literacy after they have attained solvency literacy.

Learning media is an important part of learning activities. Books are part of learning media that can be displayed following the progress of the times and advances in technology. Teachers play a very important role in learning at school, usually teachers provide material to students using textbooks, whiteboard media or using slides on Microsoft Power Point. In the implementation of this community service activity, training for SDIT Sullamul 'Ulum teachers on how to make digital books using flipbooks, such as using existing tools, making the content in digital books presented interesting so that students are easy to understand and can be applied to Learning Activities. Based on the results of the practice carried out by the participants, it was concluded that the average expertise of 90% of participants could follow and practice in making digital learning media using flipbooks.

Lanjut usia (Lansia) merupakan kelompok yang paling beresiko terkena Covid-19, dikarenakan lansia umumnya memiliki beberapa penyakit komorbid serta tingginya angka mortalitas pada lansia. Salah satu upaya untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada lansia ialah dengan langkah promotif dan preventif, antara lain dengan pemberian edukasi pada lansia. Selain itu, perlu juga diperhatikan agar lansia tetap sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19 sehingga kualitas hidup lansia tetap terjaga dan resiko tertular Covid-19 pada lansia dapat dikurangi. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap lansia tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19, dengan jumlah lansia sebanyak 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan pendampingan para lansia untuk berkumpul diruang aula, pemberian kuesioner untuk pre-test, penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan slide power point tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia, video, kartu SMART, demonstrasi teknik relaksasi nafas dalam serta diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab, post-test, dan pemberian makanan tambahan sehat untuk lansia. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan para lansia tentang pencegahan terjadinya infeksi Covid-19, meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap bahaya penularan serta menjadi lansia yang SMART. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Lansia, Sehat, Bahagia, SMART, Covid-19 ABSTRACT Elderly is the group most at risk of contracting Covid-19, because the elderly generally have several comorbid diseases and high mortality rates in the elderly. One of the efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the elderly is by promoting and preventive steps, including providing education to the elderly. In addition, it should also be noted that the elderly remain healthy and happy during the Covid-19 pandemic so that the quality of life for the elderly is maintained and the risk of contracting Covid-19 in the elderly can be reduced. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people during the Covid-19 pandemic, with 20 elderly people. The method of implementing this community service activity begins with the assistance of the elderly to gather in the hall, giving questionnaires for pre-test, delivering information with power point slides about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people, videos, SMART cards, demonstrations of deep breathing relaxation techniques. and ended with a question and answer session, post-test, and providing healthy supplementary food for the elderly. The results of this community service activity are expected to increase the knowledge of the elderly about preventing the occurrence of Covid-19 infection, increase awareness of the dangers of transmission and become SMART elderly. Indonesia is a country with a majority Muslim population. In terms of quantity, it has big potential as a center for the development of Islamic finance. The lack of Islamic financial literacy has made the public do not understand the importance of Islamic financial institutions in terms of both the benefit of the world and the hereafter. The method of implementing this activity is carried out in four stages, namely (1) Planning, (2) Preparation, (3) Implementation, and (4) Evaluation Implementation. At the implementation stage, socialization of sharia financial literacy is carried out to students, teachers and guardians of students and mentoring. The results obtained from community service are the first percentage of understanding and knowledge of financial literacy which increased from 56,5% to 85% both students, teachers and guardians of students viewed from the results of the pretest and posttest that have been given. Secondly, during the mentoring the participants gave a positive response with a percentage of 86% and 100% interested in participating in the second phase of socialization in order to know the positive developments after obtaining mentoring as seen from the results of the questionnaire responses that had been given.
