Voting in a democratic country is an important part of the means of choosing leaders. The village head election process in Indonesia still uses conventional voting methods, namely using ballot paper media in the election process. Voting that is carried out conventionally has several obstacles, including the lack of guaranteeing the authenticity of voters' votes, so that people think the results of voting results are often manipulated. In addition conventional selection is deemed inaccurate and time-consuming and costly. In this study the aim of this research is to design an information system e-voting that can be used for the Election of the Village Head of Cemandi, Sedati, Sidoarjo, East Java, where by using this system the election process becomes easier by ensuring the accuracy of the vote count. This system development method uses the model of software engineering waterfall. The test results blackbox show that the functions of the features in the system are running well. Based on the UAT test, the system received an average percentage rate of 86%.

Users have been described as necessary experts in information system developments. This research introduces a viewpoint that the users are the main actors in development projects and the other participants only give their experience for the use of the actual developers. In addition to the strong involvement of users, our research emphasises the special nature of the information system project with earlier-made specifications. This article suggests that in order to achieve a successful output, a reflective and flexible working process is needed. This suggestion is valid especially in a case that is out of the line of common approaches that are described in the literature. The research approach in this study was qualitative and the empirical material was gathered from a case study. The approach was subjective and it necessitated interpretation when analysing the results. The case included an information system development that was carried out to produce an inter-organisational information system to support certain functionality between organisations. Despite the output was an information system, we argue that the approach with active users is also applicable in the development of any other artefact.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the vilages financial management system based on the aspects of planning, implementation, administration, reporting to village financial accountability according to applicable regulations to determine the supporting and obstacles factor in the village financial management. This study taken place at 5 village that is Batuanten, Cipete, Karanglo, Karangtengah, and Pernasidi villege in sub-distric Cilongok, distric Banyumas, West Java Province. This study can be categorized as descriptive qualitative research using case study method. Deep interview and direct observation on village financial management activities are used on this study.  The reruslt are showed that generaly village financial management on  Cilongok sub-district is good enough, but there is still room on improvement  in  administration,  reporting, and accountability phase. The support from Cilongkok sub-district team, Banyumas district government assist and the performance of village financial management are the supporting factor in good village financial management at Cilongok sub-district. Plagiarism is a crime that often occurs in the academic world, plagiarism occurs because of theft of other people's work that is illegally recognized as if the work is his own. N-gram is an algorithm by cutting as many characters as N-characters in a sentence or word. While the Knuth Morris Pratt (KMP) algorithm is a string search algorithm, this algorithm is used to maintain information that is used to carry out the number of shifts whenever there is no matched patency in the text. The purpose of this study is to create a system to measure the comparison of the accuracy of the N-gram algorithm with a website-based KMP on a thesis abstract document. This research uses the waterfall system development method which has stages, namely analysis, design, coding, and testing. The KMP test results are better than N-gram where kmp has an average percentage of 3.8% while the N-gram 3.5% results are obtained from an average of 10 trials and 5 documents tested.

System Usability is becoming increasingly important in situations where assistance in the operation of a system is not readily available for the user. Traditionally, usability measures have consisted of post development testing in a usability lab. Usability practitioners are recognising the need for innovative procedures to incorporate usability in system development at an earlier stage than traditional testing allows and User Centred Design is an approach that meets this need. The objective of this chapter is to examine traditional usability testing and compare it to user centred design practices focusing on the resultant quality of the information system. An examination of literature concerning the two approaches is presented and comparisons made to a case study of a large Australian organisation utilising both measures. The experiences of developers and users within the organisation are presented, and the perceived quality of systems developed using both approaches is examined.
