This study aims to determine the effect of the application of Project Based Learning Model to Skill of Science Process on Environmental Management Material. This research design uses posttest-only control design with Quasi-Experimental method (quasi-experiment). The sample of this research is 35 students. Based on the results of the analysis of students' science process skills show that the implementation of learning using the model of Project Based Learning is better than the conventional learning model. This can be seen from the calculation of the test-t skills of the science process shows for sig tcount 0.000 <0,05, then Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The result of analysis of the average score of mastery of experimental science process skill class achieves 2.87 with good criteria while the students 'science process skill in control class 1.73 is sufficient to mean that the students' experimental class science process skill is higher than the control class science process skill. Thus, it can be concluded that the model of Project Based Learning affects the Skills of Science Process on Environmental Management Material.

Keywords: project based learning model; skills of science process.

This research aims to know the influence of the application of Project-Based Learning model do the Science Process Skills in environmental management material in VII class. Design research uses the posttest-only control design with quasi experiment method. The sample is 70 students. Based on the results of the analysis of the process of science skills, students indicated that the implementation of learning using project-based learning model is better than the conventional learning model. This can be seen in the calculation of test-t process skills science indicates that the Ha received and H0 is rejected. The results of the analysis of the average score of the science process skills thoroughly indicators in class experiments reached 2,87 with good criteria and in science process skills while students are in control class is 1,73 with enough criteria that means the science process skills grade experiment higher than science process skills class control. Based on the foregoing, Project-Based Learning model influence on Science process skills in environmental management material in VII Class.

This research was about the implementation of the ICARE (Introduction-Connect-Apply-Reflect-Extend) learning model to the science process skills compared to the DI (Direct Instruction) learning model. This research was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 4 Banjarmasin with sample consist of 2 classes selected by cluster random sampling, X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and X MIPA 4 as a control class. Data collection techniques were used test (instruments test description question) and observation technique like using the science process skills instrument. Data analysis using t-test obtained tcount larger than ttable at the 0.05 level of significance, ie 5.9 > 2.0, it means that there were a differenct in science process skills aspect between students who had learned with the ICARE learning model and the DI learning model. Students’ science process skills enhancement in the experimental class have a gain value of 0.61 in the medium category and in the control class have a gain value of 0.40 in the medium categoryKeywords: ICARE, science process skill, electrolyte and non electrolyte solution

AbstractInterest in learning was one of the factors that affected student learningoutcomes. Physical learning in the form of products, processes and scientificattitude required skills that process on the scientific performance called the scienceprocess skills. Project-based learning presents learning in the form of scientificprocesses and attitudes that could foster students' learning motivation. This researchwas an experimental research. The purpose of this research was to examine theeffect of project based learning model on learning interest and students' scienceprocess skill in physics learning at SMAN Balung. Data of student's interest inphysics learning was obtained from questionnaire and data of science process skillobtained from post test and there were supporting data in the form ofdocumentation, interview, and observation. The result of the independent sample ttest on the interest of physics learning showed the interest of experimental classphysics learning better than the control class. While the results of mann-whitney teston the science process students 'skills showed the students' experimental classscience process skills better than the control class. Based on the analysis it could beconcluded that the project based learning model had a significant effected on thestudents' learning interest and science process skills on physics learning at SMANBalung.Keyword: interest, project based learning model, science process skill

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) strategy assisted by Electronic Media in increasing learning motivation and Science Process Skills (KPS) on the material “Heat Transfer”. The study used a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest experimental design with 59 students. The experimental group was taught using the PjBL strategy while the control group was taught with a conventional strategy that was teacher-centred. Learning motivation is measured using questionnaires distributed to students, and KPS is measured through observation using observation sheets. The results, average score of KPS with the PjBL strategy = 86.33, the conventional strategy = 74.52; the average score of learning motivation with PjBL strategy = 78.05, conventional strategy = 69.49. Conclude from this data that the use of the PjBL based on e-media strategy is effective and influences the improvement of KPS and learning motivation of elementary school students.

Abstract This research aims to find out how much the effectiveness of using guided discovery learning model on temperature and heat material to improve students' science process skills. The research design used is Class Action Research which consists of three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Labschool Jakarta who have a low level of science process skill. Aspects of science process skills studied are hypothetical skills, interpretation of data, and communicate the findings. This research the step of guided discovery learning is: stimulus, problem statement, data collection, processing data, verifikation, generalisation. The instrument used is the KPS observation sheet and students’ worksheet. The indicator of this research is 70% of students can formulate a hypothesis, interpret the data and communicate data correctly. The results showed in the first cycle that students science process skills reach 17%, cycle II 61%, and in cycle III 81%. The average in third cycle is hypothetical skill 90.28 (very good category), data interpretation 91,67 (very good category), and communication skill 79 (good category). Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of students' science process skill by using guided discovery learning model on temperature and heat material. Keywords: science process skill, guided discovery learning, action research classroom Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model guided discovery learning pada materi suhu dan kalor. This research aims to know the effect of group investigation learning on student’s science process skill based on their IQ in SMAN 1 Mataram for eleventh grade students. This is a quasi experimental study using pretest postest control group design design. Pretest was taken to get data of student’s IQ. Posttest was also conducted to measure student’s science process skill. Sample was taken using nonprobability sampling from the population of eleventh grade student in SMAN 1 Mataram. The sample was two group of student each from two class, class XI sains 6 and as experimental group and class XI sains 5 as control group. The average os Student’s IQ on experimental group and control group were equal, both at 112. Learning processes were 12 x 45 minutes long in total. The experimental group showed better average score on posttest where they scored 82.40 on average, while control group only scored 74.83 on average. This value is statistically significant, at p = 0.007, less that 0.005. This result shows that implementation of group investigation can increase student’s science process skill. Keywords: Group investigation, science process skill, intelligence Quotient (IQ)ABSTRACT

Abstract The GI-GI learning model is a combination of the Group Investigation and the Guided Inquiry model. The research aimed to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. The type of research carried out was Quasi-Experimental and used a post-test only control group design and purposive sampling covering four high schools in the Besuki Residency, two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. This research implies that the GI-GI learning model can condition students to research in groups to interact actively with friends and educators to exchange opinions, knowledge, or experiences, find and solve problems, and hypothesize through investigation, exploration, and discussion outside or inside in class.
