The realization of village welfare and improvement of Village development can be started from the financial management aspects of the village.  The village government has authority ranging from planning, implementation, reporting to accountability.  There are two important variables as the financial aspects, there is village income, and village expenditure.  The village budget process is a plan that will be compiled systematically. Planning has an association with predictions which is an indication of what is supposed to happen and predictions relating to what will happen.   To provide a  good village budget planning the village budget prediction feature is required. This prediction feature is done using data mining which is modeled i.e. multiple linear regression algorithm.  The variable is selected using a purposive sampling technique and the sample count is 29 villages.  Dependent variables are village Expenditure as Y, and independent variables i.e. village funds as  X1 and village funding allocation as X2.   The best values as validation were gained in the 3rd fold with a correlation coefficient of 0.8907, Mean Absolute Error value of 87209395.37, the value of Root Mean Squared Error of 114867675.6, Roll Absolute  Error  (RAE) Percentage was 42 %, and  Root  Relative  Squared Error was 44 %.

Impact of Work Discipline on the Performance Capability of the Nagari Apparatus in Managing Financial Nagari in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of work discipline on the performance capabilities of the nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts. The population used in this study were all nagari apparatus in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Subdistricts of 80 people, while the samples used as many as 75 respondents were determined by the Slovin formula using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this study was conducted using a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the work discipline of the nagari apparatus is relatively high while the performance of the nagari apparatus is still low and the results of the regression test explain that work discipline has an impact on the performance capabilities of the nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts.

This study aims to determine whether the workload influential on the performance of nagari government apparatus in nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. The background of this study was carried out because of the excessive workload received by the nagari government apparatus in nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. This study uses a quantitative methods with population of this study was all nagari government apparatus, which numbered 600 people. Sample in this study was consisted of 248 nagari government apparatus determined with Slovin formula. Besides, sample in this study was determined through Multistage Random Sampling technique. The data was collected through questionnaires using Likert scale measurement. The data was analyzed with multiple linear regression tests. The results of this study showed that the workload variable (simultaneously) influenced the performance of nagari government apparatus in financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. This it could be concluded that workload had a significant effect on the performance of nagari government apparatus in nagari finance management in Tanah Datar Regency

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work spirit on the performance of nagari apparatus in Nagari financial management in Pesisir Selatan Regency. The background of this study is due to the low work spirit of Nagari apparatus in Koto XI Tarusan and Bayang subdistrict which is still so that it has an impact on Nagari financial management that is not optimal. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the form of associative research. The population in this study was of Nagari apparatus in Koto XI Tarusan and Bayang Subdistrict, totaling 140 respondents. The sample in this study consisted of 126 Nagari apparatus which were determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% and the sampling technique using the Proportionate Stratifed Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique in this study are using questionnaires distributed to respondents with measurement using a Likert scale. The data obtained are then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the work spirit variable (simultaneously) has a significant effect on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari financial management with a significance value of 0,000 and the value of Adjust R Square 0.295. Thus, the influence of work spirit on the performance of nagari apparatus in managing nagari finances is 29.5%. While the remaining 70.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

The purpose of this study is to find out the work discipline, work motivation and work environment on the performance of employees in the financial management and gresik district asset management agencies. The sample uses probability sampling technique as many as 72 respondents propotionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results of multiple linear regression analysis prove that work discipline, work motivation and work environment are proven to have a significant partial effect on employee performance in financial management and gresik district assets. Simultaneously work discipline, work motivation and work environment also proved to have a significant effect on performance

Background The problem of multicollinearity in multiple linear regression models arises when the predictor variables are correlated among each other. The variance of the ordinary least squared estimator become unstable in such situation. In order to mitigate the problem of multicollinearity, Liu regression is widely used as a biased method of estimation with shrinkage parameter ‘d’. The optimal value of shrinkage parameter plays a vital role in bias-variance trade-off. Limitation Several estimators are available in literature for the estimation of shrinkage parameter. But the existing estimators do not perform well in terms of smaller mean squared error when the problem of multicollinearity is high or severe. Methodology In this paper, some new estimators for the shrinkage parameter are proposed. The proposed estimators are the class of estimators that are based on quantile of the regression coefficients. The performance of the new estimators is compared with the existing estimators through Monte Carlo simulation. Mean squared error and mean absolute error is considered as evaluation criteria of the estimators. Tobacco dataset is used as an application to illustrate the benefits of the new estimators and support the simulation results. Findings The new estimators outperform the existing estimators in most of the considered scenarios including high and severe cases of multicollinearity. 95% mean prediction interval of all the estimators is also computed for the Tobacco data. The new estimators give the best mean prediction interval among all other estimators. The implications of the findings We recommend the use of new estimators to practitioners when the problem of high to severe multicollinearity exists among the predictor variables.

The broad area of data mining covers most of the fields of research. Its role in medical diagnosis is very motivative to the researchers. It is very easy for the medical practitioners to analyze and treat the disease of the patients at an early stage. The proposed work deals with predicting heart disease of the patients at an early stage. The method was organized in three stages, Data collection, Data preprocessing and Data classification. The dataset for the work was collected from UCI repository. The collected sample was first preprocessed to clean unwanted information from the dataset. Classification operation is then performed on the preprocessed data. Classification is carried out with three different techniques, Linear regression model, SMOreg and REP trees. The results of the three methods were compared based on Root mean squared error and the Absolute error and are tabulated

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of regulation, supervision system, village heads and village assistant on the performance of Village Fund Management in Bogor Regency. The sample consists of 51 respondents using purposive sampling technique, which consist of village officials (village head, village secretary, section head/head of affairs), village communities, village assistant, and local government representatives who handle village coaching and supervision in Bogor Regency. Data were analyzed using Likert scale instrument and multiple linear regression. The results showed that all the independent variables (regulation, supervision system, village head dan the village facilitator) have a siginificant effects on the success of Village Fund management if tested simultaneously (F test), but only the regulation variable had a significant effect on the management of Village Fund in Bogor Regency if a partial test was carried out (t test). The adjusted R-square value is 0,442 or 44,2% which means 44,2% of the success variable of Village Fund management can be explained by the four independent variables (regulation, supervision system, village head dan the village facilitator), while the remaining 55,8% explained by other independent variables outside the model in this study.
