Abstract Background. Health behaviours are very important factors of human life. Currently, as the number of vaccinated children in Poland and throughout Europe is decreasing, parents’ health behaviours may affect the frequency of vaccinations. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of parents’ preferred health behaviours regarding vaccinations.Methods. The study was carried out using a diagnostic survey method with an original questionnaire and the Inventory of Health Behaviours. The study included 300 parents. Results: The level of health behaviours was average in 42.3% of the respondents, low in 33%, and high in 24.7%. Convictions about immunity after contracting a disease, the need to vaccinate for all diseases, the vaccination system, the quality of the vaccines used in Poland, the universal obligation to vaccinate, and the admission of unvaccinated children to crèches and kindergartens were not statistically related to health behaviours. Significant differences in health behaviours, mainly the level of normal eating habits (p = 0.038) and positive mental attitude (p = 0.022), were found in relation to views on the toxicity of vaccines. Participants who reported that vaccines can cause autism engaged in a higher level of prophylactic behaviours. Respondents who vaccinated their children with combined vaccines had a significantly higher level of health practices. Significant or near-significant differences in health behaviour levels in various areas were found between those who sought the recommended vaccinations and those who did not. Conclusions: The health behaviour levels of the majority of the respondents were average, and the most frequent category was "positive mental attitude.” Parents who believed in the toxicity of vaccines were more concerned about proper nutrition, had a positive mental attitude, and engaged in a higher level of preventive behaviours and health practices. Parents who did not vaccinate their children had lower levels of normal eating habits. Parents who vaccinated their children with additional vaccines had a higher level of health behaviours, especially in terms of health practices.

AbstractObjectiveEating habits of Finns have improved dramatically in 40 years. The proportion of fat in the diet has decreased and vegetable and fruit consumption increased. Knowledge of Finnish young men’s dietary habits is limited. The aim was to assess food choices and quality of diet among young men and to analyse how background and health behaviour factors explain it.DesignIn 2007, data on eating habits, sociodemographic background factors and health behaviours of 17–21-year-old men (n 2905) entering military service were collected by self-administrated questionnaire. Two indexes – core food index (CFI) and extra food index (EFI) – were formed to describe daily and redundant snacking-type eating, respectively. Associations of background factors and health behaviours on the indexes were analysed by general linear modelling.ResultsIn all, 13 % consumed fruits and berries daily and 8 % consumed vegetables, whereas 24 % consumed pizza and 19 % consumed hamburgers more than once a week. CFI increased with educational level (P < 0·001) and was explained by background and health behaviour (smoking, physical activity and eating breakfast). EFI was inversely associated with BMI (P < 0·001) and explained by health behaviour: (smoking, physical activity, drinking beer and eating breakfast).ConclusionsThese results indicate that in early adulthood, eating habits cluster with other health behaviours among men. In this age group, education is associated with core food but not with extra food eating habits. Furthermore, seasonal variation is seen in both types of eating. When promoting healthy eating, a distinction between core foods and extra foods by using feasible indexes will be helpful in targeting the efforts.

Introduction: The basic determinant of healthy behaviour—among other human behaviours—is the fact that it consistently affects health. Nowadays, health behaviour studies are considered to be an important method of measuring the health of a population. Objective: To assess the health behaviours and value-based health analysis of people aged 50+ who were hospitalized due to cardiovascular disease, depending on the selected descriptive variables. Materials and methods: The study was conducted between April 2018 and December 2018 among 411 subjects aged 50+ who were hospitalized due to cardiovascular disease at the Independent Public Health Care Unit in Sanok (Podkarpackie voivodship in Poland). The method used in the study was a diagnostic survey. The study used the authors’ survey questionnaire and two standardized tests: Inventory of Health-Related Behaviour (IHB) and List of Health Criteria (LHC). A statistical analysis was carried out in the R program, version 3.5.1. The obtained results were subjected to thorough statistical analysis using the following tests: Student’s t, Mann–Whitney U, ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis, Fisher’s Least Significant Difference (LSD), Pearson, and Spearman. Results: The strongest correlation between health status and health behaviours (according to the IHB questionnaire) was in the area of ‘health practices’, while the lowest correlation was found in the areas of ‘correct eating habits’ and ‘preventive behaviours’. Based on the LHC questionnaire, the most important health criteria according to the subjects were ‘not feeling any physical ailments’; ‘having all body parts functional’; ‘feeling well’; ‘eating properly’; and ‘infrequent need of going to the doctor’. A positive correlation was found in the group of respondents where the ‘preventive health behaviours’ were more intense; herein, the more important criterion for the respondents was ‘eating properly’. Conclusions: Respondents aged 50+ and hospitalized for cardiovascular diseases indicated (based on the IHB questionnaire) that health behaviours in the area of ‘health practices’ had the strongest correlation with their health, while the lowest correlation was found in the areas of ‘correct eating habits’ and ‘preventive behaviours’. According to the respondents, the most important criteria determining health (according to the LHC questionnaire) included ’not feeling any physical ailments’; ‘having all body parts functional’; ‘feeling well’; ‘eating properly’; and ‘infrequent need of going to the doctor’. Based on the information collected from the respondents, it was found that the most important criteria determining health depended on selected descriptive variables, such as age, gender, place of residence, education, and marital status.

The permeability of all spheres of both economic activity and human life with digital technologies encourages the search for new marketing ideas necessary for the implementation of the product (goods, works and services).  Today's consumer has become more demanding both to the product itself and to the ways of presenting it.  Immersive technologies are becoming one of the tools that contribute to the formation of competitive advantages, especially the organization of business in the field of entertainment, as one of the areas of additional income in the field of hotel and restaurant services and marketing activities of enterprises.  Digital transformation leads to the search for new initiatives that will be a tool to meet customer needs and a way to reach wider market segments.  The process of digitalization must first be integrated into the economy of the whole state and the enterprise as a whole, and in all processes of production of goods, works and services.  Digital-transformation of domestic enterprises will help to obtain additional competitive advantages both in the domestic market and in the international market.  The formation of competitive advantages is associated not only with the maximum involvement of digital technologies in business.  It is important to choose such technologies that will be most effective in the implementation of a particular type of enterprise, under certain conditions and in a particular environment. The expediency of using immersive technologies as a marketing tool is undeniable.  However, in addition to tools, immersive technologies are important as a means of education, a separate milestone in the field of entertainment, a means of psychological influence and more.  That is, the impact of this tool on the level of competitiveness of the enterprise in the environment of the demanding consumer is manifested: in the form of reducing the cost of attracting the client; active covert promotion through their use; improving the quality of the presented product (goods, works, services); ensuring the elasticity of the enterprise to the needs and requirements of consumers; the transition of the enterprise to an innovative type of development and active digitalization.

Status perairan Sungai Wulan berdasarkan kandungan klorofil-a tergolong oligotrofik dan berdasarkan kelimpahan fitoplankton tergolong mesotrofik.Kata Kunci: Klorofil-a; Fitoplankton; Sungai Wulan  ABSTRACTWulan River is a river that passes through three regencies there are Grobogan, Kudus and Demak. Wulan River located in Demak Regency, has two branches there are Wulan Lama and Wulan Baru. This river has been used a lot by the residents for many activities such as fishery activities, domestic and transportation. There is also mangrove area in the downstream of Wulan River. The impact of those human activities presumably will affect the quality of the waters, it is also presumed to impact the existence of phytoplankton and the contents of chorophyl-a. This research was conducted on March - April 2016 aimed to know the contents of chlorophyl-a, the type and abundance of phytoplankton and the status of waters based on the content of chlorophyll-a and the abundance of phytoplankton. This research used survey method and purposive a sampling teqnique. The sampling was conducted in three different locations, that is in the nearby people residence (Station 1), Wulan Baru (Station 2) and Wulan Lama (Station 3). The Kruskal-Wallis analysis was used to determine differences of chlorophyll-a between the stations and Cluster analysis was used to determine similarity groups based on the phytoplankton community and environment variables between stations. The results showed chlorophyll-a range between 0,4955 - 1,3527 mg/l. There is no significant difference between the content of chlorophyll-a per station at the level of 95% (P < 0,05). The abundance of phytoplankton ranged between 9.458 – 12.422 ind/l. The phytoplankton was obtained consisting of 35 genus consisted of 5 classes, namely Bacillariophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Dynophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Euglenophyceae. Both Station 2 and Station 3 had a more similarity in the community of phytoplankton and the environment variable compared to the Station 1. The status waters of the Wulan Rivers based on the contents chlorophyll-a was classified into oligotrophic and based on the abundance of phytoplankton was classified into mesotrophic. Keywords: Chlorophyl-a; Phytoplankton; Wulan River
