This research aims to explain the relationships among variables : competence, self leadership, reward systems, work environment; commitment to profession, and professionalizm of teachers of SMAN at Bali. The sample size are 243 teachers who selected by proportional random technique from 12 units of Senior High School Satate at Bali. The tool of analyisis which is used is structural equation model analysis, with supported by AMOS version 19.00  application. The results shows those : (1) the effect of competence to the commitment to profession, is not significant; (2) the self leadership’s effect to the commitment to profession; is not significant also; (3) the effect of reward systems to the commitment to profession is positively significant; (4) the work environment’s effect to the commitment to profession is positively significant; (5) the self leadership’s effect to  the professionalizm is not significant; (6) the rewad systems’ effect to professionalizm is positively significant; (7) the effect of work environment to professionalizm is positively significant; (8) the effect of  commitment to profession to professionalizm is positively significant. In general, the structural equation model which is accomplished, has passed the criterions of goodness of fit, i.e :: c2 = 276.359; probability of c2 = 0.012; Cmin/DF = 1.749; GFI = 0.923; AGFI = 0.902; RMSEA = 0.056; and TLI = 0.921.  Keywords : competence, self leadership, reward systems, work environment; commit-ment to profession, and professionalizm

The purpose of this paper is to investigate what factors influenced on Teacher competencies Test (Uji Kompetensi Guru/UKG) of Indonesian ESL Senior High School teacher’s in West Java Indonesia. The data used in this study were derived from a teacher competencies test, and a questionnaire survey conducted among teachers who attended National Gathering of Senior High School English Teachers 2017 in Bandung, West Java. A total of 61 usable responses were received. The analysis was using Structural Equation Model (SEM) to see the correlations among variables also identify which predictors influenced most on Teacher Competencies Test. The result revealed that teacher competencies test was mostly influenced by education background (β =.27, p=0.028). It can be concluded that to increase the teacher’s competencies can be done by giving a chance to teachers to continue their study.

A correlational study to find out the relationship between the independent variables (psychological resources and gaudiebility) and the dependent variables (academic performance, stress, and risk behaviors) is developed and a Structural Equation Model (SEM) is proposed.

Currently, the university failure rate is around 33% of students starting their studies. Among the main reasons are demanding academic situations and the use of inappropriate coping strategies. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the influence of teacher leadership on academic resilience and motivation, burnout, and academic performance. This study involved 3354 university students. A structural equation model was made to analyze the predictive relationships between the study’s variables. The results showed that teacher leadership positively predicted academic resilience and motivation; academic resilience negatively predicted burnout and positively predicted academic performance; likewise, academic motivation negatively predicted burnout and positively predicted academic performance; finally, burnout negatively predicted academic resilience.

Smoking is a worldwide problem that threatens people’s health. The average age of smokers has decreased with each passing day. Thus, studies focusing on preventing children or teenagers from starting smoking or studies aiming to help people quit smoking are one of the most effective ways of the fight against smoking. In order to prevent smoking behavior of young people it is necessary to thoroughly examine the reasons of such behavior. In this study, smoking behavior of high school students was examined in the framework of Planned Behavior Theory, which is a socio-psychological theory (TPB, Ajzen, 1985). With the structural equation model, which was constructed by taking TPB components into account, factors affecting students’ smoking behavior were determined. Theory of Planned Behavior has explained the smoking behaviors of the participants in 72%. It was seen that the most important TPB component that affects students’ behavior is attitude, which is followed by subjective norm and perceived behavior control, respectively. The results indicate that one should work on attitude first and foremost, and thus on behavioral beliefs in order to make changes in the students’ tendency to smoke, in other words, in their behavior. Key words: health education, smoking, structural equation model, theory of planned behavior.
