This study aims to design a web-based claim management system (supported with helpdesk system) and its BlackBerry® application for PT. Hoppecke Indonesia. An analysis through literature study and field survey (interview to the employees of PT. Hoppecke Indonesia) is implemented in this study based on the incremental method. The result achieved is a design web-based claims management system and the BlackBerry® application. The design is expected to maintain the relationship between customers and companies, especially in term of item maintenance and to make easy for customers to obtain information that will lead to loyalty to the company. Plus, the documentation of each interaction between customer and the company can be recorded properly.

The aim of this study is to use Radio Frequency technology to facilitate human activities, especially used in Busway entrances. In this research methodologies used include field survey to the BP Transjakarta; literature study by reading manuals, text books, journals, and articles on the Internet, and conduct laboratory experiments on the Bina Nusantara University Hardware Research Laboratory in designing and making the minimum system . Based on the results of an experiment and taking data on the minimum system, it can be concluded in general the performance of the system is running well, but the response time was not optimal. Some improvements to the system needed to improve system performance, such as raising response time, improved data security, and online systems.

A Learning Management System (LMS) is a system which acts as an integrated platform for the management of the learning process used to facilitate the process of communication between students and instructors. Although LMS is considered an important element in learning, most students do not utilise the system to its fullest extent, finding it more convenient if the activities carried out on the system are done outside the system. These factors have contributed to the issues as to why LMSs are not being used effectively and efficiently. With the accelerating pace of information technology, educational institutions should attempt to revolutionise their teaching techniques. Furthermore, combining gaming concepts can potentially increase the LMS’s usability level helping to foster healthy competition among students and increase their interest in their daily learning. With regard to this objective, a prototype was developed as a proof of concept. The prototype is a web-based software and can be accessed via the Internet at all times. The teacher monitors the students’ performance through the analysis of test results or tutorials conducted by the system. In conclusion, this study will present the modules that have been built into the system that could improve the overall process of education.

The purpose of this study is to determine the positive effects of e-learning systems on improving student's understanding of concepts and comparing e-learning with old learning system. Nowadays, the internet is one of the way to find informations easily without reading books and attending classes. The method used in this research is literature study method by obtaining information and data from various sources. The results from this study is that e-learning can improve students' cognitive abilitiesas it is easier to access words, powerpoint, html or PDF in the application. The conclusion is that e-learning can be used as a learning innovation that can help teachers and students using the Software Learning Management System

Abstract: Covid-19 is a disease outbreak with terrible effects, where it can cause death. In this case the body will form an immune system to fight the incoming virus. One thing that will affect the immune system is anxiety. So the focus and purpose of the researcher is to show the relationship between anxiety and covid-19 based on the quote of the Lord Jesus in Luke. 21:26. A qualitative method with literature study and hermeneutics will be used in this paper. As a result, fear and anxiety are currently being experienced by everyone because of the covid-19 pandemic which can be interpreted as a pestilence and as a sign of the end of time. Although this is not a sign of the end times that can be measured with certainty, it is psychologically and emotionally disturbed and exacerbated by the news that is presented on the internet and social media in excess. The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak has brought a significant impact on the in-person learning access to the on-campus Self-Access Center (SAC). Therefore, there is a need for an electronic Self-Access Language Learning (e-SALL) innovation to address the newly emerging issues in the field. This perspectives article suggests several ways of facilitating self-access learning using web-based technologies. It also includes some key technological and pedagogical considerations in providing in-person learning access beyond the school. We argue that the integration between a Learning Management System (LMS) as a web-based learning platform and the internet-based materials and resources will sustain the in-person learning practice from a lens of technology and the pedagogy of learner autonomy.

Abstract Following the first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Japanese government announced the Declaration of a State of Emergency in April 2020, which aimed to decrease contact between people and requested that residents refrain from leaving home. Even in the absence of penalties, outings decreased under the declaration. We are interested in how outings declined and studied the substitution relationship between Internet use and outings. A web-based survey was conducted to collect data on Internet use and outings in a retrospective manner. The period covered by our data is from mid-February to mid-May 2020. Multilevel analysis and correspondence analysis were performed to examine the relationship between Internet use and outings. The results clearly show that Internet use replaced outings. In particular, Internet use for socializing, exercise, and leisure/entertainment had a significant substitution relationship with outings. In contrast, there was a weak substitution relationship between Internet use for daily shopping and outings. Although telework tends to be an accepted focus of Internet use under the COVID-19 outbreak, it should not be overlooked that other uses of the Internet, such as for leisure/entertainment, also supported the decline in outings.

This study aimed to determine web-based teaching materials in the covid-19 pandemic time as implementation of technological advancements. The method used is literature study or literature review. A literature study is a research design used in collecting data sources related to a topic. It collects data for the study of literature using a database to search for literature sources. Data collection used the Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) method. From the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the web or website is a site that contains various documents and information that can be accessed by individuals and groups using the internet. Because of its superiority in finding information, the website is widely used as a medium of communication, promoting business, and even learning activities. Through the website, the implementation of learning will be easier and more interesting. Students can access various learning resources through the website, provide complete practice questions, and provide discussion space for students and interesting visualizations.
