This research aimed to describe the reflexive pronoun of the language of the Bidayuh-Somu and the English in terms of its formation process. The research data was reflexive pronoun of the Bidayuh-Somu language taken from the dissertation and the English language reflexive pronoun taken from the website. The method of research was comparative, and the technique of data analysis was descriptive. It is found that morphologically, the reflexive pronoun of the Bidayuh-Somu language is formed by attaching the prefix goni- that is derivational to free morpheme. In the English language, the reflexive pronoun is formed by affixing the suffix -self/-selves that is inflectional to free morpheme. The free morpheme, in the case of these two languages, is a personal pronoun. In terms of function, the two morphemes are both class-maintaining. Furthermore, in terms of word meaning, they are unchanged. The complex word the prefix goni- forms is prefixal, while the complex word the suffix -self/-selves forms are suffixal. The importance of comparing the prefix goni- with the suffix -self/-selves is to linguistically provide a description of similarities in terms of the morphological process for reflexive pronoun formation. Although the process of affixation is different, one employs derivational, and the other one applies inflectional. However, the description indicates that the two affixes are similar in terms of duty to reflexive pronoun formation. In the syntactic model of morphology, the use of the two reflexive pronouns is to intensify or emphasize the personal pronoun. They reflect upon the sentences’ subjects or as antecedents of the subjects in sentences.

Communicative situation “Talk of Friends” is the only one to represent discourse of friendship. This presupposes that discourse subject’s role is that of FRIEND in its different varieties. However, talk of friends is not always of cooperative nature. In case of non-cooperative character it embraces two subtypes, namely: potentially conflicting and conflicting. In the first case the dialogue participants face a threat to their friendship, in the second case their talk puts an end to it. This article aims at establishing the role infrastructure for both subtypes of the uncooperative type of the communicative situation “Talk of Friends”. Approaching discourse subject as that of mental, communicative and verbal activity results in analyzing each role in the cognitive and communicative aspects and as for the means of its verbal manifestations. The research data analysis gives grounds to argue that the subject roles, proper to the potentially conflicting situation subtype, are friend critic and indifferent friend. The role friend critic is implemented with the communicative aim to reveal the drawbacks of a friend, so that he/she could get rid of them, it is realized by negative evaluative utterances and often combines with the role friend adviser in a dialogue. The role indifferent friend aims at distancing from the other through denying him/her of help, sympathy etc. Non-specific utterances of refusal and disagreement serve to realize this role. In the conflicting non-cooperative situation “Talk of Friends” the role NOT A FRIEND is the only one of the discourse subject, who explicitly/implicitly informs the other about the end of their friendship because of the negative evaluation of the other or himself/herself. Each of the roles is implemented on the basis of the corresponding scenario.

This study aims to describe procedural fluency in solving problems for students of the Mathematics Education Department at the STKIP Pamane Talino who obtain high and low mathematical dispositions through learning assisted by Google Classroom. This research is a qualitative research. The research subjects were two students in the third semester. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling. The research data was obtained by tests and interviews, and the validity of the data was obtained by using the triangulation method. The techniques of data analysis were trough: 1) classifying data into three indicators of the smoothness of the procedure; namely: a) implementing procedures appropriately, b) selecting and utilizing procedures, c) modifying procedures, then reducing data that are not included in the 3 indicators; 2) presenting data in a narrative; 3) concluding the procedural fluency obtained from the indicators of procedural fluency in problem-solving steps. The results of the high mathematical disposition analysis showed that students had excellent procedural skills because they could apply procedures appropriately. They were able to select and utilize procedures accurately, and were able to apply procedures properly and flexibly. In the other side, the students with low mathematical disposition, they had poor procedural skills because even though they were able to apply the procedure, choose, and use the procedure appropriately, they still could not comply with the procedure appropriately and accurately for they answered all the questions incorrectly.

At first glance Reflexivization in Italian seems to obey the same restrictions we find in English. Thus, if we consider the proposal that reflexive pronouns and their antecedents must be clausemates in English, we find in Italian that the same clausemate condition holds and that for any two coreferential pronouns within the same clause, the second of them is a reflexive pronoun. If, on the other hand, we consider the proposal that a reflexive pronoun and its antecedent may be indefinitely far apart provided that certain circumstances are not present, such as an intervening specified subject or the reflexive's being in a tensed S to which the antecedent does not belong (as in Chomsky (1973)), again the same conditions hold for Italian Reflexivization; as illustrated in (I)–(3).

This article is devoted to one of the auxiliary groups of words used in the English and Uzbek languages – particles. The British and Uzbeks live in distant lands, belong to different language families, and speak different language systems; naturally, they differ in their closeness to each other in terms of word grouping. It is known that in the modern Uzbek literary language there are six types of words meaning due to suffixes, some of which are added to the word, and some are separated from the word with a hyphen. Given the above, the heterogeneous nature of the particle becomes clear (from the Greek word meaning "another type", i.e. variety, the presence of different parts in one structure). The article explains that there are additional suffixes in the Uzbek language, and mainly the addition at the end of a word shows its agglutinative character, while English is an inflectional language, so there are no suffixes at the end of the words. As we mentioned above in the Uzbek language the particles are written with a hyphen in accordance with the rules of punctuation, sometimes with a comma, which is almost not typical for the English language. This feature is relatively rare in English. In addition, the article is based on the use of examples, where the possibility of switching between auxiliary words is not excluded, the function of one performing the function of the other is not excluded, as is the case with all auxiliary words.

This paper discussed the cultural values of the South Wakorumba Society in the Ngkaa-ngkaasi folklore. This paper is motivated by the beginning of a reduction in public awareness of the presence of folklore in everyday life. Folklore, which contains a lot of good values, it should stay alive and be preserved in society. On the other hand, the source of the folklore of the elderly people who have mostly died will be increasingly disappeared because these parents may not necessarily pass this story on to their children and grandchildren. So, it is feared that this folklore will become extinct.  This paper aimed to describe the cultural values of the South Wakorumba community in the Ngkaa-ngkasi folklore. This paper was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used was recording techniques, observation techniques, and interview techniques. The sources of the research data were the elderly people in South Wakorumba sub-district who know the folklore that lives and develops in the community. The results of data analysis showed that there are cultural values of the South Wakorumba community in the Ngkaa-ngkasi folklore, namely cultural values about human relations as individuals (acting calm and unhurried, adding to life knowledge, and fostering personal discipline), cultural values about human relations with humans (please help in kindness, being generous, and deliberation), and cultural values about human relations with nature (utilizing nature).

It is well established that unique physiological information can be obtained by rapidly freezing cells in various functional states and analyzing the cell element content and distribution by electron probe x-ray microanalysis. (The other techniques of microanalysis that are amenable to imaging, such as electron energy loss spectroscopy, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, particle induced x-ray emission etc., are not addressed in this tutorial.) However, the usual processes of data acquisition are labor intensive and lengthy, requiring that x-ray counts be collected from individually selected regions of each cell in question and that data analysis be performed subsequent to data collection. A judicious combination of quantitative elemental maps and static raster probes adds not only an additional overall perception of what is occurring during a particular biological manipulation or event, but substantially increases data productivity. Recent advances in microcomputer instrumentation and software have made readily feasible the acquisition and processing of digital quantitative x-ray maps of one to several cells.

The number of English Language Learners (ELL) is increasing in all regions of the United States. Although the majority (71%) speak Spanish as their first language, the other 29% may speak one of as many as 100 or more different languages. In spite of an increasing number of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) who can provide bilingual services, the likelihood of a match between a given student's primary language and an SLP's is rather minimal. The second best option is to work with a trained language interpreter in the student's language. However, very frequently, this interpreter may be bilingual but not trained to do the job.
