Bina Nusantara University is a university with a rapid development of its e-learning system in the teaching-learning process and Chinese Department is one department using the e-learning system. This research was done to find out the role e-learning in improving the students’ interest in studying Chinese language. Data were collected by interviewing lecturers and distributing questionnaires to 120 students. Then, the data were tabulated and analysed. The result of the research shows that the respondents are familiar with Binusmaya – the e-learning system used – but they seldom use it because they do not think of its benefit. Thus, it can be concluded that Binusmaya does not both support the students of the Chinese Department in the teaching and learning process and in improving the students’ interest.

Technology has experienced very rapid development at this time and has brought changes and has a positive and negative impact on human life. One of the fields currently contaminated by technological developments is the field of education, especially in Indonesia, where at first the learning system was still manual-based and is currently developing into an online learning system. It is clear that various levels of schools and universities have used technology to support their learning process and apply it. One of the uses of technology in the field of education is learning management systems (NGOs) such as e-learning. The use of e-learning as a learning medium has a function to improve the quality of student learning and help improve student understanding in learning. However, there are still many schools that have not implemented e-learning in their teaching and learning process, such as high school (SMA). Therefore, the design of this e-learning application web design is expected to help several schools that require an online learning system that is user friendly so that schools can be better prepared to follow current development trends.

ABSTRACT<br /><br />Dhyana Pura University is a university that has a website as a means to provide<br />information to students and the public, but on the web that is owned by the University Dhyana<br />Pura does not have E-learning facilities. One way to make teaching and learning process more<br />effective and efficient is to design and implement e-learning information system so that the<br />teaching and learning process can not only be done while in the classroom, but not limited by<br />space and time.<br />E-Learning is a type of teaching learning that allows the delivery of teaching materials to<br />students by using the media Internet, Intranet or other computer network media.<br />The results of this study is a web-based information system that contains some facilities<br />such as quiz that allows students to implement quiz online. This research uses Random Matrix<br />method, where the quiz which is done by the student will be randomized. A variety of tools are available to collect, process and analyse learning data obtained from the clickstream generated by students watching learning resources in video format. There is also some literature on the uses of such data in order to better understand and improve the teaching-learning process. Most of the literature focuses on large scale learning scenarios, such as MOOCs, where videos are watched hundreds or thousands of times. We have developed a solution to collect clickstream analytics data applicable to smaller scenarios, much more common in primary, secondary and higher education, where videos are watched tens or hundreds of times, and to analyse whether the solution is useful to teachers to improve the learning process. We have deployed it in a real scenario and collected real data. Furthermore, we have processed and presented the data visually to teachers for those scenarios and have collected and analysed their perception of their usefulness. We conclude that the collected data are perceived as useful by teachers to improve the teaching and learning process.

The COVID-19 pandemic has spread worldwide, including Indonesia. The Indonesian government recommends all citizens to stay at home and to work and study from home. Therefore, most universities have implemented e-learning in their teaching and learning process. This research focused on the effect of e-learning on students’ interest and learning at the varsity level. Quantitative research methods were used. The data were collected from 176 students from two private universities in Medan, Sumatera Utara. The findings were that e-learning enabled the students to access the global world and distribute learning materials through WhatsApp. Assignments were marked promptly and e-learning helped students to set their own schedule. E-learning motivated the students to do their own work without others’ help, but the students did not agree that e-learning enhanced the quality of the teaching-learning process. Number of mobile subscriptions has increased tremendously due to rapid development of mobile technologies. The performance and accessibility of the e-learning process can be enhanced through mobile devices which is called m-learning. M-learning makes learning resources available anywhere and anytime, provide strong search capabilities, and offers easy interaction features to the learners. M-learning also points the opportunity for interoperability than existing e-learning system. The integration of semantic web in m-learning can improve the efficiency of searching for learning objects and reduce the time and cost of learning process. Semantic web can be integrated with the help of ontologies and learning objects in semantic web. They offer rich medium to assist m-learning via semantic annotated learning objects and shared repositories. Two types of ontologies, such as learning object content ontology and learning object structure ontology are used in this system. These ontologies facilitate the reuse, sharing and retrieval of relevant learning objects which are the backbone of m-learning.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep dan prosedur praktis model pembelajaran joyful learning dalam rangka pelatihan guru di Gantiwarno Klaten yang dilakukan oleh Tim PPM dari Departemen Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan di dalamnya terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara pendidik dan siswa, tanpa merasa terpaksa atau merasa tertekan. Relasi antara guru dan siswa nampak perlu dirubah dalam posisi egaliter. Perkembangan teknologi informasi memungkinkan siswa mendapatkan informasi lebih cepat dan beragam. Pola pembelajaran daring Joyful learning merupakan suasana belajar-mengajar yang menyenangkan agar siswa memfokuskan perhatiannya penuh pada pembelajaran sehingga waktu untuk memfokuskan perhatiannya tinggi. Waktu yang tinggi untuk memusatkan perhatian terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar. Keadaan aktif dan menyenangkan tidak cukup jika proses pembelajaran tidak efektif yaitu tidak menghasilkan apa yang harus dikuasai siswa setelah proses pembelajaran berlangsung, karena pembelajaran mempunyai sejumlah tujuan pembelajaran yang harus tercapai. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi para guru untuk memahami pentingnya menerapkan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam proses belajar mengajar sehari-hari dan untuk konteks saat ini lebih penting lagi karena selama pandemi COVID-19 siswa dibombardir dengan tugas yang banyak dan juga materi yang bertubi-tubi selama masa belajar School From Home (SFH). Masa belajar selama pandemi tidak bisa dilihat sebagai pembelajaran yang menyenangkan lagi. Untuk itu, Jurusan Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan hadir untuk memberikan pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, bagaimana konsep dikonstruksi dan juga praktik pembelajaran yang menyenangkan mulai dari penyusunan rencana pelajaran (RPP) hingga simulasi model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam bentuk. acara PPM guru di Gantiwarno, Klaten.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran menyenangkan, guru, RPPThe purpose of this paper is to explain the concept and practical procedures of joyful learning model in the context of teachers’ training in Gantiwarno Klaten, done by PPM Team from the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology. Joyful learning is a learning process in which there is a strong relationship between educators and students, without feeling forced or depressed (not under pressure). The teacher positions himself as a facilitator and student learning partner. This is possible because of the rapid development of information technology that allows students to get information faster from the teacher. Fun learning is a fun teaching-learning atmosphere so that students focus their full attention on learning so that the time to focus their attention is high. The high time to focus attention has been shown to improve learning outcomes. An active and pleasant state is not enough if the learning process is ineffective, that is, it does not produce what students have to master after the learning process takes place, because learning has a number of learning objectives that are achieved. Therefore, it is significant for teachers to understand the important of applying joyfull learning in their daily teaching and learning process more importantly during the pandemic COVID-19 as students are bombarding with a full pack of assignments and also materials that lead to the learning during the pandemic can not be seen as a joyful learning anymore. Thus, the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology are presence to provide a comprehensive understanding of joyful learning, how the concept is constructed and also the practice of joyful learning starting from the preparation of lesson plans (RPP) to simulating joyful learning models in the form of PPM event for teachers in Gantiwarno, Klaten.Keywords: Joyful learning, teachers, lesson plans.

Mathematics lessons at the elementary level in the opinion of most students are still considered difficult because of the large number of calculation formulas that must be learned and use logic in analyzing and completing calculations. The learning model currently applied is the lecture learning model by means of one-way communication where the educator is active while the students only function their senses of sight and hearing. The conventional learning model mentioned above is considered to be less exploring students' knowledge insights during the teaching and learning process. If the student's concentration is less than optimal, then the student will have difficulty accepting the material being taught at that time, especially mathematics lessons with material two-dimentional figure and geometry, considering that the material must be systematic and requires a lot of practice questions to deepen mathematical concepts and problems. Therefore, mathematics is not enough to just be studied in class. Students must learn independently outside the classroom. So that we need a media that can help students in learning outside the classroom. With the current development of information technology, especially in terms of internet use, it has an impact on changes in learning system patterns, This change in the pattern of the learning system makes the learning process more creative because learning resources are not only carried out from inside the classroom but can be done outside the classroom and discussed in the classroom together. This is the impact of the rapid development of internet technology. Therefore, the author aims to create a mathematics learning media with material two-dimentional figure and geometry web-based for elementary schools.

The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the learning process of English for business through e-learning. The research was a qualitative research with an ethnography method conducted in Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta in 2012. The data were collected through observation, interview, document study, and recording. The focus of this research is learning business English by e-learning with sub-focus the process of learning English for business through e-learning. The results obtained from this study are based on the focus of the study: the process of learning English through e-learning. English language learning via e-learning in Binus online uses e-learning system that is asynchronous, which means do not coincide. Both lecturers and students access not at the same time; lodging Binus Online, timing set, so that everything goes according to schedule. The process of teaching and learning through e-learning course is different from the conventional classroom. This process requires both lecturers and students to play an active role and really should take the time for it. Based on the findings of research on learning English for business through e-learning at Binus Online, it can be concluded that the learning process goes well and effective in improving student competence and achievement. The learning process is also a result of good support for students and faculty as well as the adequate support given means of learning English for business done through e-learning at Binus Online. In addition, learning through e-learning has a direct impact with the emergence of spirit of the students to always work hard, on time, independent, and active.

Pandemic due to the deadly virus Covid-19 has put the entire world in complete lock-down, that too, for months together. India has locked-down the entire country for more than two months. Schools, Colleges and Universities were to be closed immediately putting everything in halt. Classes were abruptly suspended and examinations were to be postponed indefinitely. Education at all levels got affected hugely. Higher education institutes (HEIs) of India that are embedded with technology blend teaching-learning system, used electronic mode for teaching and learning, i.e., e-learning, immediately after the announcement of first phase of lock-down. Following the trend, some of the primary Schools of the country also adopted the virtual platform for teaching-learning. On this backdrop, it is necessary to unfold whether the stakeholders of primary education are ready for virtual platform of teaching-learning. Thus, the objective of this paper is to establish on the basis of personal interviews among 50 parents of primary School students and 30 primary School teachers.

Abstrac The student learning model during the COVID 19 pandemic must be done virtually, a model of distance learning between teachers and students.  Among them only utilize the network and also learning media such as E-learning and also WA Group. With the various obstacles experienced by teachers when going to do the teaching and learning system, it certainly spurs teachers to be creative in the teaching and learning process. On the other hand, the student's response to the material delivered by the teacher in online learning, becomes a challenge for teachers when there are obstacles in the teaching and learning process of students at MTsN 3 Pamekasan. This study uses qualitative approach with descriptive type. Sources of data obtained through interviews, observations, documentation and information obtained from teachers and students. While checking the validity of data is done through the extension of participation, perseverance of observation and triangulation. The results showed that the creativity of IPS teachers in running the Self-Learning Work Unit system, students are also directed to know more about COVID 19 by researching the environment and making a map of the distribution and prevention methods. Last asked to make a simple report in the form of mind mapp or learning model through youtube. The response of students in online learning will be in the same direction as the teacher's response, if the teacher's response is good it will increase the student's learning spirit. Furthermore, there are factors inhibiting teacher creativity in online learning, namely: networks, devices and knowledge of students. In addition, the supporting factor is the willingness of teachers to stay aware and learn about the learning media used as material for achieving effective and efficient learning. Keywords: teacher creativity, e-learning, learning media             Abstrak Model pembelajaran siswa dimasa pandemi COVID 19 harus harus dilakukan secara virtual, model pembelajaran jarak jauh antara guru dan siswa.  Diantara mereka hanya memanfaatkan jaringan dan juga media pembelajaran seperti E-learning dan juga WA Group. Dengan berbagai kendala yang dialami guru ketika akan melakukan sistem belajar mengajar, tentu memacu guru untuk kreatif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Disisi lain respon siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan guru dalam pembelajaran daring, menjadi tantangan bagi guru ketika terdapat hambatan-hambatan dalam proses belajar mengajar siswa di MTsN 3 Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Sumber data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan informasi yang diperoleh dari guru dan siswa. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kreativitas guru IPS dalam menjalankan sistem Unit Kerja Belajar Mandiri, peserta didik juga diarahkan untuk lebih mengetahui tentang COVID 19 dengan meneliti lingkungan dan membuat peta persebaran serta cara pencegahanya. Terakhir diminta membuat laporan sederhana berupa mind mapp atau model pembelajaran melalui youtube. Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran daring akan berbanding searah dengan respon guru, jika respon guru baik maka akan meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa. Selanjutnya ada faktor penghambat kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran daring yaitu: jaringan, perangkat dan pengetahuan siswa. Selain itu, faktor pendukung yaitu adanya kemauan dari guru untuk tetap mengetahui dan belajar terhadap media pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai bahan tercapainya pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien.
