This study is an investigation of the educational games used in Yemeni high school classes. The main objective is to find out the extent to which Yemeni teachers are aware of the utility described in the theoretical part and whether they make use of EFL games in their classes while teaching English. Equally, this study tries to probe into some of the Yemeni EFL learners’ viewpoints towards using EFL games in the learning process-besides shedding light on the types of games they generally prefer. The approach I used was purely quantitative in nature, but I also relied on the qualitative approach. Twenty teachers and one hundred high school students were given a questionnaire about using games in English teaching and learning. The results were analyzed and show that games can be a unique opportunity for teachers to teach meaningfully and communicatively English in real-life contexts as well as the learners encourage and increase cooperation and collaboration among them and acquire the vocabulary easily. Using English teaching EFL games, in my opinion, can mitigate such difficulties facing Yemeni teachers in teaching English. Carefully choosing the right games can help a great deal in encouraging students to learn avidly. Furthermore, good EFL games have a great role to play in creating a stress-free learning atmosphere, and at the same time make it possible for students to practice the desired language skills. The key significance is that games are not mere time-fillers; rather, this study tries to guide and help teachers see when to use games, how to choose games that cater to students’ needs and interests. Based on these results, some practical recommendations were formulated in order to enhance Yemeni EFL teaching and learning through using games.

Literature is not generally considered as a coherent branch of the curriculum in relation to language – development in either mother tongue or foreign language – teaching. As teachers of English in Multi cultural Indian class rooms we come across students with varying degree of competence in English language learning. Though, language learning is a natural process for natives but the Students of other languages put in colossal efforts to learn it. Despite their sincere efforts they face challenges regarding Pronunciation, Spelling and Vocabulary. The Indian class rooms are a microcosm of the larger society, so teaching English language in a manner which equips the students to face the cut-throat competition has become a necessity and a challenge for English language Teachers. English today has become the key determinant for getting success in their career. The hackneyed and stereotypical methods of teaching are not acceptable now. Teachers have no longer remained arbitrary dispensers of knowledge but they are playing the role of a guide and facilitator for the students. Teachers of English are using innovative ideas to make English language teaching and learning interesting and simple. Teachers have started using the literary texts and their analysis to explore and ignite the imagination and creative skills of the students. One needs to think and rethink the contribution of literature to intelligent thinking as well as its role in the process of teaching – learning. My paper would, therefore, be an attempt at exploring the nature of the literary experience in the present day class rooms; and the broader role of literature in life.

The use of various audio-visual technologies in the teaching and learning process is very important. However, one of the most important teacher skills and knowledge is familiarity with this technology in English. The purpose of this study was to analyze the instructive innovation in the form of utilizing PC assets in learning English. The current investigation was led using enlightenment strategies accumulated by library procedures, which were collected taking into account educational innovations, related issues, articles, and books which have been referenced in the references. The results of this study show that encouraging guides as interfaces have options to do their job well. It would be better if the instructor had basic skills to use this device. Due to the problems of our nation's learning system in displaying English and the lack of trained students' skills, especially in speaking, listening, and writing, many guardians are trying to make up for this deficiency in the learning system by turning to state-of-the-art schools. Therefore, in this article, we have chosen to analyze the task of encouraging progress of assistance in promoting the teaching of English in the homeroom. So, it can be concluded that the use of PC resources, as well as e-learning, can help teachers in the classroom and remember that it enhances training ideas and makes students excited to learn.
