The current paper features some results of an empirical study of interpersonal relations among members of pedagogical process exhibiting various «crisis profiles». It is shown that those with a variable «crisis profile» reveal differences in the relations according to harmony – disharmony. It has been empirically proven that crisis experience has a significant impact on the components of the socio-psychological distance between various participants of pedagogical process. The research has revealed that crisis experience in interpersonal relations has general and distinctive features in various systems of relations, i.e. "teacher – teacher", "teacher – administration", "teacher – student", "teacher –parents". "Teacher – administration" relations are especially sensitive to the destructive crisis experience. On the contrary, "teacher – children" relations remain harmonious and based on mutual understanding and emotional intimacy. The results can be used in psychological follow-up of pedagogical process aimed at prevention and overcoming of destructive crisis experience in the interpersonal relations among pedagogical process members.

During the academic year 2014-2015, an investigation was conducted in an innovative school in Barcelona where a teacher used personal diaries written by its students during their Catalan lessons in 2nd high school. The objective of this activity was to use this tool to work with and from the students’ emotions, and create a communication channel to enhance closeness in the student-teacher relationship that would also benefit their Catalan language learning process. The second stage of the study includes four participants: three students and one teacher. The objectives are: (a) to do a follow-up on the agents who were involved in the creation of personal diaries and (b) to see what this type of activity made them feel in terms of communication and relationship between teacher-student. The method that has guided this work is biographical narrative and some of the conclusions are that the use of narrative newspapers could be a useful tool in improving teaching and even learning itself because it helps establish links between teacher-student and because it allows expressing the experiences using language first hand.

The construction of transfer in relations is given a central place in the theoretical foundations of the psychodynamic approach. The uniqueness of transference, noted by Freud in 1912, is actively investigated in modern psychoanalysis and is considered not only within the framework of psychotherapeutic practice, but also woven into the problems of professional and personal relationships. The most complex and less studied, for the assessment of portable relationships, is the mental reality of the learning process, which includes the dynamics of individual moments of interaction of its participants and is based on the experience of previous relationships. This determined the idea of the study, which includes the study of the connection of the recreated past social experience of students in current relations with participants in the educational process. The purpose of the study was to study the features of the manifestation of transfer in students in the relationship “teacher-student” and “student-student”. The empirical study was conducted in 2020-2021, and, which preceded it, the analysis of scientific articles on the information platform made it possible to determine the directions of modern studies of transfer and highlight the most relevant indicators of its manifestation in the educational space of the university. Indicators of student relations are collected using the methodology “Questionnaire of interpersonal relations” by V. Schutz and evaluated in the relationship “student-teacher”, “student-student”. To study the manifestation of transfer in students within the framework of their relations in the space of the educational process, an author's questionnaire was developed, based on the provisions of the questionnaire of L. Luborski's helping relations. The results of empirical research in the form of correlation analysis of manifestations of transfer and indicators of relations within the framework of the student-teacher and student-student relations are presented. The results showed that in relations with classmates, the manifestation of transfer has a more rigid structure and this is expressed in a more active manifestation of transference, and in relations with the teacher, students are more prone to show autonomy, maintain control and are less focused on his social status.

One of the tools to determine the recommended order of the courses to be taught is to set the prerequisites, that is, the conditions that have to be fulfilled before commencing the study of the course. The recommended sequence of courses is to follow logical links between their logical units, as the basic aim is to provide students with a coherent system according to the Comenius' principle of continuity. Declared continuity may, on the other hand, create organizational complications when passing through the study, as failure to complete one course may result in a whole sequence of forced deviations from the recommended curriculum and ultimately in the extension of the study period. This empirical study deals with the quantitative evaluation of the influence of the level of initial knowledge given by the previous study on the overall results in a certain follow-up course. In this evaluation, data were obtained that may slightly change the approach to determining prerequisites for higher education courses.

This follow-up study examined how marital intimacy changes over time in bereaved couples and how their marriages are affected by the death of their infant. A group of thirty-one bereaved couples who two to four years earlier had lost an infant (> 20 weeks gestation and < 1 year of age) were revisited in their home twenty-four months after the initial home visit. Couples did report a significant drop in sexual intimacy at follow-up compared to before the loss and at the initial home visit. Moreover, wives reported less emotional intimacy overall, than did their husbands. In contrast to wives whose own initial grief responses predicted their feelings about their marriages two years later, intensity of husband's initial grief response did not affect their relationship with their wives but, rather a more powerful predictor was their wives' initial reactions, the early state of their marriage (whether they had considered separating), and whether or not they had warning of the impending death. Finally, there is some evidence that women are affected in part, by their husbands' grief.

The region of Punjab and Chandigarh does not show the type of differences in consumer behaviour that are normally expected in a rural urban market comparison in India. In fact, the rural market shows more similarities than differences with the urban market. Many of these similarities are in those aspects about which earlier writers had found great differences, e.g. frequency of purchase, type of distribution outlet patronised, brand loyalty, exposure to advertisements, to name but a few. No stark differences in consumer behaviour were found on comparing the rural market with the urban market. The distinctive features of this region, including its prosperity and well connectedness may be responsible for these findings. The findings of this study have a bearing on the marketing strategy that should be designed for geographic region.

Given the vast research on the existence of distinctive student-teacher expectations about their roles in the classroom and their significance in shaping prospective actions, there is a scarcity of studies that examine Arab student expectations and contrast them with their teachers’ expectancies. Realizing this research gap, this study aims to analyze Gulf Arab, Non-Gulf Arab and English Faculty expectations about their roles in English studies. The objectives of the study were to answer four research questions: Do student-faculty expectations about their classroom roles correspond on nine given items; where do the differentiations lie; what are the classroom implications of these dissimilarities; and how teachers and students can share and meet each other’s expectations. Using a mixed methods research design, quantitative data were collected from students and faculty through an online bilingual survey followed by individual interviews for further exploration. The data analysis revealed that mismatches exist in teacher-student expectations and these dissimilar beliefs can influence student-teacher relationship. Five out of nine given items were found statistically significant between English faculty and Gulf and Non-Gulf Arab students where students had higher expectations about their responsibilities; however, Gulf Arab and Non-Gulf Arab student expectations differed only on three items. In addition to other practical suggestions for sharing and aligning divergent expectations, the study proposes employing a teacher-student learning contract to augment student and faculty cognizance of their academic and social obligations as well as assist the school administration in catering for their perspectives.

This paper intends to demonstrate the relationships between the management control system (MCS) as a package elements with organizational performance. Many studies conducted and investigated the impact of the management control system (levers of control) and organizational performance and ignore the elements of MCS as a package. Pakistan textile industry faces a lot of issues regarding MCS as packages elements and due to these issue organizational performance reduced. Therefore, current study portray a framework that consists of some vital elements of control adopted from Malmi and Brown (2008) MCS as a package like planning control, cybernetic controls, rewards and compensation controls, administrative controls, and cultural controls which if empirically investigated would demonstrate the extent of by in Pakistan textile industry and how these controls generate better organizational performance. This suggests that the need for more explanation of Pakistani textile industry managers on the need to adopt better MCS practices as these practices lead to better organizational performance. Although the current paper is conceptual in nature thus, needs an empirical study to address in the light of resource-based view theory.

The article is devoted to the significance of the irrational in education processes and to the role of teacher as an actor of psychological influence on the formation of child’s personality. Unfortunately, teacher education programs at universities do not properly introduce to the students all the aspects (including unconscious ones) of the interaction between people, in particular in the “teacher – student” system. At the same time, in the pedagogical literature there are no special works related to this issue. Psychological theories and methods of education, which are designed to form and develop a personality, can simply destroy the necessary qualities in a child that lead to his independence and self-affirmation. Teachers who are incompetent in pedagogical issues often defend themselves by appealing to the well-known names of scientists and their theories. The theories should not become a dogma and a main path in education. They should serve as an auxiliary instrument. The theory of education is obliged to revise the content and form of the organization of educational process in accordance with the understanding and sense of the rhythm of the New World, taking into account the integration of educational concepts that provide a balance of the rational and irrational in the cognitive activity of a student. This balance is necessary for the full and comprehensive development of child’s personality, for the formation of his/her identity. The author of the article believes that under the conditions of large-scale simulacrization, virtualization, digitalization of the educational space, it is necessary to strengthen the emotional component of the educational process to avoid the final elimination of the aura (W. Benjamin) of the class area from the sphere of human relations in the “teacher – student – teacher” system.

With an emphasis on self-study and the connections between the personal and the professional domain, the authors reflect upon their teaching practice on a postgraduate theatre-based course using the research methodology of a/r/tography. The aim was to develop understanding of teacher/student roles and how these can affect learning. Through researcher reflexivity, focus groups and questionnaires, data were captured from students/participants responding to a video of the researcher’s solo performance work. The research presents itself through three a/r/tographic renderings. First, the experience of seeing tutors in unfamiliar roles is considered. Second, the impact of witnessing tutors taking risks as a performer and being vulnerable is discussed and, lastly, the work illuminates new ways of opening up as teachers. The authors explore how the student’s/participant’s perception of them as tutors seemed to change after witnessing them as artists and how this impacted upon student’s learning for their own assessed performance pieces.

The chapter will offer a literature review of principal themes to be found in contemporary and earlier sources concerned with distinctive features of Islamic education. It will be found that, among a number of themes, those concerned with the teacher-student relationship and the holistic balance between intellectual and spiritual/moral ends stand out as dominant. Explicit in much contemporary literature and implicit in some earlier sources lies a critique of Western education as more instrumental and so narrower regarding these two features. The chapter will conclude with a summary of the distinctive contribution that Islamic education can make to a Western education contemporaneously in search of a renewed holism and fortified moral component.
