The study made an attempt to approach the problem of identity threats from the perspective of modern security psychology, which studies psychological attitude to personal security as a systemic phenomenon. Threats to one’s personal security in the subject's view were analyzed in terms of threats to one’s identity. The representative sample (n=50, age=22) underwent a correlation analysis to identify the relationships between the assessments of individual threats to personal security and elements of identity, i.e. subjective evaluations of positive and negative personal qualities. Negative elements of identity appeared to be the most vulnerable, e.g. "depressed". The same was true for positive elements that are more dependent on external conditions and assessments, e.g. "happy", "generous", etc. As for self-reliant and assessments, e.g. "hardworking", "disciplined", they proved more secured. The subject’s perceptions of oneself and one’s security threats were in complex mutual determinations. Threats to personal security became threats to identity if implementation of these threats led to a deterioration in the subject's self-image.

The article analyzes psychological peculiarities of the image of the world and personal manifestations of the character of students with different forms of behaviour disorders. The types of image of the world and the personal traits of the character are analyzed. The peculiarities of the worldview of schoolchildren with aggression, autoaggression, overpriced hobbies, and emotional disorders are revealed. The influence of the image of the world on defects of the self-image and behaviour disturbance is established. The influence of a negative emotional background of the image of the world on the formation of dependent forms of behaviour is determined. It has been proven that the psychological correction of students with adaptation problems should include programs to stimulate a positive experience of the world and to restore an internal equilibrium. The directions of further exploration of the problems of psychology of addictive behaviours are outlined.During puberty, significant behavioral abnormalities may occur in children. With timely psychological and pedagogical intervention, destructive manifestations are situational or episodic. If parents and pedagogues do not resort to psychological correction, negative models of interaction between the teenager and the world become unlikely to overturn, and the troublesome behaviour becomes irreversible. The results of the study of the image of the world and the personal traits of students with different behavioral abnormalities are presented in this article. For example, it has been found that the adolescents’ use of profanity in communication with peers is caused solely by mechanisms of imitation and identification of the image of the world inherent in their family or social environment. In other words, there is a negative stimulation of the development of the image of the world of the child, the outward manifestation of aggressive behaviour. This, in turn, testifies to emotional-volitional instability and accentuation of character. Thus, the teenager demonstrates his/her “adulthood”.The article analyzes the causes of different types of addictive behaviour of young people: tobacco, gaming, computer, and more.Psychological correction in such cases should be aimed at establishing a dynamic equilibrium of the system “Image of the world – image of I”. That is, the child’s consciousness tries to adapt to the external conditions of being in a certain space, and this affects his/her behaviour. Under these conditions, responses may differ from generally accepted social norms.Stimulating self-development of the person and helping the teenager to form a realistic, content-rich worldview will positively affect the development of personal reflection and rethinking of one’s self-image.

The issue of studying the valuable attitude to themselves and others associates with the high generality and low operationalization of this construct. We examined 13 operational parameters that reveal the multi-dimensional content of this concept and use correlation analysis to examine interconnections in the structure of the teachers personal qualities. Study sample: 259 female teachers from urban and rural areas. Methods: the Russian version of the CPI and the author's graphical method of studying the valuable attitude to themselves and others. We found 17 valid and reliable (from p≤0,05 to p≤0,001) connections. The "core" of valuable attitude to themselves and others in the structure of the teacher personality includes such parameters as "a tendency to appreciate others "above average" and "ability to assess softly "non-ideal" others". These parameters are most closely associated with "tolerance", "sense of wellbeing", "intellectual efficiency", "achievement through independence." The results are useful for the development of the construct of «valuable attitude», refinement the model of teacher personal competence, and for the psychological support for teachers.

In the course of life's experiences mistrust develops in childhood and adulthood. Clinical manifestations of mistrustfulness in patients are discussed. Successful psychotherapy has as one of its principal goals the re-establishment of trust within the patient. This takes place through the development of trust toward the therapist. This experience serves as a bridge to the re-establishment of trust in others. Those personal qualities in the therapist which are of the greatest importance in this area are reliability and realistic hopefulness. Being taken seriously and the opportunity to attach to the therapist are also very significant. The place of the therapist's interventions as well as the relevant significant qualities in the patient are also discussed. Trust breeds trust, connection with others and, thence personal security. This is a basic goal of psychotherapy.

The article states that goal-setting is an integral formation, the meaning of life, on the way of self-realization, by means of which a person regulates and organizes his own life. It is demonstrated that in the structure of the ability to goal-setting there are the following components: intellectual, personal, activity. The personal (individual-personal qualities, value system) and activity (volitional qualities) components in women at different stages of self-realization have been studied and compared. It is established that students who are at the stage of self-understanding and self-perception are not capable of responsible goal setting because they have an ideal self-image, overestimated self-esteem, underdeveloped reflection and reduced efficiency of adaptation, conflict of values (universalism - achievement, security - independence, independence - comfort), a pessimistic view of future-oriented events without developed volitional qualities. It was found that female students have certain goals, but are not always able to present a more or less clear picture of the desired future, so the ultimate goal may not be justified and is unstable. It is shown that women at the stage of selfrealization live in the present, have a real idea of themselves, they lack full self-satisfaction, which with a strong self-esteem and generally positive assessment of their personality encourages respondents to further self-improvement. It has been shown that women use volitional qualities when achieving goals, have a conflict of values (stimulation - security), which is characteristic of mature adaptive individuals, with a certain level of dignity and flexibility.

Peace, safety, and security are the primary conditions for successful tourism development and security threats such as terrorism, crime or potential war conflicts can strongly affect tourism. Of these threats, crime is the most widespread. Certain types of crime are seasonal and some criminal offences are more often committed at a particular time of the year, week or day. The aim of this paper is to determine whether there is a connection between the seasonality of crime and tourism in Croatia. In order to achieve this aim, the correlation analysis was applied on monthly data from 2007 to 2018, using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient to measure the strength of the relationship between crime and tourism. The analysis covered reported criminal offences that may be related to tourism. The conducted analysis found a statistically significant correlation between the tourist arrivals and stays and almost all types of reported criminal offences, and this correlation was stronger for property crimes and weaker for violent crimes. The obtained results can help law enforcement agencies to allocate police officers in specific periods of time and thus to provide adequate resources to respond to crime, such as additional police officers during the summer or other seasons.

The present research featured the relationship between assumptions about self-worth as a characteristic of identity and the attitude to threats as part of general attitude to personal security. The study was based on R. Janoff-Bulman’s theory of basic assumptions and related methodology. Attitudes to personal security were assessed according to an authentic methodology as scores given to various threats. Assumptions of self-worth appeared to determine the values of threats in certain combinations with assumptions about the environment. For instance, respondents with high anxiety expressed a world-is-badbut-I-am-good kind of attitude, while those with lower anxiety possessed a world-is-bad-but-I-am-lucky attitude. However, identity as the relationship between ideas about one’s self and the environment needs further research. In addition, studies on identity as the key source of personal security attitudes is a promising research topic.
