THE ASPECTS OF EFFICIENT DYNAMIC CONFIGURATIONS IN ARCHITECTURE

The elements and means affecting the formulation and structure of the architectural buildings have been greatly developed by man throughout different ages according to the development of technology, so the dimensions and specifications of configuring dynamic buildings can be designed and controlled in order to leave the required effects on the environment and the user to serve certain purpose or function. But it seems that the process of formulating any architectural vocabulary acting on the dynamic aspect goes beyond the boundaries of the perceived dimensions and the included unperceived one; as the first dimensions may be considered namely the aesthetic aspect in architectural work, while the included unperceived dimensions may display efficiency in work which is greatly influenced by the personality and the formative attitudes of the architect, the site style and the surrounded environment, as well as the economic efficiency of the building. However, the liability issue seems to be the absence of the criterion of forming efficient dynamic configurations in architecture. Accordingly this research aims to reach this criterion as identifying the architectural attitudes; as a decisive in shaping the building as its facades, envelopes, sections or plans. Additionally, it attempts to explain the reciprocal relation between the architectural vocabulary (perceived aspects of configuration) and the unperceived one which is distinguishing the valuable architectural works. The research will attempt to analyze the elements included and the aesthetic and formative considerations while configuring the dynamic building to determine the important role played by such formation in reaching the psychological and physiological effect on the user in turn to maximize its utilization of such architectural work.

Abstract The sewage sludge is a low-cost material and sustainable alternative to substitute chemical fertilizers on ornamental lawns and gardens. Thus, the objective was to evaluate the effects of the application of sewage sludge on the regrowth and ornamental traits of DiscoveryTM bermudagrass. The experiment was carried out during the fall/winter of 2019. The turf was removed and left the soil exposed for a new grass regrowth. The treatments applied were 0, 357, 714, 1,071 and 1,428 g m-2 sewage sludge spread evenly on the lawn in a single dose. The evaluations were carried out after 120 days and the soil solution (EC and NO3 -), Normalized difference vegetation index, root length, root + rhizome + stolon + leaves volume and digital image analysis were evaluated. The results showed that the increase of sewage sludge positively influenced the turfgrass development, both in the aesthetic aspect and on bermudagrass regrowth. The soil solution can show that the sludge increased the electrical conductivity and NO3- ions; however, it did not hinder the development of the lawn, even having positive correlations between these variables and the biometric evaluations of the plant. It is concluded that the dose of 1,428 g m-2 presented the best results for the evaluated characteristics, being the recommended one for use in the fertilization of bermudagrass DiscoveryTM.

The use of dental implants in dentistry is becoming increasingly widespread and popular for the treatment of patients with doomed dental elements. The biotechnology applied to the development of macro and micro design of implants allows its use in increasingly borderline beds, such as in post-extraction sockets with reduced bone remainder, and may even allow the making of provisionals in order to confer aesthetics and help in maintenance of support tissues. This paper aims to present a clinical case report of minimally invasive extraction of a maxillary central incisor with root fracture, immediate implantation in a post-extraction socket, subepithelial connective tissue graft and lyophilized bovine bone to fill the GAP, as a pillar installation. angled and immediate provisional. The technique proved to be effective and satisfactory, I try in the aesthetic aspect as to the functional, promoting the health and stability of the adjacent tissues.

AbstractThere are two approaches that dominate contemporary opera performances. The first may be characterised as producing a subtle, aesthetic and stylistic means of expression. The second runs up visual, interpretation and content means to their maximum expressivity and the audience is exposed to violence, sex and experience disgust. This paper analyses specific productions by renowned European theatre and opera directors, in order to shed light on the way in which opera directors cope with the threat of terrorism, sexual violence, and the impact of the mass media upon the moral belief system of modern man. Within the context of the bold productions of European theatre-makers Slovak opera theatre seems conservative, gravitating towards the aesthetic aspect of opera.

Next, we analyze the important roles of aesthetic education to help cultivate the healthy personality. Abstract Research on the effect of design has tended to emphasize the aesthetic dimension of product form and its global, spontaneous, and even unconscious influence on overall product evaluation. But apart from the aesthetic aspect of design, product form has additional effects on consumer perception. When a product’s design suggests a particular level of functional performance, it can alter consumer judgment, even in the presence of ostensibly more objective written information. This finding does not only apply to a product’s overall impression, but also to how consumers evaluate individual product features. For a target feature, the presence of pictures altered the relative functional performance ratings in favor of the presented designs, but for non-target features the presenceof the picture had no effect. Hence, product form can communicate functional performance independently of global attractiveness. These insights have important implications for design creation and communication as well as for consumers. They highlight yet again the importance of close cooperation between product development, marketing and design.

Study related to characteristics of costumes worn in Children Creation Dance in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali is aiming at (1) understanding the characteristics of children creation dance costume in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali, (2) understanding the aesthetic characteristic of costume of children creation dance in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali. The research employed qualitative method while the discussion part was presented in descriptive. Data was collected through observation, interview, literature, as well as documentation study. In a general view, characteristic of the costume was still in close proximity to the tradition but some others characteristics have quiet different to the tradition. Aesthetic aspect in dance costume that has adjacency to the tradition is shown in patterned costume, especially the use of kamen prada. The use of colour tends to be bright and cold which may show the atmosphere of happiness and assurance. On the other hand, the characteristics of costume is not traditional tends to emphasize dots and stripes. The impression of dots is shown in the use of sequin while the stripe impession is shown in fabric colour boundaries. In addition, the colours chosen for this type of costume are considerably similar to the colour chosen in traditional costume of creation dance which are bright and cold and give the impression of happiness and assurance.

The aesthetic aspect of product packaging is a well-known factor in attracting consumers’ attention. One of the most common ways in achieving the aesthetic appearance of the packaging is applying graphic design principles. The purpose of the study was to explore how people perceive the attractiveness of tea packaging with different levels of graphic design principles applied. The graphic design principles applied on the packaging were: contrast, dominance, alignment, symmetry, consistency and colour harmony. The manipulation of these principles resulted in three different packaging samples that were tested: aesthetic packaging, partially-aesthetic packaging and non-aesthetic packaging. The participants’ tasks were to rate the attractiveness of each of the packaging samples and to select the one which they would like to buy. The statistical analysis showed that the results of both tests (rating and choice task) were consistent, indicating that the aesthetic packaging was appreciated the most, followed by the partially-aesthetic packaging and the non-aesthetic packaging. These results were the same even when taking into account whether the beauty of the packaging was important to the participants or not. The findings support the idea of using graphic design principles in packaging design whenever applicable.

The design of zero-energy buildings can be depending on the effective integration of solar energy systems with building envelopes, where these systems save heat and electricity as well as enhance the aesthetic aspect of the facades. In this paper, the aspects related to the effective integration of buildings with solar energy systems (solar cells and collectors) will be discussed, as well as enhancing the aesthetic aspect of the facades, and since solar energy systems are visible to everyone, their design must adapt to the building structure and the surrounding environment. Solar energy system designers, architects, physicists and other contributors to building energy envelopes must consider the comprehensive concept of it, where buildings are part of the human and social environment and in close relationship with the natural environment, through the use of thin films technology through the design of multi-layers colored optical coatings covering solar panels for building facades. Accordingly, the energy sector should be seen as an area of aesthetic creativity. Two dielectric materials were used, the first is ThF4 with a high refractive index (1.5143) and the second is LiF with a low refractive index (1.393) and for several odd layers, starting from 3 layers and up to 21 layers and for a thicknesses of a quarter wavelength. The design Air/L/H/Glass was applied by the Mat Lab program for the seven colors of the spectrum, So, the aim of this research is determined in designing colored optical coatings for solar systems that enhance the aesthetic aspect of building facades, as well as generating thermal and electrical energy needed to operate the buildings and to find out which color has the best visible reflectivity and solar transmittance better than the rest of the spectrum, all the results exhibit that yellow color has the higher visible reflectivity and higher merit factor, so it is consider the most efficient color for coloring the solar systems than the rest of colors spectrum.

Osteochondroma manifests as a benign tumor that occurs as an abnormal bony development. This tumor is commonly asymptomatic and presents an exophytic outgrowth on bone surfaces, near synovial joints, a condition that invariably induces evident facial deformities. Treatment for this type of tumor usually involves a surgical approach promoting a total or partial resection of the affected anatomical area associated to prosthetic reconstruction of the bone area extracted. We present a case report about a giant mandibular condyle osteochondroma in a 37-year-old female patient. Her treatment involved a total condylectomy without immediate condylar reconstruction, which would be performed in a posterior surgical approach. During the patient’s follow-up (every 6 months of post operation), a spontaneous and rudimentary condyle-like formation was observed. Because the stomatognathic function and facial harmony were satisfactory, we observed the condyle-like development for 5 years of follow-up. Also, because both the aesthetic aspect and functional evolution of the maxillary bone were considered satisfactory, no complementary reconstruction surgical treatment was required for the giant osteochondroma of the mandibular condyle.
