In the current moments in which the world population lives related to the COVID-19 pandemic, a pandemic that has affected all countries worldwide, can only be contained based on the strategies taken by the entire population where hospitals play a fundamental role in mitigation and community transmission. The Jipijapa Basic Hospital is a health institution that has cared for patients infected with this disease. The objective of this research is to find out if the Environmental Risk Management system is complied with in the hospital center, fundamentally-oriented towards compliance with the regulations that regulate the management of sanitary waste in health establishments, in such a way that contamination to personnel is not produced. that works on the site, thereby allowing better environmental conditions to be achieved, mitigating the disease and its transmission mechanisms. For the study, a diagnosis was made on the initial management of sanitary waste, generated in health establishments by the care of COVID-19 patients, in addition to the observation and application of surveys to administrative personnel of the hospital. It was obtained as a result that the workers know and comply with the regulations for the collection of hazardous solid waste within the hospital.

Recently, the incidence of civilian aircraft crashes has increased. These disasters lead to many casualties. Around the world, safetyis apriority in regulating air transport. But flight safety is closely related to pilotfatigue. In this regard, the pilot load standards must be clearly verified. The aim of the article is to analyze the possibility of increasing the sanitary norms of the flight load and at the same timereducing the annual leave for the crew members of civil aviation personnel inRussia. The methods used are both empirical (analysis andsynthesis, induction and deduction, systematization), and theoretical. Each airline must develop an effective risk management system based on thosedeveloped abroad. This system should include control over the rest of the pilots, ensure uninterrupted vacation for at least three weeks, take into account the qualityof the inter-shift rest of the pilots, fly in unusual situations.

Acoustic monitoring has played a major role in the management of one of the world's largest civil engineering projects. After experiencing failures on their pipeline between 1999 and 2001, the Great Man-Made River Authority (GMRA) undertook an aggressive condition assessment program. This program led to the development of a comprehensive Pipeline Risk Management System (PRMS), making the Great Man-Made River Project one of the best managed pipelines in the world. The planned expansion of the existing acoustic monitoring system, a key component of the PRMS, will allow for monitoring of over 700km of pipeline. This paper will discuss steps taken to-date, the acoustic monitoring technology and the expansion of this key component to the management strategy for the pipeline.

Risks are an integral part of any company. Not all types of risk can be identified, not all risk mitigation measures are cost-effective. Risk and the cost of avoiding it in aviation require rational decision-making mechanisms. There are many different risks in any airline as an aircraft operator, carrier and business entity. One of the main tasks of airlines is to minimize them. The article examines the risks that arise in the process of airlines and analyzes the risk management system in airlines. The impact of the pandemic on the aviation industry of Ukraine has been studied. The aviation industry both in Ukraine and in the world plays an important role, its importance in the world economy is constantly growing. This is facilitated by both technological development and the latest developments in the aviation industry, as well as globalization. However, at the same time, the number of risks is increasing, they are becoming more complex and diverse. Therefore, the task of risk management is relevant. Today, the risk management system of any airline is an urgent need, because the competitiveness and success of the airline is inextricably linked to risks. The activities of modern commercial enterprises, including civil aviation enterprises, are aimed at the formation of sustainable competitiveness and long-term survival. There are hundreds of airlines in the world, including 55 in Ukraine. Today, civil aviation in the world is in crisis. Ukrainian aviation is no exception. The closure of state borders and other measures taken in many countries to combat the spread of the coronavirus have led to a catastrophic reduction in air traffic. As a result, airlines were forced to reduce the frequency or cancel the vast majority of flights. All participants in the aviation market suffer from this situation. The development of a risk management system in the airline should be an integral part of its targeted management. The structure of risks faced by the airline is very complex and diverse. Risk is the residual probability of an event with significant consequences after considering mitigation measures.

The study provides an overview of works related to the formation of theoretical and methodological tools for assessing personnel risks. The absence of a unified theoretical approach to building an integrated HR risk management system in organizations has been substantiated. Methods that have a theoretical and methodological basis for creating organizational and methodological tools for managing personnel risks are considered. Proposals have been developed for the development of tools for analyzing personnel risks, affecting the applied aspects of management in the field of labor, taking into account the specifics of activities that are priority from the point of view of the application and use of knowledge, skills and qualifications of workers. The theoretical and practical features of defining promising directions in the development of the theory of personnel risk management based on the competence-based approach have been determined. Presented are some aspects of activities to identify threats in the management of business entities. The theoretical and methodological features of the representation of personnel risk in personnel management procedures are considered. It is shown that the ongoing changes in the field of personnel management require from the management staff to form new approaches to identifying threats in the world of work.

In the last six decades, one of the most striking developments in international law is the emergence of a massive body of legal norms and procedures aimed at protecting human rights. In many countries, though, there is little relationship between international law and the actual protection of human rights on the ground. This book takes a fresh look at why it's been so hard for international law to have much impact in parts of the world where human rights are most at risk. The book argues that more progress is possible if human rights promoters work strategically with the group of states that have dedicated resources to human rights protection. These human rights “stewards” can focus their resources on places where the tangible benefits to human rights are greatest. Success will require setting priorities as well as engaging local stakeholders such as nongovernmental organizations and national human rights institutions. To date, promoters of international human rights law have relied too heavily on setting universal goals and procedures and not enough on assessing what actually works and setting priorities. This book illustrates how, with a different strategy, human rights stewards can make international law more effective and also safeguard human rights for more of the world population.

Almost 50 per cent of the world population is constituted by the women and they have been making substantial contribution to socio-economic development. But, unfortunately their tremendous contribution remains unrecognized and unnoticed in most of the developing and least developed countries causing the problem of poverty among them. Empowering women has become the key element in the development of an economy. With women moving forward, the family moves, the village moves and the nation moves. Hence, improving the status of women by way of their economic empowerment is highly called for. Entrepreneurship is a key tool for the economic empowerment of women around the world for alleviating poverty. Entrepreneurship is now widely recognized as a tool of economic development in India also. In this paper I have tried to discuss the reasons and role of Women Entrepreneurship with the help of Push and Pull factors. In the last I have also discussed the problems and the road map of Women Entrepreneurs development in India.

Research on the relationship between fertility and gender ideology revealed inconsistent results. In the present study, we argue that inconsistencies may be due to the fact that such relationship may be nonlinear. We hypothesize a U- shaped relationship between two dimensions of gender ideology (i.e. primacy of breadwinner role and acceptance of male privilege) and fertility rates. We conducted a cross-national analysis of 60 countries using data from the World Values Survey as well as the World Population Prospects 2019. Controlling for gross domestic product, we found support for a U-shaped relationship between gender ideology and fertility. Higher levels of fertility rates were found at lower and especially higher levels of traditional gender ideology, while a medium level of gender ideology was associated with the lowest fertility rate. This curvilinear relationship is in agreement with the phase of the gender revolution in which the country is located. Traditional beliefs are linked to a complementary division of private versus public sphere between sexes, while egalitarian attitudes are associated with a more equitable division. Both conditions strengthen fertility. Instead, as in the transition phase, intermediate levels of gender ideology’s support are associated with an overload and a difficult reconciliation of the roles that women have to embody (i.e. working and nurturing) so reducing fertility. The present study has contributed to the literature by addressing the inconsistencies of prior research by demonstrating that the relationship between gender ideology and fertility rates is curvilinear rather than linear.

Introduction. The article emphasizes that the current features of the implementation of foreign economic activity require consideration of two factors that are contradictory to each other. In particular, on the one hand, the growth of external threats is forcing the governments of many countries to tighten control measures when crossing the state border of goods and commercial vehicles. On the other hand, according to international conventions and agreements (Kyoto Convention, WMO Framework Standards for Security, WTO Facilitation Agreement), measures to reduce the interference of regulatory authorities in the operational activities of economic operators are envisaged. In this context, the use of risk-oriented customs control tools, which allow simplifying business without reducing the level of national security, is becoming especially important. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to generalize and systematize foreign and domestic approaches to simplification of customs procedures through the use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control, as well as to develop their own proposals for simplification of foreign trade entities in the domestic regulatory field by using subject-oriented criteria. Results. The authors analyzed the provisions of the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures, the Framework Standards for Security and Facilitation of International Trade, the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation, which are provided for significant simplification of international trade procedures by reducing the share of customs inspections and controls. Сustoms security, customs clearance of goods and vehicles on the territory of the subjects of foreign economic activity or in another place permitted by the customs, without the direct participation of customs officials. These measures are based on the widespread use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control. It is noted that some of the provisions of international conventions and agreements on the use of risk-oriented instruments of customs control and simplification of economic operators have been implemented in domestic customs legislation, namely Art. 320 of the Customs Code of Ukraine introduced selective customs control, it is determined that the forms and scope of control sufficient to ensure compliance with legislation on state customs and international treaties of Ukraine in customs clearance are selected by customs (customs posts) based on the results of risk management. Conclusion. The study analyzes the peculiarities of the customs risk management system application in customs control in Ukraine, and offers proposals for the use of subject-oriented criteria of customs control as a simplification for honest economic operators to reduce the selectivity of risk profiles ASUR.
