Coffee as one of export commodities requires a good management strategy to maintain its continuity while also increasing both quality and quantity, for example by developing more efficient agricultural techniques. The purpose of this study was to reveal the knowledge of farmers in Taba Tebelet Village about a good smallholder coffee plantation management and give priority to coffee plantation management recommendations. A survey was required to collect primary and secondary data. Observation results and structured interviews were considered as primary data and secondary data were supporting data used for qualitative analysis. The technique used for data collection through survey was called snowball technique which was based on the random sample selection method. The focus of recommendations for good smallholder coffee plantation management in Kepahiang Regency was obtained through SWOT analysis, then to determine the priority of those management recommendations using QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) analysis. The SWOT analysis has resulted 4 recommendations of management. They were (1) intensive and organic farming (TAS 1.36); (2) conducting training/counseling on organizational and plantation management (TAS 0.63); (3) legality of coffee quality (TAS 0.22); and (4) public-private partnership related to the procurement of production input for coffee plantations (TAS 0.46). The priority for a coffee plantation management strategy was determined based on the order of TAS value (Total Attractive Score), where the implementation of the highest score should be prioritized in overcoming deficiencies and threats that occur in coffee plantations

This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.

Penulisan tesis mengenai Strategi Pengelolaan bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategiyang digunakan oleh Drumblek Gempar, kemudian menganalisis faktor internal daneksternal serta memformulasikan strategi pengelolaan musik perkusi Drumblek Gempar.Metode penelitian mengenai Strategi Pengelolaan Drumblek Gempar ditentukan oleh empatlangkah yaitu, menentukan lingkup penelitian yang terdiri dari lokasi penelitian, objek penelitian, dan subjek penelitian. Langkah kedua melakukan teknik pengumpulan data yangterdiri dari dua poin yaitu pengumpulan data primer dan pengumpulan data skunder. Ketiga,menentukan variabel yang dilakukan melalui dua faktor yaitu faktor internal (kekuatan dankelemahan) dan faktor eksternal (peluang dan ancaman). Langkah terakhir yaitu melakukananalisis data dan metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan analisis SWOT. Hasilpenelitian pertama berdasarkan matriks IE strategi pengelolaan pada drumblek Gemparmelalui matriks IE menunjukan pada posisi IV yaitu Growth and Build, strategi umum yangdigunakan adalah sebagai daya tarik Kota Salatiga melalui kesenian drumblek. Keduaberdasarkan kuadran analisis SWOT menunjukan kuadran I Expansion, yaitu bahwa situasiyang sangat baik karena ada kekuatan yang dimanfaatkan untuk meraih peluang yangmenguntungkan. Hal tersebut mengarah pada variabel kekuatan poin tertinggi yaitudrumblek Gempar merupakan drumblek tertua yang ada di Salatiga. Lalu pada variabelpeluang poin tertinggi yaitu sebagai daya tarik Kota Salatiga melalui kesenian drumblek. Thesis writing on Management Strategy aims to identify the strategies used by drumblekGempar, then analyze the internal and external factors and formulate a drumblekpercussion management strategy Gempar. The method of research on drumblekmanagement strategy Gempar determined by four steps, namely, determine the scope ofresearch consisting of research sites, research objects, and research subjects. The secondstep performs data collection techniques consisting of two points: primary data collectionand secondary data collection. Third, determine the variables made through two factors:internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats).The last step is to analyze data and the method used is qualitative with SWOT analysis. The first result based on IE matrix management strategy on drumblek Gempar through IE matrix shows in position IV that is Growth and Build, general strategy used is as appeal of Salatiga City through drumblek art.

Lemukutan Island has the potential of coral reefs to be developed into snorkeling and diving destinations. This study aims to (1) Analyze the suitability and carrying capacity of Lemukutan Island Conservation area in the development of snorkeling and diving ecotourism; (2) Formulate a strategy for developing Snorkeling and diving ecotourism in Lemukutan Island. Primary data collection with field observations and structured interviews to 30 respondents on Lemukutan Island. Secondary data is collected by various libraries and related. Based on results of the study, Lemukutan Island's coral reef ecosystem for the purpose of snorkeling and diving tourism was in the appropriate category (S2) with an IKW value of 76.8% and 68.86%. While the Ecological Carrying Capacity of each ± 6,139 people / day and ± 1,008 people / day. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis obtained alternatif strategies (1) Management and utilization of coral reefs optimally by taking into account the sustainability; (2) Increased access to Lemukutan islands, such as speed boats and timely departures; (3) Adding snorkeling and diving equipment, and improving resort services; (4) Arrangement of land and sea space in accordance with its designation so that marine resources can be sustainable; (5) Packaging of unique and environmentally based snorkeling and diving tours; (6) Increasing promotion through digital technology and promotion through tourism events to build partnership networks; (7) Improving skills for the community to open up alternative opportunities for new jobs; (8) Disseminating the importance of protecting coral reefs and making rules for snorkeling and diving tours


This research aims to study and analyze changes in the organization and improve the organization's values in Commercial Banking Center Mandiri Bank Surabaya. The collection of primary data through individual interviews focus group and secondary data from the investigation of corporate documents and observation of existing employees. Analysis using SWOT matrix aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as to improve and redesign the existing activities. Based on the result of this research using SWOT matrix analysis, it produce 20 strategies that can be used as alternative to improve its performance for Mandiri Bank Surabaya.

Ndao Regency is one of the regencies that prioritizes the direction of development for 2019-2024 in the tourism sector. The problem in Rote Ndao District is the absence of asset management that focuses on potential tourism assets. In this study, the formulation of the problem is to place a tourism asset management strategy in Rote Ndao Regency. The purpose of this study is to evaluate, identify and describe the management of regional assets. This study also formulates priority strategies to improve local asset management of the Rote Ndao District Government. The data consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct observation, interviews and questionnaires using purposive sampling method. While secondary data obtained from literature and documents relevant to the research. The analysis in this study uses a SWOT analysis. The results of the study indicate that the weak competence of human resources in asset management is due to the lack of guidance, supervision, lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure and the lack of cooperation involving the private sector and the community to develop tourism potential. The control system affects the performance of regional asset management. The prioritized strategy is to improve the quality of human resources in managing and reporting local government assets.

Institutional and Management Analysis of The Auction Fish Place (AFP) for Improving Fishermen's Welfare in Tegalsari AFP, Tegal City, Central Java” research aimed to find out the institutional system of Auction Fish Place (AFP) and Evaluation Strategy of Auction Fish Place (AFP) Tegalsari based on its institutional function. This research uses survey method which done by observation and interview. The data used are primary data and secondary data which then analyzed descriptively by using SWOT analysis. The result showed that the institutional and management system in Tegalsari AFP has been running well, from the performance of AFP managers and the tender system that runs smoothly in accordance with applicable regulations. The optimal management strategy of Tegalsari AFP is by improving the existing operational system in AFP, one of them is clean water facility and access to capital for local fisherman.

Gebang Fish Landing Base (GebangPPI) was built as a means for fishermen and fisheries businessin Gebang District, Cirebon Regency, in carrying out fisheries economic activities in an effort to improve welfare. This study aims to analyze the condition of the Gebang PPI facilities and the level of utilization by the community, as well as the potential of fisheries capture in Gebang. The next aim is to determine the strategy for managing the Gebang PPI in an effort to improve the fishermen welfare. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Primary data are obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and surveys, while secondary data are obtained from relevant government agencies to analyze the level of the Gebang PPI utilization. Variables are measured using a Likert scale, while SWOT analysis is used to determine the management strategy. The results of the analysis show that the conditions of the Gebang PPI facilities and infrastructures are inadequate for the continuity of fisheries activities, as well as the level of utilization because fishermen prefer to transact outside the PPI. This condition is caused by capital ties between fishermen and intermediary/middlemen. The large potential of fisheries in the Gebang PPI does not guarantee the level of fishermen welfare, because fisheries economic transactions are still determined by intermediary/ middlemen as capital owners. The results of the SWOT analysis show the position in Quadrant I, a very favorable situation. That is, Gebang PPI has the opportunity and strength so that it can take advantage of the opportunities that exist. The strategy that must be implemented is to support aggressive growth policies (growth oriented strategy). The strategy that can be implemented is to optimally utilize the existing potential to facilitate fisheries activities in Gebang, so as to provide benefits for increasing the income of Gebang fishermen.   Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Gebang dibangun sebagai sarana bagi nelayan dan pelaku perikanan di Kecamatan Gebang, Kabupaten Cirebon, dalam menjalankan aktivitas ekonomi perikanan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi fasilitas PPI Gebang dan tingkat pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat, serta potensi perikanan tangkap di Gebang. Selanjutnya menentukan strategi pengelolaan PPI Gebang dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan nelayan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesionerdan survei, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi pemerintah yang terkait untuk menganalisis tingkat pemanfaatan PPI. Pengukuran variabel menggunakan skala Likert, sedangkan untuk menentukan strategi pengelolaannya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kondisi sarana dan prasarana PPI Gebang kurang memadai bagi kelangsungan aktivitas perikanan, begitu juga dengan tingkat pemanfaatannya karena nelayan lebih memilih bertransaksi di luar PPI. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh ikatan permodalan antara nelayan dengan bakul/tengkulak. Besarnya potensi perikanan di PPI Gebang tidak menjamin tingkat kesejahteraan bagi nelayan, karena transaksi ekonomi perikanan masih ditentukan oleh bakul/tengkulak sebagai pemilik modal. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan posisi pada Kuadran I, merupakan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan. Artinya, PPI Gebang mempunyai peluang dan kekuatan sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strategi yang harus diterapkan adalah mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif (growth oriented strategy). Strategi yang dapat diterapkan adalah memanfaatkan secara optimal potensi yang ada untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan perikanan di Gebang, sehingga memberikan manfaat bagi peningkatan pendapatan nelayan Gebang.

AbstractThis study aims to identify internal environmental factors, and external environmental factors that affect the company's business and formulate appropriate types of strategies that can be applied by PT Esa Jaya Global in the development of its business. The type of research used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are triangulation of three techniques, namely semi-structured interviews, frank observation and documents. The source of data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Furthermore, the data was processed descriptively using EFE (External Factor Evaluation) Matrix, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix, SWOT Analysis Matrix, and data from the three matrices were analyzed by QSPM to determine the best and suitable strategy to be implemented in PT Esa Jaya Global . The results of this study indicate that PT Esa Jaya Global has 9 strength factors, 6 weakness factors, 2 opportunity factors, and 4 threat analyzes that affect the company. Based on the QSPM analysis, the best strategy for PT Esa Jaya Global is to conduct a work contract with customers and company partners who have the highest STAS value of 5.728.Key word: Logistic Expedition, EFE, IFE, SWOT, QSPM.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor lingkungan internal, dan faktor lingkungan eksternal yang mempengaruhi bisnis perusahaan serta merumuskan jenis strategi yang sesuai dan dapat diterapkan oleh PT Esa Jaya Global dalam pengembangan bisnisnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT Esa Jaya Global memiliki 9 faktor kekuatan, 6 faktor kelemahan, 2 faktor peluang, dan 4 analisis ancaman yang berpengaruh terhadap perusahaan. Berdasarkan analisis QSPM, strategi terbaik untuk PT Esa Jaya Global adalah melakukan kontrak kerja dengan pelanggan dan mitra perusahaan yang memiliki nilai STAS tertinggi yaitu 5,728.Kata kunci: Ekspedisi Logistik, EFE, IFE, SWOT, QSPM

ABSTRACT   The increase in the rate of demand for beef in Indonesia is not offset by an increase in beef production. These problems led to the establishment of many beef import companies, one of which was PT. Cowboy Nusantara Jaya. Tight business competition, makes this company need to design a strategic plan in managing the company's reputation. Reputation management is planned strategically so that the company can win the best position on the market. Reputation management is planned strategically so that the company can win the best position on the market. The purpose of this research is that the writer wants to explore the reputation management strategy carried out by PT. Cowboy Nusantara Jaya based on SWOT analysis. The method used by the author in compiling this study is descriptive qualitative. In this study the authors used two data sources namely primary and secondary. The author conducted in-depth interviews with three informants selected based on purposive sampling technique to obtain primary data. Whereas, the secondary data obtained by the writer is documentation techniques. The results showed that PT. Cowboy Nusantara Jaya has implemented several strategies in maintaining the reputation of the parent company well. As a subsidiary of PT. Suri Nusantara Jaya in the Central Java region, PT. Cowboy Nusantara Jaya continues to strive to prioritize customer satisfaction. Based on the SWOT analysis of PT. Cowboy Nusantara Jaya manages the reputation of the company by maintaining product quality, product availability, product prices, and easy and fast service innovations for its customers.

Optimum development of beef cattle is feasible in the potential area with effective strategies. This research was conducted in Banyumas regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the potential of Banyumas Regency in developing beef cattle farming as the basis for its development strategy. A survey method was conducted to obtain the secondary data supported by primary data subjected to simple descriptive statistical analysis consisting of mean values, distribution frequency, cross-tabulation and trend analysis. Ruminant potentials were investigated using LQ analysis, and developmental strategies were formulated using a SWOT analysis. The result showed a fluctuated but positive improvement trend of beef cattle population in Banyumas. Sub-districts potentially developed for beef cattle centres (LQ>1) included Kembaran, Sokaraja, Kalibagor, Kedungbanteng, Karanglewas, Sumbang and Baturraden. A quantitative SWOT matrix analysis showed that the internal factor was 0.0298 (X-axis), and the external factor was – 0.2941 (Y-axis). Conclusively, The key strategy to develop beef cattle in Banyumas was a differential strategy.
