AbstrakPadatnya perumahan penduduk dan kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan jasmani, mengakibatkan sedikitnya masyarakat yang memiliki kebun diperkarangan mereka dan sebagian acuh terhadap kondisi kesehatan fisiknya, mengakibatkan mudahnya terserang penyakit.Tujuan dari layanan ini adalah (1) untuk meningkatkan konsep pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara mengelola limbah dalam botol bekas dengan metode taman vertikal (2) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara menggunakan perangkat medis. Ada aktivitas servise yang dilakukan dalam satu bulan dengan pertemuan dalam beberapa minggu. Dengan tujuan kegiatan tersebut adalah masyarakat dan ibu-ibu pengurus PKK desa Samirono. Ada aktivitas layanan yang dilakukan melalui bimbingan.Hasil layanan dijelaskan secara deskriptif kualitatif. There is servise activity carryed out in one mounth with on meeting in weeks. with the  aim of the activity were the community and mothers of the PKK administrators of vilage Samirono. There is service activity carried out through guidance. The result of the service are described by qualitatively descriptiviely. Sumber Rejo Hamlet is a hamlet located in Lembeyan Wetan Village with the majority of the population's livelihoods being farmers. Community empowerment was chosen as a step to increase community knowledge, skills and motivation to strengthen their resources. Using ABCD approach, the activity began with the mapping of the area, community, associations, and individual assets. There were a number of problems that occurred in Sumber Rejo Hamlet. In mapping step, several obstacles faced by the community especially the fact that there were the amount of garbage scattered in the river and the lack of management of plastic waste. Then, plastic waste management training program was chosen to run. This activity is becoming the focus of main activities because more and more plastic waste will potentially pollute the environment. The waste management training was held on August 7, 2019 at Mrs. Katini’s home, one of the residents in Sumber Rejo Hamlet. The target of this activity is homemakers in Sumber Rejo village with the aim that they become more concerned with plastic waste and its use. Presenters of plastic waste management training came from Kopma Al-Hikmah IAIN Ponorogo where the implementation of the training went very well. The participants were very enthusiastic in welcoming the training and were able to take part in the activity until the end.  Keywords: empowerment, community, pollution, environment, garbage  Abstrak Dusun Sumber Rejo adalah dusun yang terletak di Desa Lembeyan Wetan dengan mayoritas mata pencaharian penduduk adalah petani. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dipilih sebagai langkah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan motivasi masyarakat untuk memperkuat sumber daya mereka. Menggunakan pendekatan ABCD, kegiatan dimulai dengan pemetaan area, komunitas, asosiasi, dan aset individu. Ada sejumlah masalah yang terjadi di Dusun Sumber Rejo. Dalam langkah pemetaan, beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat terutama fakta bahwa ada jumlah sampah yang berserakan di sungai dan kurangnya pengelolaan sampah plastik. Kemudian, program pelatihan pengelolaan limbah plastik dipilih untuk dijalankan. Kegiatan ini menjadi fokus kegiatan utama karena semakin banyak sampah plastik yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Pelatihan pengelolaan sampah plastik diadakan pada 7 Agustus 2019 di rumah Ny. Katini, salah satu warga di Dusun Sumber Rejo. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah para ibu rumah tangga di desa Sumber Rejo dengan tujuan agar mereka lebih peduli dengan sampah plastik dan penggunaannya. Penyaji pelatihan pengelolaan sampah plastik datang dari Kopma Al-Hikmah IAIN Ponorogo di mana pelaksanaan pelatihan berjalan dengan sangat baik. Para peserta sangat antusias dalam menyambut pelatihan dan dapat mengambil bagian dalam kegiatan sampai akhir.  Kata kunci: pemberdayaan, masyarakat, pencemaran, lingkungan, sampah

The problem of waste is always an interesting thing that never runs out to find a solution. One of them is plastic packaging waste that is widely used by the community and cannot be decomposed again by nature. In line with the SDGs issue, Indonesia is the second largest country that disposes of plastic waste in the world after China. This is very dangerous for the natural beauty of Indonesia's vast seas, and destroys a very diverse ecosystem. Existing plastic waste that comes from household waste, it can be used easily and cheaply into Ecobrick. Ecobrick is a term for the result of managing plastic waste into a brick that can be used as useful items such as chairs or tables. This plastic waste management training activity was carried out for housewives in Cibitung Tengah Village, Bogor Regency to find out the use of plastic waste that can be recycled to be used as useful goods. In addition, to provide awareness of the importance of sorting household waste in order to help preserve nature. Keywords: ecobricks, management, household, plastic waste

The hospital is an institution engaged in the field of health, where the service provided by doctors, nurses and health experts. In its activities, hospitals use medical devices mostly made of materials that are difficult to decompose. These medical devices, when finished are used to be waste, and waste from the hospital could potentially transmit the disease. Therefore, hospitals must have a guideline on the cost of waste management, so that the existing waste can be managed properly. Environmental Accounting is present as a guide on waste management costs that can be used in waste management. The purpose of this research is to know whether GMIM Manado Pancaran Kasih Hospital has applied environmental accounting according to existing standard. The results of this study found that GMIM Pancaran Kasih Hospital has applied its environmental accounting and carried out the process of Recognition, Measurement, Recording, Presentation, and Disclosure as well as those described in Government Accounting Standards of 2010.Keywords: Environmental accounting, Costs

ABSTRAKLimbah bersumber dari berbagai aktivitas manusia diantaranya aktivitas rumah tangga, industri, perdagangan, pertanian, perkantoran, dan sisa pembangunan. Namun aktivitas yang paling banyak menyumbang limbah adalah aktivitas rumah tangga. Pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga di desa masih dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu melalui penimbunan pada lahan kosong. Umumnya masyarakat desa menggunakan cara pembakaran untuk mengatasi penumpukan limbah tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan melalui pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga secara mandiri. Penyuluhan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga di desa Kaliploso melibatkan 30 peserta. Penyajian materi diawali dengan memberikan stimulus terkait pengetahuan peserta terhadap limbah rumah tangga dan jenis-jenisnya, kemudian dilanjutkan penyajian materi dengan metode ceramah. Diskusi yang dilakukan setelah penyajian materi diikuti peserta dengan antusias dan menghasilkan ide baru tentang pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga secara mandiri. Hasil kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan tingkat pemahaman 100% (30 peserta) dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat yang dibuktikan dengan munculnya ide percontohan pelaksana pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga jenis anorganik sebanyak 43,33% (13 peserta). Kata kunci: pengelolaan; limbah rumah tangga; desa Kaliploso ABSTRACTWaste comes from human activities such as household activities, industries, commerce, agriculture, offices, and residual of construction. But the most contributing waste is household activities. Management of household solid waste in the village is using traditional methods, by piling up on vacant land. The villagers are burning to overcome the pile. This activity aims to increase knowledge and public awareness to protect the environment through household waste management independently. Education of household waste management in Kaliploso village involves 30 participants. Presentation began by providing stimulus related to participants knowledge of definition and types of household waste, then continued with educate about household waste. The discussion was attended by participants enthusiastically and it produced new ideas about self-management of household waste. The results of this activity increase public knowledge with an understanding level of 100% (30 participants) and raise public awareness as evidenced by the emergence of pilot ideas for implementing inorganic types of household waste management as much as 43.33% (13 participants). Keywords: management; household waste, Kaliploso village

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>Exclusion Territories are geographical areas under the action of degenerative environmental phenomena of anthropogenic origin, which compromise quality of life in general. One of the greatest examples of such areas is the Guanabara Bay and its surroundings, the scene of some of the worst disastrous incidents and locale of frequent episodes of human misery. This article presents a brief description of the main characteristics of the region, providing some technological suggestions of biogeographic recovery to be adopted by public policies that intend to align themselves with the good practices of ecological economy, sustainability and quality of life. The work falls within the context of macro-engineering <em>cum</em> eco-innovation applied to the preservation and management of water sources and water bodies that serve productive purposes as natural niches and breeding grounds.</p><p><strong>Key words: </strong>Exclusion Territories, Guanabara Bay, waste management, quality of life.</p><p class="-1">===========================================================================</p><p class="-1"><strong>Resumo: </strong>Territórios de Exclusão são áreas geográficas sob ação de fenômenos ambientais degenerativos de origem antropogênica, os quais comprometem a qualidade de vida em geral. Um dos maiores exemplos de zonas desse tipo é a Baía de Guanabara e seu entorno, palco de alguns dos piores incidentes desastrosos e de frequentes episódios da miséria humana. O presente artigo descreve sumariamente as principais características da região, fornecendo algumas sugestões tecnológicas de recuperação biogeográfica a serem adotadas por políticas públicas que pretendam alinhar-se às boas práticas de economia ecológica, sustentabilidade e qualidade de vida. O trabalho se insere no contexto da macroengenharia <em>cum</em> eco-inovação aplicada à preservação e à gestão das fontes hídricas e dos corpos de água que servem a propósitos produtivos como nichos naturais e criadouros.</p><p class="-1"><strong>Palavras-chave: </strong>Territórios de Exclusão, Baía de Guanabara, gestão de resíduos, qualidade de vida.</p>

ABSTRACT PERFORMANCE AND HOTELS WASTE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN TOURISM REGION OF UBUD BALI The aim of this research was to know performance and formulate waste management strategies by star hotels in Ubud Tourism Region. Based on the result of the research, there were 2 hotels (14,28%) with very good classification, 6 hotel (42,86%) with good classification, 3 hotel (21,43%) with moderate classification and 3 hotels (21.43%) with poor classification. The strategy formulated to improve the effectiveness of hotels waste management especially for those for moderate and poor was by conducting analysis of internal factors (IFAS) and external factors (EFAS) which then analyzed with SWOT matrix. Based on the result of SWOT analysis using balance score card, it was found that the star hotel waste management condition which was in moderate category and poor was in quadrant III. This condition indicated that the strategy formulated in the combination of weakneas and opportunities. The formulation of strategy based on SWOT Analysis matrix were as follows: (1) Developing SOP of waste management by referring to the legislation in the environmental; (2) Improving and adding components of waste treatment facilities (WWTP, chimneys, and hazardous waste storage to meet technical standards; (3) Socializing waste management policy to all hotel employees; (4) Apply to the government waste management training for staff / human resources engineering division; and (5) Reporting the performance of the waste management system to the Gianyar Regency Environmental Office every 3 months. We provide commentary on the article “Medical Waste Management in Community Health Centers” to extend our results and highlight private community performance. We also present a new approach to medical waste management in PHCs through using various forms of Public–Private Partnership models.
