The purpose of this study is to critically analyze unique stories nested in flesh to exhaustively help readers and future researchers expand their appreciation and understanding on the expansive value of tattoos, its importance more than the symbols and images shown, and the recurring themes that can often tell you something about the person wearing the tattoo. Moreover, it seeks to understand how those without tattoos think towards those who have one. In this study, the researcher has used the qualitative method among 20 tattooed and 20 non-tattooed students in Talisay City College who were selected randomly. The results of the study show that non-tattooed respondents perceive as less acceptable than those students with tattoos. Most of the tattooed respondents’ motives for having tattoos are for self-identity that tattoos can never be taken away from them as it permanently inked on the skin. Other students see it as self-expression, making them unique in shapes, sizes, and colors. The researcher recommends an orientation-seminar on acceptance and tolerance in order to remove typecasting and value the stories inscribed in flesh.

The millennial generation is in the range of 23 to 38 years, which is now a productive and attractive workforce group. It is interesting to be studied where one of their characteristics is prioritizing Work-Life-Balance. It is a term where the generation prioritizes a balance between the world of work and personal life compared to previous generations. They tend to choose jobs that are more flexible in terms of conditions and working hours. So they can have more free time with friends, family, or to develop a hobby as it is stated in the results of research conducted by Ng Schweitzer and Lyons (2010). It is reinforced by the statement that the characteristics that describe the next millennial generation are that they would rather spend money to get certain experiences rather than save to add assets. Of course, millennials generally prefer to travel around Indonesia and the world rather than save for investment. This research aims to: 1) Determine millennial's motivation for traveling; 2). Know how traveling is favored by millennials. The research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological tradition where the data are collected by conducting in-depth interviews. The results of this study provide information about the demographic and psychographic data of millennials, which can be necessary for traveling and tourism businesses to understand who is the target in a pleasant and profitable business.

Self-identity is an aspect that every human in the world has. Without it, a person is in danger of being negatively affected by those around him/her and by the outside world. Some people are grappling with this identity-forming phase in their search for self-definition. This is reflected in Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Therefore, this research aims to describe the main characters' search for self-identity as seen in the novel. The type of this research was library research. This research applied a psychological approach, and the data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that Kathy and Tommy's quest to find their true selves occurred in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood stages. Narrated by Kathy, she flashed back the memories of how they, Kathy and Tommy, are puzzled because of too many mysteries in Hailsham, the boarding school where they live. They connected each puzzle which could be the answer. But, in the novel, the question they belong to for being different brought them to another question. The process of findings itself flowed as long as they grew. In the end, they found information about their identity as a clone and as an individual.

Abstract  Self-confidence is the core point of this research. Self confidence is a feeling that makes people think that they will do better after their efforts, a feeling that they can know more over time, a feeling that they can change themselves to adapt to the environment. There are three points of discussion under the topic. The first is self-confidence in facing family problem. There is no family without a problem and every single problem could be settled by means of self-confidence. This is followed by self-confidence in love as the second point. Love is a universal nuance that comes to everybody’s uplifting or crushing the person concerned and again by self-confidence love becomes a ladder to betterment in life.  The third is self confidence in self-identity. A man will never be considered a man unless he has self-identity, which may appear in various forms, one of which is social standing.  The main theory of self-confidence in taken from Brown stating that confidence is the belief that one will perform in a correct proper effective way. This research is conducted with descriptive qualitative method proposed by Krathwohl (1998), exploring social issues to be an epitome of guidelines.  The results show that the protagonist has a strong self-confidence in facing family problem, love and self-identity. He faces a lot of problems in his family and this happens because he is an adopted child. However, through his strong self-confidence he could settle all the obstacles nicely and finally his self-confidence gives comfort to him. Key words: confidence, family, love, identity.
