Inflation and Growth in the company's profit margin than Food and Beverages. Analysis tools used in this study is panel data regression, a combination of two data time series and cross section can provide more data so that it will generate degree of freedom (df) is greater, to determine the effect between inflation and growth in production cost profit margin ratio. Based on the conclusion, it can be concluded that the rate of inflation and growth in production costs affect the level of corporate profit margins at the Food and Beverages during the period 2005-2008 with a coefficient of determination equal to 96.83%. Partially between the inflation rate did not negatively affect the profit margin between the rate of inflation while the growth rate positively affects the production cost. So that can be implicated to obtain a high level of profit margin, then for company management to pay more attention to the level of growth in production costs, such as looking for suppliers who provide raw material prices are much cheaper so that more efficient control of production costs.

Profitability is used as a prime indicator to measure the sustainable performance of an organization. The current study made an attempt to apply the DuPont model to investigate the multilevel profitability determinants for the pharmaceutical industry of India. The study also estimates an empirical model to predict the association of profitability with factors such as profit margin, asset utilization, leverage, interest load and tax load of firms in the pharmaceutical industry of India. For this purpose, a dataset for 170 companies from 2010–2011 to 2018–2019 was analysed initially by using panel data regression followed by stepwise panel data regression. The study successfully applied and tested the DuPont model with respect to the firms of the pharmaceutical industry in India. It was found that the factors such as profit margin, asset utilization and leverage had a significant positive effect on the firms’ profitability and the factor interest load had a significant negative effect on the firms’ profitability. The tax load does not have an impact on the profitability of the pharmaceutical firms in India. These findings are expected to provide a guide for understanding the profitability of the firms in a better way.

This study aims to evaluate the calculation of cost of production. The accuracy of the calculation of cost of production is influenced by the suitability in the accumulation and calculation of production costs which includes the cost of raw materials, direct labor costs and other costs (factory overhead costs). This research was conducted at UKM UD. Usaha Baru which aims to determine the calculation of cost of production at UD. Usaha Baru and to find out whether the calculation of cost of production is in accordance with the full costing method. The technique (method) of data analysis used in this study is quantitative analysis. Data collection techniques use interview techniques directly to obtain information from the number of units of monthly production, raw material costs, direct labor costs, and factory overhead costs, as well as other information relating to the calculation of cost of production. Based on the evaluation results for the calculation of raw material costs and labor costs are in accordance with the full costing method. However, the calculation of factory overhead costs is not in accordance with the full costing method because there are costs that have not been included in the calculation of production costs.

scholarly journals The effect of changes in opportunity costs and prices of some agricultural products such as sugar beet, corn, wheat etc. used for bioethanol production on the cost of bioethanol production is not adequately known in Turkey.. Therefore, it was aimed to determine the bioethanol production cost items and unit production costs and also to put forth the effects of variations in raw material prices on cost of bioethanol.. The research data were collected via personal interviews from active bioethanol plants in Turkey. The results of previous studies and documents of related institutions and organizations were also used. The study followed classical cost analysis approach to calculate production cost. Scenario analysis was performed when exploring the effect of raw material prices on bioethanol production cost. Research findings showed that production cost per litre bioethanol produced from sugar beet molasses, corn, wheat and corn-wheat mixture were 2.50 TL, 2.84 TL, 2.95 and 2.84 TL, respectively. The share of raw material expenses in bioethanol cost per liter varied associated with the crops used in the process, it was 28.55% for bioethanol produced from sugar beet molasses, 44.81% for bioethanol produced from corn-wheat mixture and 44.87% bioethanol produced from corn. The research results also showed that the changes that occur in raw material prices significantly affected the bioethanol production cost and opportunity cost of crops created difficulties in biomass supply. Implementing the suitable policies and strategies and making the necessary arrangements in legislation would enhance the economic sustainability of bioethanol production in Turkey.

Abstract.     Financial performance is an analysis carried out to see the extent to which a company carries out the rules of implementing finances properly and correctly. The measurement of the financial performance of Islamic banks mostly still uses conventional measurement indicators namely profitability. This is considered less relevant, because the measurement of the performance of Islamic banks should be measured based on the suitability of sharia. Sharia Conformity and Profitability is a tool that measures the integrity of a bank, but still does not ignore the conventional side because the purpose of Islamic banks is to seek profit. This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Governance Business Sharia on Sharia Conformity and Profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The population in this study used all Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia. The sample used was eleven Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2012-2016. The method in this study uses explanatory research methods. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression. The results showed that the level of implementation of Good Governance Business Sharia was good enough and tended to increase. The Sharia Conformity and Profitability level of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia has a high level of performance which means that the average performance is above on average. The implementation of Good Governance Business Sharia (GGBS) has a positive effect on Sharia Conformity but has a negative effect on Profitability. The results have important implications for Islamic Commercial Banks and regulator regarding Good Governance Business Sharia that should be modified as it aligns with sharia conformity but does not have impact on profitability. Keywords.    Financial performance, Sharia Conformity and Profitability, Good Governance Business Sharia.
